Zhang Ke hadn’t expected that when she anxiously rushed into Ling Tianya’s room, she would see w.a.n.g Manpeng cruelly holding Ling Tianya by her neck.

“Leader!” Zhang Ke was shocked and, without any thought, immediately shouted and ran over to Ling Tianya’s side. “Leader, you’re choking her!”

This time, w.a.n.g Manpeng didn’t release his hand and continued holding Ling Tianya tightly, as if he was going to break her neck. “Then let her die. Since she wouldn’t be my woman even in death, she might as well die!”

w.a.n.g Manpeng’s words made Zhang Ke anxious. She looked at Ling Tianya and then something unexpected happened. She released her hand and stopped struggling, her red eyes glaring at w.a.n.g Manpeng, as if the last bit of energy in her body had concentrated in her eyes.

Ling Tianya glared at w.a.n.g Manpeng like this, the determination in her eyes making w.a.n.g Manpeng apprehensive.

“Leader, if you want her to die, why did you make my hypnotize her, make me stay by her side and make me bring her here? If she died, wouldn’t all of your efforts be in vain?” Zhang Ke was anxious, however, she couldn’t physically stop w.a.n.g Manpeng and could only persuade him through her words.

w.a.n.g Manpeng seemed to have been affected by Zhang Ke’s words. The hand around Ling Tianya’s neck relaxed. However, there wasn’t enough oxygen in Ling Tianya’s brain, and she fainted.

Upon seeing Ling Tianya faint, w.a.n.g Manpeng finally woke up from his dreamlike state. He immediately released his hand and hugged Ling Tianya’s paralyzed body.

“Tianya! Tianya! Wake up!” w.a.n.g Manpeng anxiously called Ling Tianya’s name.

“Leader, place her on the bed!” Zhang Ke was incredibly anxious, however, she couldn’t show it in front of w.a.n.g Manpeng. Therefore, she could only suppress the anxiousness in her heart and remain calm.

When w.a.n.g Manpeng heard Zhang Ke’s words, he placed Ling Tianya on the bed. Ling Tianya’s body was extremely light as if she could be blown away by the wind at any time. This made w.a.n.g Manpeng incessantly worried.

“Go find the doctor!” w.a.n.g Manpeng ordered Zhang Ke.

Zhang Ke stood there, looking at w.a.n.g Manpeng hesitantly. She was worried that if she left, w.a.n.g Manpeng would do something to Ling Tianya.

Seeing that Zhang Ke was not leaving, w.a.n.g Manpeng turned around and shouted, “Didn’t you hear me?”

“Yes, leader!” Seeing w.a.n.g Manpeng angry, Zhang Ke could only reluctantly leave the room to search for the doctor.

The KSI organization was extremely large. Although the main group was outside of the country, no matter where w.a.n.g Manpeng was, he would have this doctor with him.

The doctor anxiously followed Zhang Ke and saw Ling Tianya laying on the bed. She was pale and unconscious, and there was a shocking handprint on her neck.

Seeing the doctor, w.a.n.g Manpeng immediately stood up and waved his hand. “Hurry up and take a look at her!”

The doctor first checked Ling Tianya’s breathing and heartbeat to see whether she was still alive.

Although Ling Tianya’s breathing was weak and her heartbeat slow, she was still alive. This was good fortune amongst the rest of the unluckiness.

Ling Tianya had fainted because her brain hadn’t received enough oxygen for a long time. Now, all he could do was pump air into her.

Ling Tianya lay on the large, soft bed with an oxygen tube in her nose. The bruise around her neck had become even more obvious.

w.a.n.g Manpeng looked at the bruise around Ling Tianya’s neck, despising his own two hands.
