Chapter 120

The huge majestic figure followed Lucas's suit, a huge crimson aura condensed forming a virtual sword in its hand.

All the mana within a radius of a kilometre concentrated around Lucas's and condensed near him as if obeying his command.

The mana in the surroundings was started to suck by Lucas. Each pore of its body opened that pulled all of the mana and the surge of power within his body started to increase.

The mana emanated from Lucas's body was now comparable to 8-Star. His glowing skin started to crack little by little but as if he didn't care, he started to absorb the mana crazily.

Julian, Ami, Luna and all those present out there felt as if they lost the ability to feel mana and felt weaker as the mana was disrupted by Lucas and the entire area was devoid of mana until the mana from the surroundings gushed here.

Everyone felt that every bit of mana now belongs to Lucas and no one has the right to utilise it.

As the virtual figure raised its sword a burst of killing intent swept through, dying the entire sky in red.

The majestic body glowed in red and imitating Lucas's moves, slashed the sword toward the dragon.

"Dimensional Slash."

The whole area trembled as the voice echoed in the atmosphere.

The slash of the majestic figure and Lucas's silhouette merged and radiated with an overwhelming aura and a burst of red sword light surged towards the dragon.

Anything the ray of light touched was annihilated into countless particles and wiped off existence.

As the burst of light collided with the dragon breath, the dragon breath that was able to create a valley and destroy a mountain, dispersed and the sword light passed through it easily.

There was no sound of an explosion and no sound of thundering as the dragon's breath scattered into tiny particles of light.

The ray of light collided with the dragon and many small images of the dragon flashed in the surroundings which shattered like glass. Its body had been cut into millions of small pieces and was wiped off from existence.

It died without emanating a sound and a shrill cry.

The ray of light instantly disappeared along with the dragon which seemed to vaporise with no remains of his body.

As the dragon died mysteriously, the black flames fell on the ground and started to flicker and the soil on which it fell, started turning dark slowly.

"Neutralize it." Lucas's heavy voice resounded.

Luna who was too shocked flinched as she felt Lucas was speaking to her.

She instantly dashed towards thr flame and standing within a short distance joined her hands and started to chant.

A huge pillar of light twinkled through the sky and fell on the flames which emitted a screeching voice as if it was alive and begging for mercy.

Lucas looked around and as he saw everything was over, his vision turned dark and his silhouette fell from the sky.

Julian noticed Lucas fall and waved her hand.

A hand emerged from the ground, which safely carried Lucas from falling and slid him towards the centre, carrying him safely.

Julian looked at Lucas's figure lying unconscious.

His demeanour had reverberated back to his previous self, his hair which had reached to the shoulder become short again and his mature appearance was nowhere to be seen.

But even after changing back, his face had a forlorn expression and his body was full of cracks from which blood was seeping down.

He looked like he will crumble at the slightest touch.

Luna after getting rid of the seed of darkness flames with her purifying ability came back to see Lucas's condition.

"Luna what is happening to him. His body is cracking, can you heal him." Julian pleaded with a worry ridden voice.

Luna nodded and cast some spells and said"Not good, he had forcefully raised his strength too much and his body wasn't able to handle the mana."

"We have to treat him quickly, we need to perform a ritual to heal him, his situation is too grim and can't be healed even with an advanced healing potion," Luna spoke with a solemn expression.

Julian frowned on hearing Lucas's condition.

"Okay, let's go," Julian said.

"Ami take care of the remaining."

With this, she lifted Lucas and went back.

Ami looked at fading Princess back and observed the surrounding.

The tall and mighty fortress wall that had been standing for several centuries was on the verge of collapsing.

The beautiful green plains and the ground before the City had been devastated and now the ground was full of cracks and craters.

The forest and the small cliff nearby had been shattered and the trees seemed to vaporise.

The destruction this place suffered was comparable to a large scale war.

It looke as if a huge battle between two countries took place.

Ami looked at the knights, some were barely able to hold their consciousness while most of them had already passed out and their bodies have been covered by dirt and mud.

She thought about the students of her class and felt they had suffered a lot. Thinking about this her heart ached.

Still, she wasn't able to save many of them. Since most of the instructors were accompanying the students on their exploration there was a shortage of them and they have lost many of them here.

A loss of a 5-Star warrior is not a matter of joke.

She sighed.

Few days after the battle at Fortress.

