After successfully knocking Xie Limo out, Xie Liu heaved a sigh of relief . When he was executing that action, he felt extremely nervous and anxious .

Who was Young Master Xie? He wielded control over everyone . His capability and reflexes were the most outstanding, and because of that, Xie Liu didn't dare to reveal a hint of his plan .

The only reason why he succeeded was that Young Master Xie had expended all his effort on Young Madam . In addition to that, Young Master Xie had been fatigued and drained for a long time . All in all, he felt relieved . He would rather be punished by Young Master Xie when he regained consciousness than see him put up a strong front .

As one of his subordinates, it was quite unbearable to watch him do this to himself . Seeing how much pain Young Master Xie was in, they blamed themselves for not being able to share his burden .

He bowed courteously to Xie Limo and stepped forward to pull him up . “Young Master Xie, I know I have offended you, but this is the only way where you can get some rest . You can punish me in any way you like once you wake up . ” As he spoke, he lifted Xie Limo and laid him down on the bed beside Yun Bixue .

In fact, this didn't go against Young Master Xie's wishes . Regardless of who woke up first, they would be able to see each other .

After this, Xie Liu went downstairs and instructed the kitchen staff to prepare a meal every hour . This would guarantee that Young Master Xie and Yun Bixue would have a warm meal once they woke up .

Yun Bixue slept deeply . In her sleep, she dreamed of many different scenarios . There were those from her childhood, some from her university days, and even those after her graduation .

Some were happy and sweet, while others were sad and painful . With knitted brows, she was uneasy throughout her sleep, as though a huge fire with intense flames burned before her eyes .

However, she could seemingly feel something comforting beside her . It felt safe and warm, and she kept leaning towards its source . She felt that the closer she got, the faster the pain kept on dwindling . The fire had gradually ceased as well . She dreamed of Xie Limo, and in this dream, they were walking in a sea of flowers .

She also dreamed of sweet scenes, and she even dreamed of their wedding ceremony… While she was dreaming, the corners of her lips turned up into a pleasant curve .

After six hours, Xie Limo regained his consciousness . Even after Xie Liu had knocked him out, his sleep was just light . Perhaps it was because of his constant worry and yearning for Yun Bixue that made him wake up in less than a day .

He turned his head sideways and looked at his wife, who was still safe beside him . Once he saw her, he sighed in relief .

Indeed, he had recovered some of his spirit and strength as he was no longer as frail and glum as before .

He stepped out of the bedroom and looked at the guards outside . He asked coldly, “Where is Xie Liu?”

“Young Master Xie, Xie Liu said that he'll personally keep an eye on those n.o.ble families . He had arranged for his subordinates to handle this and said that he will be restless if he didn't do it himself . ”

Xie Limo's cold aura was palpable . “Anything else? What else did he say?”

Some of them didn't know what was going on, but after noticing Young Master Xie's dark aura, they wondered if Xie Liu could have done something .  Did he do something wrong? “Young Master Xie, Xie Liu said that when Young Madam wakes up and sees you freshened up, you will—”

“I will what?” Despite Xie Limo's elegant smile, his subordinates thought that Young Master Xie was the most frightening when he behaved like that .

“You will think that what he did was right . ”

Xie Limo's gaze wavered . “When he returns, get him to see me immediately . ” The moment he was reminded of Yun Bixue, the anger burning in his heart had quelled significantly .

He walked back into the bedroom and entered the bathroom . Looking at his reflection in the mirror, he noticed that he looked far from his usual self—his stubble had grown . Despite this, everyone still thought that he was gorgeous and impressive . However, Xie Limo wasn't satisfied as he thought that he should be presentable and show his best appearance to his wife .

He didn't dare to waste too much time . He wanted that the first thing she would see when she woke up would be him, that was why he didn't want her eyes to show any hint of disappointment .
