After taking a nice bath the two of them came out. Xie Yuansheng had helped Feng Xinying ma.s.sage her body carefully with a loofah. He loved caressing her in the tub and she loved his touch. Even though he wanted to get inside her, he restrained himself in order to take things slowly. He didn't want to scare her with his l.u.s.t for her. Those emotions were new for him and he was feeling thrilled about his discovery of feeling for her. Yes, it was impossible to stay away from her, come what may. Perhaps he would even speak to her husband when he was fine. 

Both of them came downstairs where Lu Boyun had prepared great breakfast for them. It was getting pretty late, so Feng Xinying just grabbed a sandwich and stuffed some food in her purse for them to eat on the way. They reached the doctor's clinic five minutes before 11AM and as soon as they reached, the nurse informed them that they should wait for him as he was with another patient. 

Xie Yuansheng was a little nervous. Feng Xinying looked at him and held his hand in hers. She smiled and said, "Don't be nervous Shengu, I am there with you." 

He smiled tensely at her. His tension was palpable. 

The doctor called them in the next fifteen minutes. When they entered his chamber, the doctor smiled at them. He knew Feng Xinying very well and knew of her social status. This was the most important case he was dealing with. He rose from his chair to greet them and said, "So how is our Shengu doing today?" He guided them to a comfortable couch in his room. 

They sat down and he sat opposite to them on a plush chair. Crossing his legs and clasping his hands, he smiled and raised his eyebrows for Xie Yuansheng to answer his question. 

Xie Yuansheng licked his lips. He was clearly very anxious. "I am doing good…" he replied hesitantly. 

"That's good to hear," said the doctor and looked at Feng Xinying. "Would you like to stay here or leave the two of us alone?"

Xie Yuansheng immediately said, "No! Feng Xinying will stay here." As he said that he held her hands tightly. 

Feng Xinying smiled at him encouragingly and patted his hands. She said, "Yes I am going to stay here, don't worry." 

The doctor understood that she had really supported him nicely. He smiled and said, "That is fine with me. So let us start with your therapy."

For the next half an hour, he kept asking him questions and puzzles just to a.s.sess his cognitive ability. He wanted to make sure that Xie Yuansheng was ready for hypnotism. When he was sure that Xie Yuansheng could undergo the process, he said, "I think you are ready for hypnosis. Should we start with it?" 

Xie Yuansheng looked at Feng Xinying who nodded with encouragement. He looked at the doctor and said, "Okay…"

Xie Yuansheng was made to lie on the couch, while Feng Xinying went and sat down a little further away. She didn't want to disturb the doctor. 

Once Xie Yuansheng lied on the couch, the doctor started the treatment. He asked him exhale his breath. "I want you to imagine that your eyes are too relaxed to open." 

When Xie Yuansheng imagined that, within a few minutes, howsoever he tried to open them, he couldn't.

When the doctor realized that Xie Yuansheng was slowly going in that state, he said, "I want you to now visualize clouds. Feel the power to blow them away."

Xie Yuansheng nodded. 

"Now count the numbers of clouds that you are blowing away."

As Xie Yuansheng did that, the effect of his trance increased and within the next few minutes he was too tired to think of any more number. 

The doctor knew that Xie Yuansheng was now in a hypnotic state. "Can you hear me?" he asked to make sure that Xie Yuansheng was listening to him. 

"Yes," replied Xie Yuansheng in a relaxed tone. 

 "You have been telling me about Yini. Can you tell me what do you see?" asked the doctor. "Can you see Yini?"

Xie Yuansheng's brain was in fact in a hyperactive state. His eyes started moving inside the closed eyelids. "Yes, I can see her. She is again running away from me?" 

The doctor already knew who Yini was because Feng Xinying had told him about it. 

"Where is she running?" asked the doctor.

"She is in the garden and running towards the house. She is so dirty that I want to clean her," replied Xie Yuansheng. 

"Can you see her face?" 

" No, I can't. She is running very fast."

"I want you to stop for a moment and see how the house looked from outside."

Xie Yuansheng stopped speaking. In his imagination, he stopped and looked at the house. It was a huge house with lovely garden and trees. It was as if he had visited that place earlier. Suddenly he saw a young woman coming out of the main door. She was laughing and shouting at him, "Sheng'er, why have you played in mud with Yini. Now I have to clean both of you!" 

"I see- I see a woman. She is calling me Sheng'er," said Xie Yuansheng with excitement. 

"Who is she?" asked the doctor. 

In his imagination, he could hear a small child speaking, "Mother, I didn't do this. It was Yini who wanted me to play in the mud. She pushed me and now she is running. I have to clean her or she will fall ill." 

Xie Yuansheng was shocked. He saw his mother. 

"Who is she?" goaded the doctor for his answer. 

"My m- mother," he replied anxiety etched on his face. He scrunched his face while saying that as if he was in a lot of pain. 

The doctor proceeded. He wanted to push him a little more. "Go inside the house." 

Xie Yuansheng started walking inside the house as he stared at his mother. His mother was slowly coming towards him. He wanted to embrace her but before he could do that, a little child from the side nudged him and leapt in his mother's lap. "You little brat," his mother laughed again and took him inside. 

Xie Yuansheng was shocked to see the little boy in his mother's lap. Was that him? His eyes were wide with amazement. He followed the two of them inside the house. 

"Are you in the house?" asked the doctor. 

Xie Yuansheng nodded and said, "Yes."