A man wearing specks with dishevelled hair with eyes full of tiredness made his way towards the lower castle.

His clothes were in disarray and he looked like someone who hadn't been taught any customs.

Seeing his looks no one was ridiculed, no one laughed but looked at him with respect.

He walked into the huge teleportation array that took him to huge the floating castle which was hovering in the air.

Standing before a magnificent door made of precious material in the hallway, the man cleared his throat and asked the guard to open it and spoke"I wanted to request an immediate audience with His Majesty."

The guard gave a salute and opened the door and spoke"His Majesty is waiting for your presence."

He entered the throne room which is a place of luxury and splendour. Sitting on the throne was the hundred sixth king of the kingdom of Cyrus, Alexander Von Stan.

Even at the age of sixty, he had a neat face devoid of any wrinkles and white hair and looked as if he never aged.

He is someone who had been created straight from the tales of valour and chivalry. His noble gentle and upright demeanour had won the hearts of many and a single blow of his sword had the power to shift the tide of the battlefield.

Seeing the king leisurely sitting on the throne, the man sighed.

Although the king is mighty and quite fitting, he still had one flaw, he is careless and lazy and always dumps all the work on him.

He is the Prime Minister and handles most of the work of the Kingdom.

Beluga arrived before the king and kneeled and showed his loyalty.

"Ohh! Beluga."

"Your face reeks. Can't you dress properly befitting your status as the minister?"The King mocked and laughed seeing him.

"Where will this humble servant get time to maintain himself, when a lazy king is throwing his works on a poor person like me," Beluga spoke gently.

Alexander wasn't offended rather he averted his gaze trying to get past the matter.

"Ahem...Cough."

Clearing the throats.

"Speak what is the important matter? I am quite busy now."

"Busy in fooling around," Beluga spoke sarcastically.

Gulp.

Alexander swallowed his saliva and looked at Beluga with a solemn expression and thought 'Am I the king or he is the king. Let's leave it, I am a benevolent ruler, I should forgive him.'

Beluga took out a tablet and scrolling through it handed it over to the king and spoke"Majesty, recently there had been huge chaos and the dungeon outbreaks and many small."

A knight who stood beside him and was the chief guard, one of the king's swords, reached forward and took the tablet and handed it to Alexander.

Alexander's expression turned solemn as he looked at the report. His lazy and playful expression disappeared leaving behind a serious.

Closing the tablet, he spoke, "We already have our hands full with the demons after their corruption and now it seems the otherworldly are making their move again."

Alexander sighed, the situation was going to be serious and what made him frustrated was that he couldn't do anything to prevent them and can only make a move after they appear.

"Your Majesty there is another thing, "Beluga spoke taking a deep sigh.

Except for the official works, the king even forced him to do personal work that is to report if Princess came across any boys.

'Honestly, wasn't it too much. This man is stalking his daughter and I have to keep a tab on it," Beluga complained.

He remembered about a boy from the Marquise family who said something improper about the princess and it reached the King's hearing in the dead of night dressing like a thief, he sneaked out of the castle and wreaked havoc in their house under the guise of a gangster attacking the house.

Can anyone believe this shit, a gangster attacking a noble house? Only those with screws loose can come up with this kind of reason.

He was already feeling pity for the boy.

Opening the boy's biodata and the recent things, he handed it to the king.

The King grinned thinking about where the boy got the guts to stay close with her beloved angel.

As soon as his eyes fell on the boys, he was astonished and his pupil shrank but his expression returned to normal within a moment.

"Che, he is just a commoner, what can he do. You don't need to mind him. Leave the poor lamb." Alexander said and waved his hand signalling Beluga to return.

While walking out of the throne room, Beluga couldn't believe what just happened.

"The king ignored the matter. How weird?" He muttered.

After Beluga the exit, the entire throne room became silent.

The knight who was standing beside the king kneeled and asked with a trembling voice.

"Majesty, that boy...He is..."

Alexander smiled and said."Yes, he is."

"Hahaha hahaha."

"When thousands of soldiers die, a general is born, when thousands of mighty generals die a monarch is born. The heavens are fair, they will always make up the balance somehow." Alexander spoke.

"My friend, heavens finally have taken pity on you."

"A storm is about to rise."

"I think we will be meeting soon enough my friend," Alexander spoke with a huge smile on his face.
