The Major General left NASA after he got what he wanted. As a man with a military background, all he could think of was the profit for the military from budgeting the research! During this time, where exploring space was right on the corner, the stake of the Space Warrior that Dr Herland mentioned was far too high!

As for the possibility of failure, it didnt really matter for now! Each year, the USA did so many scientific research project that at the same time, a large number of failures has been cut off forever! No one could guarantee success before all the results have been achieved.

If anybody could say that they were 100% successful throughout their life, they would definitely become the emperor of the world! This was also why the Major let Dr Herland say anything he wanted even though the Major had a feeling that Dr Herland wasnt completely honest!

He would let Dr Herland do whatever it was that he needed to do, and when the result wasnt something that the military really desired, Dr Herland would be done! To put it bluntly, it was just a trap to satisfy the Majors curiosity, and the end result wasnt really that important for him.

If it ended up in success, he would get the credits, and if it ended up in failure, Dr Herland would surely be the scapegoat!

Unbeknown to the general and Dr Herland, the astronauts in Life One Spacecraft originally took 4 samples of this Black Sludge lifeforms, but Dr Herlands lab only received three samples. The question was, where the last samples could be?

In New York Airport, a young couple returned from their trip to Malaysia with their ten-year-old daughter. Everything seemed to be normal, but when the little girl returned to her room, her eyes turned black in a flash, but as quick as it came, it disappeared again!

Dios trip to Hongkong was fruitful, at least from Dios perspective, as he bought so many interesting gadgets. Wanda was very happy with her gift, and thus Dio and Wanda spent a lot of time cramped inside their room. Had it not for Tchallas notice that the Academic Exchange Program has come to an end, Dio and Wanda would still stay in their room.

Are we gonna go soon? Scott said with a sad expression as he wanted to sneak out and meet with his daughter once more. He was a little frustrated as it seemed no one had a shackle to New York like him. Everyone could just go anywhere they want and start everything fresh, whereas Scotts love for his daughter refrained him from doing so.

Well, you still have your woman, dont you? Make an arrangement with her too, dont be a prude! Dio said annoyedly. Hope Van Dyne is a great woman, and Dio was a little bit annoyed that Scott didnt really consider her at all even though he knew that it wasnt fair to compare a woman that he met not long ago with his baby girl.

Scott had this awkward smile on his face as he felt guilty forgetting Hope just like that. In addition, he couldnt endanger his daughter too much as his daughters home was being observed by the CIA at all times in case he came back there.

Although Dio had brought Tonys Black Box Device to Shuri, and she cleverly turned it into a super-strong signal jammer, it wouldnt be wise to challenge the CIA too often.

Dio must say that Shuri was really something else. She could hold her own against such bright people like Stark, Hank Pym, Bruce Banner and others!

By the way, how is your research going? Did you make any progress? Dio asked as he suddenly remembered that he never contacted Eva again for months.

Dont go there, buster! She is a patient, sure, but she doesnt understand anything we are going through! She just screams at us every day, rambling about progress and whatnot! Look at my eyes! This is the eyes of a man who didnt get a good night of sleep! Scott shouted annoyedly.

This was the truth as Scott and Hope were constantly woken at night by Evas scream. Although Eva was more stable now, it wouldnt change much if she couldnt enjoy a normal life! She still had her phasing ability, and because of that, she couldnt touch anyone if she failed to control her power. But, fortunately, she wasnt in any danger right now.

If Bill werent there to act as a mediator, Hope and Eva would be at each others throat every day! But it was understandable on Evas part as she suffered unimaginable pain each and every day before Janet returned.

A scientific research would take time. Furthermore, it was a Quantum Field subject, one of the hardest subjects to research on a scientific platform! But still, the research was undergone. Therefore Scott mustve made progress by now! Dio noticed it when Scott seemed to be able to shrink to quantum level recently.

After listening to Scotts rant, Dio nodded his head understandably and didnt say anything at that. Dio knew that Hank Pym, with Hope, Scott, and Bill helping, was the best team he could ask for Quantum Field research!

For now, Dio knew that his help wasnt needed. Although he knew what Scott needed to do, he had to keep a few cards up his sleeve. It never hurt to play as safe as possible!
