"I'd like that as well." He cupped his hand over her belly. "I'm not sure how it works with us now. Before, you'd go into what we would call heat, and then you'd get pregnant that way. It would happen several times a year, but only once after we have our first child."

"We need only to decide that we want one." He picked her up in his arms. "Is this a yes? Do you want a baby as well?"

"Oh yeah, I want a child with you. And as many as you want." He carried her out of the room and up the stairs. "I just hope your father left the bed where it was. I'd hate to have to go looking for it at a time like this."

She was still giggling when they entered. Yes, her father had fixed their room, but the bed, a bigger and thicker one, was right near the door. Hawk dumped her on it, then started to strip her down. Life with this man was never going to be boring.
