Dio immediately de-summoned [The Hand] and [King Crimson], leaving [The World] active in case something happened again. Now, without Epitaph watching the future, Dio had to focus his attention to maximum!

Five more minutes passed without Thanos ever showing himself again.

Is he really gone for good? Dio frowned as he didnt think Thanos would retreat like this. He didnt think any of his attacks would faze the Tyrant. After all, Thanos wasnt someone that feared death itself! Dio felt stuck as he didnt know what to do now, but then again, he must get Carol to safety as soon as possible!

So, Dio immediately took Carol and left, but suddenly Thanos blade that was left behind earlier moved. Dio was surprised for a second and immediately assumed his fighting stance with [Reapers Gaze] in hand to counter-attack, but the blade suddenly was suddenly catapulted towards a wormhole that suddenly appeared in the sky!

Dio was immediately confused by Thanos plan and expanded his Hamon Energy. Sure enough, he saw another wormhole appear above Carol. Did Thanos target Carol all along? Dio gritted his teeth as he felt annoyed by Thanos underhanded tactic.

You are so low! Dio said as he activated The [World]s time stop ability! He quickly took Carol and got away from the Wormhole as Carols safety was his priority right now. After Dio resumed the flow of time back to normal, Thanos blade fell from the wormhole and hit the ground where Carol was supposed to be earlier hard!

Dio was really annoyed by what happened today, but at the same time, his soul leaped in joy as another wormhole appeared and Galaxy came out from within! Dio immediately put Carol on Galaxys back and rode Galaxy to put some distance from Thanos!

It was a miracle that Galaxy that fell asleep for a long time woke up at such a crucial moment! Through a brief telepathic communication, Dio immediately knew the changes that Galaxy has gone through! Now, Dio would be able to advance without any problem!

Lets go! Dio said as he was excited about Galaxys new power. Galaxy then rose to the sky and opened a few wormholes of her own. At the same time, the Dark Battleship has already escaped as Dio gave his order earlier on. He knew that he couldnt risk losing the Dark Battleship this early to Thanos, so his decision was the correct one as he now had Galaxy!

Although that was the correct order for Dio to give in that situation, he still had to leave Xandar as he couldnt fight Thanos in a battle of attrition. That was when Galaxy appeared as her Stand power to cross space was almost the same as the Space Stone itself!

Then again, a Stand had its own limitation. Unlike the Space Stone that could travel many galaxies in an instant, Galaxys stand only could travel between close planets right now, it couldnt cross dimensions either, but at least it was for now! Even so, Dio was still satisfied as he could use Galaxys power to travel.

After he ordered Galaxy to take them to the Dark Battleship, Dio patted Galaxys back in excitement. Dio even prepared many things that Galaxy liked as a reward for her recovery. He then immediately checked up on Carol, but he couldnt do anything as Carol was still asleep. Without knowing when Carol would wake up, Dio decided to treat himself.

The energy contained inside the Power Stone was uncontrollable energy, and it was too violent! It was fortunate that Dio has already evolved [The World] now as he could use [The World]s second ability to rewrite reality! He used it to ignore the side effect of using the Power Stone. It wasnt really necessary, but at the very least, he could save up [Gold Experience]s time!

Although he sincerely believed that the soul he needed to perform reality Overwrite was a hassle to get, he still could gather them! In comparison, he didnt know when he would be able to get his hand on [Gold Experience] Card again in the future!

After removing all his injuries with reality Overwrite, Dio immediately took off the Power Stone from the [Reapers Gaze] as he deemed it unnecessary for now and stored it back to the special metal ball that could contain the Power Stones energy. Furthermore, [Reapers Gaze] wasnt a weapon that was created to inhibit Infinity Stones power, so enhancing it with Power Stone for an extended duration could cause harm to the weapon!

This was normal as the Infinity Stones was a powerful artifact! Even a specially made Infinity Gauntlet that was specifically used to house the 6 Infinity Stones couldnt withstand the Infinity Stones energy after Thanos used his infamous snap! The Infinity Gauntlet itself also shared the damage it took from the Infinity Stones to its users body. That was why Thanos armour was destroyed, and his life energy was exhausted after the snap!

This was the reason why the Infinity Stones and Infinity Gauntlet couldnt be used by everyone! After Dio was finally done treating himself, the Dark Battleship made its way towards Earth as Dio returned to his quarters to rest.

After some time, Carol that had been unconscious for a long time suddenly opened her eyes! She was confused as she didnt know where she was, but as she calmed herself down and looked around, she knew that she was inside a familiar ship! She began to walk out of her room as she wanted to see what was going on right now.

Madam Carol, you have finally woken up! two dark elves said respectfully to Carol as she left her quarter.

Yeah, it was a long nap! So where is Dio? Carol asked with a smile on her face.

The chief is currently feeding the Pegasus. Do you need us to inform the chief that you are expecting him? The Dark Elf said respectfully.

Nah, just take me to his room. I will wait for him there! Carol said with a smile on her face.

Alright, then please follow us! The Dark Elves said before leading Carol towards Dios quarter.

The news about Carol was eventually relayed to Dio, and Dio finally could sigh in relief. He was really worried that Carol couldnt wake up again from her injuries, but now that she had woken up, he could smile brightly again! It just happened that Dio had a lot of questions that he needed an answer from Carol!

Dio patted Galaxys neck as he wanted to meet Carol as soon as possible, but Galaxy became upset as she was in the middle of getting feed by Dio. She shoved Dio with her head and bit on Dios clothes belligerently.

Alright, I will keep you company for now! Dio said as he laughed at the horses possessiveness. Dio couldnt help but shake his head as he now had to feed Galaxy until she was satisfied, but then again, meeting Carol could wait for later!
