Chapter 1912: Source of Confidence

It was also right at this moment that another rumbling boom rang out in the distance, and dazzling silver light exploded in the sky as a projection of a giant silver dragon appeared in mid-air. The projection stretched for several kilometers, and within it, purplish-golden light was gathering and scattering over and over again amid a string of sharp cries.

Meanwhile, Tang Wulin plummeted onto the ground as a ball of golden light, creating a massive crater with a diameter in excess of 100 meters.

Golden light was surging around his body, but his aura was on a rapid decline.

Unleashing Unpredictable Storm followed by Dragon Emperor Fall of the godly level had proven to be extremely taxing for him, and even with the support of his Sea God's Trident, the core of his being had been shaken slightly.

However, he had no time to assess his own condition as he hurriedly searched for Gu Yuena's aura.

Thankfully, even though her aura had also declined significantly, it still existed.

Thus, four abyssal rulers, including the Fierce Sovereign, had fallen.

Following those two clashes of the godly level, the entire sky had been transformed into a lethal region, and both the human camp and abyssal camp were forced to descend back onto the ground.

Gu Yuena was currently in a rather sorry state. She had also smashed a huge crater into the ground, and there was an extremely fierce elemental storm raging around her, making it impossible for anyone to approach her.

Large patches of her four-word battle armor had been charred black, and her silver hair was completely disheveled; there were even some parts of her hair that had taken on exaggerated curls. Her face was very pale, and blood was trickling down from the corner of her lips.

That bolt of tribulation lightning was far too powerful, and Gu Yuena didn't possess a special soul spirit like the Infernal Lightning Vine, so she could only rely on herself to withstand the lightning strike. However, all of this had clearly been worth it; through their combined efforts, the Fierce Sovereign had been slain by Tang Wulin.

All of this had happened in a very short time, and in the eyes of the spectators, it seemed that the Fierce Sovereign hadn't even unleashed much of his power before he was killed.

Only those at or above the Titled Douluo level could get an inkling of just how perilous and breathtaking that clash had been.

This was truly a battle of the godly level!

Far away, in the main control center, Yu Guanzhi was looking on with tightly clenched fists. He finally understood why Tang Wulin was so confident; who could've imagined that he and Gu Yuena would both have the ability to temporarily elevate themselves to the godly level?

Gu Yuena seemed to have expended quite a heavy price in exchange for this temporary ascension, but Tang Wulin didn't seem to have been affected much at all.

As expected, this world really did belong to the younger generation. Before this day, how many years had it been since a human had last made a breakthrough to that level? The fact that they were able to forcibly elevate themselves to that level without having to sacrifice their own lives like Guan Yue meant that if the Divine Realm still existed, they would've both already attained godhood!

All of a sudden, Demon Sovereign wasn't that terrifying anymore. The twin dragon kings were the true hopes of the human race, and they were going to write a new legend in the history of the Douluo Continent.

Right at this moment, a vast expanse of purplish-golden light suddenly erupted into the heavens, and compared with before, an extra hint of insanity had crept into this purplish-golden aura.

Tang Wulin stood up from the crater in the ground and flapped his wings as he rose up into the sky again.

Immediately thereafter, a streak of silver light also rose up into the air to meet him.

However, Shrek's Six Monsters and all of the remaining abyssal emperors remained on the ground.

Everyone knew that this battle was entering its final moments, and that the ultimate outcome could only be decided by the trio in the sky.

They were already at a level far beyond everyone else, and the final clash was about to begin!

Demon Sovereign's hair was also a little disheveled, but the wound on her waist was already completely healed. As a true god, her regenerative abilities far exceeded those of a normal human.

"I didn't think that you two would be capable of this. Since when was there a god in the Spirit Pagoda? If I'm not mistaken, you should've already reached the godly level long ago, and you're only unable to use your godly powers due to the restrictions of this plane, right?"

Demon Sovereign was speaking to Gu Yuena, but Gu Yuena merely looked back at her in silence.

Demon Sovereign then turned to Tang Wulin. "Tang San really does love his son. The Sea God's Trident can temporarily elevate you to the godly level and even protect you from heavenly tribulation, but do you really think this will be enough to defeat me?"

"Where does your confidence come from, Demon Sovereign?" Tang Wulin asked.

Demon Sovereign smiled, and replied, "You should ask your little girlfriend that question; she should be well aware of the disparity between a true god and someone who's only able to attain temporary godhood. Also, how many more times will you two be able to pull off that temporary ascension? Even if you can replicate the feat a few more times, I'm still a true god, and there's no way you'll be able to kill me, so in the end, there can only be one outcome. You two are not true gods in the end, whereas I have truly defied the natural order using the Blood River Godslayer Array.

"I am essentially an independent entity from this world, so the power of the plane won't be able to affect me. In this world, I am the only true god!"

Tang Wulin exchanged a glance with Gu Yuena before turning his gaze back to Demon Sovereign. "Let's end this; it's about time all of this draws to a conclusion."

He reached his left hand toward Gu Yuena as he spoke, and Gu Yuena transferred her Silver Dragon Spear into her left hand before sliding her right hand into Tang Wulin's grasp.

The two exchanged a glance, and there was no need for any words.

In the next instant, golden and silver light erupted from their bodies, and the spectating Cao Dezhi and Zang Xin were alarmed to see this.

"Wulin, stop!" Cao Dezhi yelled in an urgent voice.

However, it was too late. Right as Tang Wulin and Gu Yuena's hands made contact with one another, the golden and silver light had already erupted into the sky.

A giant golden dragon projection emerged behind Tang Wulin. The dragon's entire body was covered in radiant golden scales, and its crimson eyes looked down on all living beings as if they were mere ants.

In the face of this indomitable aura and scorching blood essence fluctuations, even Demon Sovereign couldn't help but furrow her brows slightly.

Meanwhile, a giant silver dragon had emerged behind Gu Yuena.

Compared with the golden dragon's angular rhomboid scales, the silver dragon's circular scales gave it a more gentle and delicate appearance.

Radiant silver light was emanating from its body, and its purple eyes were filled with wisdom.

The Golden Dragon King embodied the Dragon God's insanity and negative emotions, while the Silver Dragon King embodied wisdom and control, as well as positive emotions.

The two of them rose up into the air in unison, and they complemented one another to perfection. As they were circling around in mid-air, their golden and silver radiance began to fuse as one, and a peculiar change was starting to take place.

Red, orange, yellow, green, azure, blue, purple, black, and white light began to revolve around the two giant dragons, as well as Tang Wulin and Gu Yuena, giving them an ethereal and mystical appearance.

Cao Dezhi was about to rush onto the battlefield when Zang Xin grabbed onto his arm with a grim expression. "It's too late."

The two of them exchanged a glance, and both of them could see their own concern mirrored in each other's eyes.

In contrast, all of the other humans present were stunned and elated by this development.

They finally understood why Tang Wulin had been so confident earlier.

Who could've imagined that the Sea God's Pavilion Master and Tang Sect Master would have a soul fusion skill with the Spirit Pagoda Chairwoman?
