Looking at his face, there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with him.

Yun Bixue narrowed her eyes and grabbed Xie Limo's hand opposite hers as she said, "Limo, quick, look. Isn't that An Yexuan? He's actually fine now. Wasn't he in hiding before this? I still thought that he was devoted to Chu Fei'er. Looks like it was nothing much since he already has another woman by his side now!"

Xie Limo looked up from the menu and glanced in the direction Yun Bixue was pointing at. He saw An Yexuan walking together with a lady.

He narrowed his eyes as he explained, "That woman is not just anyone. She's Miss Yuan, Yuan Shuangrui."

Yun Bixue took a closer look and memorized the face of that woman in her mind. "The An and Yuan family are indeed in cahoots with each other!"

She had no good feelings about the Yuan family. She had heard from Qin Huailing about how he met with a series of misfortunes in the past. His leg injury, coupled with the issues in the Qin family, made Yuan Shuangrui disappear from his life from then on. The Yuan family cast him aside without a second thought. Furthermore, it was very likely that the Yuan family had a hand in those things that had happened to him.

Sensing the anger in Yun Bixue's tone, Xie Limo replied gently, "Are you feeling indignant for Qin Huailing?"

Yun Bixue lowered her head and stirred the drink in her cup as she replied, "I just don't understand how a young lady could be so ruthless. The two of them were so sweet to each other, yet she could easily dump him after he went through such drastic changes in his life. It would be nice even if she could just say a few words of comfort and encouragement to him to make him happy, at least it wouldn't make a young man feel so alone and lonely!"

Xie Limo stretched out his hand and gently patted Yun Bixue's back. "If I told you the Yuan family was one of the culprits who had harmed Qin Huailing, would you be even more angry?"

Yun Bixue almost knocked over the drink in her cup. She widened her eyes and replied, "How is that possible?"

Xie Limo smoothened her frown and replied in a low voice, "It's true. I found it out, and Qin Huailing had suspected this long ago. It was only later on that we confirmed that it really happened."

Yun Bixue was shocked, and her heart felt really uncomfortable. She wanted to believe in the beautiful love between a young couple. How could a young girl that was merely fifteen or sixteen years old be so callous?

Seeing Yun Bixue's expression, Xie Limo explained, "Not everyone is as kindhearted as you. You must know that in n.o.ble families, love is something that can be manipulated. Why else would the young mistress of the Yuan family get together with the young master of the Qin family? One was from the capital, while the other was from Ning An City.
