The Mutant Mountain Lion slowly stood up staggering as it gave a deafening roar towards Leo and the group as it gave another dashed towards them with blood leaking from its neck and face from the bullet wounds. Its eyes are already tainted blood red from rage or just its blood.

Leo noticed that the zombies are moving towards them because of the sounds right now and Leo was forced to make a decision. It would have been fine if he was alone even if he was surrounded by hundreds of these man eating zombies as he would still be able to escape even in the face of a mutated monster as his Armor would at least him from harm but now he had a group following him especially that three boys are Amanda's siblings and there was even a little girl with them now.

"Michael! Lead the others towards the house and don't stop running! Make sure to not get bitten! Hurry! Before the Zombies surrounds us!" Leo commanded as he put the rifle an his back and dashed at the mutated mountain lion who's now limping and growing weak from losing too much blood.

"Yes!" Michael shouted in reply as he led the rest of group as they all the zombies that got on their way while Leo charge at the mountain lion intending to finish the fight immediately.

Austin was shocked a bit when Michael didn't even hesitate at leaving Leo behind even if he was ordered to do so but then thought of that Armor again and how calm the person is just based from his tone and hurriedly gave the other bat to his wife as he he swooped up his daughter on his other arm as they closely followed behind the rest of the group "They are already so calm even with this many zombies in front of us and a mountain lion at the back, It wasn't even that long since the outbreak started but if feels like they are already very used to it but even a soldier like me still makes me feel afraid at this, must be because I have my family that I need to protect" Austin smiled as he looked at his exhausted and haggard but still beautiful wife and his daughter who already buried her head to his shoulder afraid as he told himself to become more stronger to protect his loved ones and his decision to follow Leo's group was already decided.

The rest of the group finally manage to reached the gate of the house safe and sound as they hurriedly got in the other side of the gate and locked it tightly using a st.u.r.dy the st.u.r.dy chain and a huge padlock they got earlier from the house.

The last thing they saw was a vague silhouette of a bear appeared behind Leo as he tore the mountain lion apart at its mouth just before their sights was blocked by the moaning zombies in front of them, that are trying to force their way inside wanting to feast on their living flesh.

"Come on!" Josh yelled at them from the front door as he urged them to immediately get inside.

All of them slumped at the floor breathing hard as their bodies stimulation of adrenaline finally ceased as they immediately felt their bodies slumped from exhaustion.

"d.a.m.n, that was nerve wracking!" Micheal said in between breaths.

"d.a.m.n, I hope the gate will hold longer" Tom who has been silent until said in a worried tone while sitting on chair by the window.

"Don't the gates are especially made st.u.r.dy even a a normal truck wouldn't be able to destroy except a tank though and probably someone like Leo too" Josh rea.s.sured them while he jokingly said the last words.

"Did anyone got bitten? Make sure to check yourself" Joe looked at the rest of the group especially the newcomers while he forced himself to lean at the wall.

The others slowly carefully check their bodies if they get bitten without them noticing among that chaos earlier and after that, they heaved a sighed of relief knowing that their all safe now..for the time being.

The only sound that can only be heard among the silence was their heavy breathing as it slowly returned to normal.

"Will he be fine?" Laura who's been silent since finally said something as he asked worriedly at her husband and just as Austin was about to answer her.

Tom interjected and said to her smiling confidently "You're worried about that kid Leo? Don't be, that kids a monster and you saw it yourself earlier at how he killed that mutated monster earlier".

"What Tom said is right even with this swarm of Zombies, nothing can stop him. Instead you guys should go clean yourselves, there's a fresh towel at the shelf in the bathroom" Joe said with a lot of respect and confidence for Leo while pointing at the direction of the bathroom.

Laura's eyes lit up at the mention of the bathroom but hesitated because they aren't familiar to each other but seeing her husband nodding, her hesitation vanished as she got up and led her daughter towards the bathroom.

Seeing the girls disappearing inside the bathroom, Josh questioned Austin "So where did you guys came from?"

"We actually came from Miami and was just here for a short vacation but we didn't expect that these deadly epidemic would spread this fast. When the chaos ensued I actually wanted to bring my family towards a near military base here for shelter but I actually did not expect that the streets would be almost be pack with Zombies. I think that the world had already succ.u.mbed to chaos" Austin grimace remembering just how hard it was survive outside.

"You're right, the world had already fallen into chaos with Zombies rampaging on every streets of every country in the world than even the most reclusive tribe wouldn't escape from this"

A voice sound at the other side of the door as it opened and what they saw was Huge Red Armor covered in blood and gore, that it even looked more menacing now because of the blood.

""Boss! Kid! You're back!""

"En" Leo said nodded then took off his helmet as he looked at Austin "You're right, the world have already been overrun by these man eating zombies" he said confidently, knowing just how many red dots are covering the countries around the world on his map that it looked they are dyed red in blood.

"But the most important thing is that were alive. Alive until we see the end of this "Apocalypse" Leo said br.i.m.m.i.n.g with confidence.

"Right!" "That's the spirit!" "We'll survive this until the end!"

"Alright, go outside and clean up the corpse of the mutated lion. We will feast on it tonight!"

All of them are immediately startled by his words, that they immediately ran outside and what they saw was the corpse of the said monster just lying on the front yard looking like a harmless cat except it was almost covered in blood.

"Stop gaping and get to work. Lift it to the backyard and clean it. After that, roast it over the fire"

"Alright, leave this to me kid! Just so you know this old man here is great at roasting meat. I'll let you guys feast on my secret recipe!" Tom said with an excited glint in his eyes.

Josh shouted in glee but got reprimanded in return for yelling out loud and after that he went hurriedly went and help the men at preparing the mountain lion while Leo took off his armor and handed the necessary spices and tools from his Inventory to Tom before he went and took a wash at another Bathroom upstairs, knowing that the mother and daughter are taking a shower at the bathroom beside the kitchen.
