1999 Chapter 1999: Feng Yue Came To Stay Over

However, she still needed to pay the compensation to Angelica Ruston for her action. It was not her who going to pay but her mother. Her mother had no idea that she was stalking Dian Shu Xian. Her mother thought she went to work since she went out in the morning like others. Well, she did have work. It was part-time work at the convenience store near the research centre. Yu Qi went to work as usual. After that, she went to the research centre. Later, at night, she entered Sere to do some experiments on the blood that she took from the kidnapper. It seemed those men had been through genetic experiments which changed their structure body. Not to mention, they used some kind of drug to enhance the result. To be honest, Yu Qi was impressed with the result. However, she knew there were a lot of people involved in the experiments who had gone during the experiment.

"Master, someone is outside the house. That person was knocking on the door." Bo Ya informed Yu Qi.

"Who?" Yu Qi asked.

There was no way it was Long Hui. If it was him, he would just come in by himself since the door could be unlocked by his fingerprint. Since that person could reach this floor, meaning they had the pa.s.s. Only certain people had them because Yu Qi did not hand them out to others.

"It is Feng Yue, Master's friend." Bo Ya stated.

"Her? Why is she here?" Yu Qi cleaned up everything and stored it.

"I think she called you earlier. But you are immersed in your experiment, so you ignored it." Bo Ya said.

"Oh... I will go out first then." Yu Qi left Sere with Aoi.

She went straight to the door. The ringing bell and the knocking still could be heard. She opened the door and saw it was indeed Feng Yue.

"What are you going here?" Yu Qi asked.

Yu Qi could see the luggage at Feng Yue's side. Feng Yue barged into Yu Qi's house with her luggage. Yu Qi closed the door. "I want to stay here for a few nights." Feng Yue said after she sat on the sofa.

"What? Why?" Yu Qi asked.

"Nothing." Feng Yue said.

Seeing Feng Yue was not ready to talk to her, Yu Qi did not force her. "Okay. You can sleep in the room over there." Yu Qi said.

Feng Yue stood up and hugged Yu Qi. "Thank you, Yu Qi." She smiled and went to the room.

Feng Yue probably faced something. She wanted to stay away from everyone and everything. So, she came to Yu Qi. Yu Qi would wait for Feng Yue to be ready to tell her about the matter. Long Hui went on a mission. So, he would not go back for a few days. "Yue, have you eaten yet? If you don't, I will cook something for you." Yu Qi asked from outside. "No." Feng Yue answered.

Since Feng Yue did not want it, Yu Qi went to her room to sleep. The next morning, Yu Qi woke up and cooked the breakfast. She went to knock on the door where Feng Yue stayed. "Yue, I cook breakfast. Come out and eat it." Yu Qi said. Yu Qi heard the door being opened and saw Feng Yue coming out. Her face was not looking so good. They went to the kitchen. Yu Qi glanced at Feng Yue who chewed the food. "Eat the food. I need to go to work first." Yu Qi said when she saw the clock. "Hmm... Be careful." Feng Yue nodded.

Yu Qi went to the hospital to work as usual. She was so busy in the morning. She had some time after 2 p.m. She was kind of worried about Feng Yue. She called Feng Yue. Feng Yue did not pick up even after the fourth ringing. She was about to give up when she heard someone answering the phone.

"Hmm... Yes?" Feng Yue's voice seemed to be hoa.r.s.e. "Are you okay? Have you eaten?" Yu Qi asked in worried.

"No... Not yet..." Feng Yue said.

"I have something you can eat in the fridge. Just heat it and it will be ready to be eaten." Yu Qi stated.

"Hmm.... I will eat when I want to eat." Feng Yue said.

Yu Qi ended the call. She could feel something seriously happening. She remembered she had saved Xia Zi Qie's contact information. She called Xia Zi Qie. Xia Zie Qie answered the call.

"Hi, is this Mr Xia Zi Qie?" Yu Qi asked.

"Yes... This is Miss Tang Yu Qi, am I right?" Xia Zi Qie asked back

"Yes... Well, I am calling you to inform you that Yue was staying at my place yesterday. I don't know what happened since she did not tell me. So, I am wondering if you have any idea about this matter." Yu Qi said.

"Can you let Yue stay at your place for a while?" Xia Zi Qie said.

"Yes... I don't mind. But what happened? Well, if you don't want to talk about it, it is okay." Yu Qi did not want Xia Zi Qie to think she was a busybody.
