Chapter 1989: Sparring With Zhu Shanggun

So, Yu Qi sat on the side watching the sparring. It was standard military combat. However, some of the soldiers did not meet the standard. Well, she could not say anything because these soldiers were still new. That was why they still needed practice.

"How is it, Miss Tang?" Zhu Shanggun come over and asked Yu Qi. Before waiting for Yu Qi to answer, she continued. "Oh, sorry. I don't think you will understand right." Yu Qi chuckled. Zhu Shanggun heard it. She felt like Yu Qi was mocking her. "Why does Miss Tang laugh?" Zhu Shanggun glanced. Yu Qi stood. "The one with the surname Mong, you should straighten your leg before throwing a punch. That will stabilise your stand during the punch." A soldier with the surname Mong followed the instruction and did as Yu Qi instructed. He would feel the body was very stable and his punch felt powerful.

Zhu Shanggun's expression changed a little. She made a small laugh.

"Just a little advice. Do you think you are that great?" Zhu Shanggun mocked Yu Qi directly.

"Oh... Do you want to know? Why don't you find out yourself? Do you want to spar with me?" Yu Qi offered.

"Are you sure?" Zhu Shanggun smiled. "Hmm..." Yu Qi nodded.

Since Yu Qi offered to beat her up, Zhu Shanggun would gladly accept that offer. Both of them jumped into the arena. Seeing Zhu Shanggun and Yu Qi walking in the middle, some of the soldiers walked away making some s.p.a.ce for them. "Miss Tang, are you sure you want to do this?" Zhu Shanggun asked for the last time.

"Hmm..." Yu Qi responded again. "Great." Zhu Shanggun stated.

Zhu Shanggun started moving heading to Yu Qi. She wanted to attack Yu Qi's face. She wanted to disfigure Yu Qi's face. She believed that Yu Qi's face was the reason why Long Hui loved Yu Qi. If she lost her face, she would be thrown by Long Hui. However, to her surprise, Yu Qi skilfully countered the attack. She was nervous for a moment. She attacked again. This time with her leg.

Yu Qi caught Zhu Shanggun's leg. She threw Zhu Shanggun's leg. Zhu Shanggun still did not give. She wanted to punch Yu Qi. However, Yu Qi caught Zhu Shanggun's hand. She grabbed Zhu Shamnggun's hand and threw it away by the shoulder. "Ahhh!" Zhu Shanggun shoutedground. When the impact occurred, Zhu Shanggun felt the pain. She felt like her "Are you okay?" Yu Qi looked down at Zhu Shanggun.

"You..." Zhu Shanggun was anger. "Call the doctor, right now." "Well, if you want, I can check your condition." Yu Qi offered herself. "No... I will not allow it." Zhu Shanggun gritted her teeth. A soldier came over and brought a soldier. However, this soldier wore a white jacket. He was a doctor. He was surprised to see Zhu Shanggun lying on the ground like that.

"What is going on here?" The doctor asked.

"We are sparring." Yu Qi stated.

The doctor nodded. He immediately checked on Zhu Shanggun's condition. He was confused. "Doctor, how is my condition?" Zhu Shanggun asked when she saw the doctor's expression. "Captain Zhu, are you sure you are in pain right now?" The doctor asked.

"Eh..." Zhu Shanggun also became confused.

The pain was gone. She did not feel anything anymore. She immediately stood up. Seriously, the pain was gone. But it was hurt like h.e.l.l just now.

Yu Qi who stood aside, had a faint smile on her lips. She did something to Zhu Shanggun just now when she grabbed Zhu Shanggun's hand. She stimulated Zhu Shanggun's sense of pain making Zhu Shanggun think that her pain was due to her body being thrown down by Yu Qi.

"Captain Zhu, I think we need to stop our sparring session here." Yu Qi stated. "Why?" Zhu Shanggun still did not embarra.s.s Yu Qi in front of the soldiers. "Well, since my fiance is here. We will leave now." Yu Qi said walking toward Long Hui. Zhu Shanggun saw Long Hui and surprised. "Brother Long..." Zhu Shanggun called Long Hui sweetly.

"Captain Zhu, you should call me by my t.i.tle, Colonel Long." Long Hui corrected it. Then, he looked at the new soldiers. "Practice the combat skill correctly. I will come and check you." "Yes... Yes..." The soldiers saluted.

"Let's go." Long Hui said to Yu Qi ignoring Zhu Shanggun. Zhu Shanggun gritted her teeth watching the couple leaving while holding hands. One day... One day... She would be Long Hui's woman. "She is watching you." Yu Qi said. She whom Yu Qi meant to Zhu Shanggun. "Ignore her." Long Hui said.

"I heard that she was transferred to the Capital City. Then, why is she here right now.?" Yu Qi asked.

"Hmm... Probably using her grandfather's connection to transfer here. Well... to be honest, it is my first time seeing her here, at the military ground." Long Hui explained. "Oh... Really? My Hui has a lot of charm. Not many could forget him." Yu Qi said.

Long Hui chuckled. "Hmm... Jealous?" He asked.

"Seeing her like that means she is still not giving up. She wants you to be hers." Yu Qi said. "Hmm... If something happens to me, I will be counting on you. You will save me." Long Hui joked.

"Hmm... Sure... Little lover." Yu Qi said.

Long Hui was stunned at first before he burst laughing. He did not expect to get a new name like Little Lover.
