Bai Yaoyao listened and gave Yun Bilu her full attention. It brought her great comfort to have Bilu by her side in her saddest moments. At least she wasn't alone and lonely.

When Yun Bilu talked about Huang Yize, she would let out conflicted expressions in one and a smile in another.

"Elder Sister Yaoyao, you have no idea how cold he is. He's wouldn't even bother looking at me. I would get angry, of course."

Bai Yaoyao's eyes shone.

Was Bilu really the one who pursued this man?

Because she was interested, not to mention that it reminded her of herself when she was younger, she asked, "Why did you get angry? He's just used to being indifferent. Aside from the fact that he ignores you, you guys got to know each other because of these fights?"

Yun Bilu thought about it for a moment before replying, "At first, I was only focused on studying hard for my future business, so I can have the capability to protect my Elder Sister. I did not think about love at all. The first time I met him, I b.u.mped into him because I was distracted. Since I found him instead of the professor, I stopped him to ask. In the end, he told me that the way I was trying to catch his attention was too typical and predictable and left without even answering my question."

Bai Yaoyao's eyes shone. "What happened after that?"

"Oh, I got so angry. I found out that he was that Huang Yize who's popular with girls. Once I realized that, along with how the girls always talked about him, I would think about him unconsciously, and somehow, that impression stuck on."

"Because of that, you think you fell in love with him and pursued him?"

Yun Bilu pouted. "Elder Sister Yaoyao, I'm not that shallow to like someone just because everyone does. I only discovered his good points later on. His accomplishments and his management of school affairs impressed me. Even if I thought of him as a hateful person, his abilities were something that couldn't be overlooked. There was once a debate compet.i.tion, and we were both competing. Those intense and insightful debates made me feel that I finally found an opponent for the first time, and then I had this weird feeling in my heart. Also, I noticed this glint in his eyes that really attracted me. It's like his eyes were swallowing my entire being."

Bai Yaoyao felt that something was off. "Bilu, are you trying to say that you guys got together only after you pursued him for a long time?" Why did she feel that there was something odd about this situation? It seemed like Yun Bilu was the cute little sheep while Huang Yize was the big black wolf and not the other way around.

Yun Bilu nodded. "You got that right. Elder Sister Yaoyao, what's wrong?"

"Well, it's just that you chased after him for so long. Did he say anything that made you sad during that time?" Bai Yaoyao thought that she was the same as Yun Bilu and yet so different at the same time.

"Nope, he didn't. He was just very cold and didn't talk much to me. As for hurtful words? There really wasn't any." Yun Bilu pondered about it for a while. Other than being quiet and indifferent, there weren't any major problems with Huang Yize.

Bai Yaoyao's heart sighed. Yun Bilu was really too dense and simple-minded. From the point of view of outsiders, Huang Yize probably liked her even before that, but the fact that he didn't give in and date her right away showed that he had other concerns to consider?

Just thinking about it hurt her head.

"Go on. What happened next? I'm really curious."

Yun Bilu continued where she left off, smiling and frowning from time to time.

Downstairs, Huang Yize could hear the laughter coming from the second floor. He shook his head resignedly.

He had no idea how this girl came to have such a lively character.
