"See, you do have an idea after all, your highness," Eureka answered.
"So your words back when we were in the forest was referring to the future," Yukimura said this time.
"A little," she replied vaguely.
"Do you want to elaborate that?" Yukimura asked.
"Parallel worlds."
"What about it?"
"The future of the other parallel worlds, will become the future of this if we don't do something about it now."
"What happened to their future?"
"Destruction, never ending war, death, in any way you put it," Eureka replied, as if seeing the scene she was talking about once again.
"Are there other futures?" Akihiro asked this time.
"Only a few left including this era, it's future is still unwritten but if the enemies win again then there's no future for it either."
"Then you came from a parallel world's future to save this one, but you're also from this place?" Akihiro asked once again.
"Yes I am, I was born here, your highness," Eureka replied not looking at any of them.
"Then have you met your parents?" Yukimura asked it this time.
They were talking about this before Eureka arrived awhile ago, she told them she had connection in this kingdom. But if that's the case then does that mean she has her family in here? That was the question they had when she arrived.
"They are fine," she answered looking away.
"What do you mean by that? Did they knew your back?"
"They are better off, not knowing of me, your highness. They'd live a better life not knowing I am here."
She was then startled by Akihiro's next movement, he walked closer to her and pat her head.
"No parent would be fine after losing a child or children. No matter how long it has been, no parent will ever forget the loss and will be able to move on from that situation."
"Don't look at me like that," Akihiro said after seeing Yukimura's eyes.
"I'm not looking at you in any particular way," Yukimura rebuked.
"You truly are good friends, sir, your highness," Eureka commented.
"Let's stop being sentimental, but do remember my words Eureka," Akihiro replied.
She just silently sat there.
"Anyway, next question, why Azusa?"
"That, I suppose sir, is a question that should be left unanswered."
Akihiro thought.
"Then those two whom you guys fought, are they related? Making those strings of aura appear using the water of the other is impossible. No one could do that," Yukimura asked.
"They are not, but the abilities are," Eureka replied while gritting her teeth.
The aura around her somehow dropped, it feels like she really wanna kill someone.
"I actually don't get that," Yukimura asked.
Clenching her fists, "They were taken."
"Taken?"
"One ability per person, that's like a universal rule. But why would someone have not just one, not just two but even more?"
"Are you telling us, that those abilities were taken….. from another?"
"Indeed, suction."
"Suction?"
"Just as the name imply. They've developed an ability known as Suction. Sucking away another persons ability."
"And the person whose ability was sucked?"
"Death," Eureka said in the coldest voice they ever heard from her.
They both take in a sharp breath, this information is just too much.
"And of course they sucked it while that person is alive."
"Just how devious are they?" Yukimura couldn't help but ask.
"That's how they developed themselves sir, so I suggest that you strengthen each and every knight out there. If we want to win the upcoming war we have to become far far stronger than we already are."
"And Azusa? What was her role?" Akihiro asked returning back to the question they had.
"Her ability is necessary for their final plan. A plan I cannot elaborate. But she is vital so please we have to protect her," Eureka replied.
"We never intended for her to be taken that easily either, now that we know she's being targeted then we will do our utmost to protect her. That is the only way we could repay Leo," Yukimura replied.
"I guess we should leave everything to these for now, you pretty much explained to us everything that's going on," Akihiro said standing up.
"But since they started moving, we have to move up all plans as well your highness," Eureka replied not standing up.
"What do you mean?" Yukimura asked, seeing as she didn't stand.
"Archic Kingdom."
Akihiro stopped on his tracks, and slowly looked back on her.
"Basing it on your reaction, despite me telling you about her, you were not planning to go to her are you, your highness?" Eureka asked facing him.
"That's… no, I don't want to involve her any longer. She can have a peaceful life if she don't return here," he replied thinking back to their times together.
"A war is upcoming and that also means no matter how you put it she will get involve. The future I'm talking about was not just the future of this kingdom but that of the whole world."
"I see, in the end. Even until the end I still couldn't protect her," Akihiro replied remorsefully.
"Letting her join, letting her fight, is a way of protecting her your highness. Not everyone wanted to just be left behind and do nothing, to just wait for their love one to come home. Isn't that the reason why she left 20 years ago?"
"Then we shall set off to Archic kingdom as soon as possible."
"Wait, wait, what are the two of you talking about?" Yukimura b.u.t.t in after listening to their conversation.
"It's Haruka, Haruka is alive remember?" Akihiro answered.
"Ah, that time?"

*END OF FLASHBACK*
"Archic Kingdom? She's there?" Yukimura asked astonished.
Eureka sighed and looked at Akihiro.
"Fine I'll explain," Akihiro seeing her reaction, he knows she has no intention of explaining it the second time.
"You see," he started.
As the story goes, Yukimura's face had changed emotion a few times, until shock was plastered on it.
"A TRAITOR!!" Yukimura exclaimed after the whole story.
Eureka who was close by couldn't help but to cover her ears.
"Will you pipe it down?" Akihiro rebuked.
"We're in the inner hall, no one can hear us outside," Yukimura answered back.
"Yeah, no one can hear you outside, but that doesn't mean we can't hear you. Do you plan to destroy our ears?" Akihiro replied.
"Don't be so exaggerated, that shout wouldn't even hurt a fly," Yukimura retorted.
"So you are comparing your king in a fly now, just how bold of you sir head knight."
"In whose mouth did you hear that came from, your highness?"
"Is-"
"ENOUGH!!" this time it was Eureka who shouted.
That's when they remembered that they were not alone in the room.
"If you're going to bicker with each other, do so when you're alone. *sighs* You truly don't act like grown ups."
Both of their faces flashed red hearing this from someone who could be considered their daughter.
"*coughs* Anyway, have you found who it was?" Yukimura seriously asked.
"Not yet, I tasked Dai to look into it, but still there's no result."
"Then," Yukimura looked at Eureka, Akihiro followed and looked at her as well.
"Don't look at me like that, I have no idea who it was," Eureka replied feeling their stares.
"Just trying," Yukimura defended.
"And, one more," Eureka stared at them and said.
*****
"Future," Yukimura sighed after Eureka left.
"Just how much more information are we supposed to know?" Akihiro sighed as well.
"Come on, we can't be like this, remember her last words right before she left," Yukimura pulled the two of them back to reality.
*FLASHBACK*
"Just as I said awhile ago, don't focus on the future, but the present instead. If you look too far ahead, you might end up missing what's in front of you," Eureka turned to look at them just as she was about to leave the room.
*END OF FLASHBACK*
"Talking with her feels like, I'm talking to someone who is of the same age as we are," Akihiro commented as the two of them left the inner hall.
"She's too mature for her age, or to be more precise. It seems that her circ.u.mstances before she came here forced her to mature," Yukimura answered.
"Just how much had she endured to be here? How much did she see? How much more does she know?"
"It's time for us to stop thinking about that, we're outside now your highness."
That's right. They have no idea who their enemies are. Talking about what Eureka told them, or even who Eureka is will just bring them danger. They had to act like they still have no idea of what's going on in order to keep this so called peace they have, longer.
