When it was almost time for dinner, Xie Limo received a call. “Deputy Xie, something happened to Her Highness, and she was sent to the hospital. She says that she wishes to see you.”

Xie Limo's expression stiffened, and he frowned. “The doctors would take care of her. I'm on leave right now.”

“But Deputy Xie, the person who the princess wishes to see is you.”

Xie Limo's expression turned icy as he said in a cold tone, “If it's anything about the state affairs, she can talk to you about it, and you can tell me tomorrow when I go to work. If it's anything personal, I can't leave. My wife is unwell, so I need to take care of her.”
