Doesn't everybody love getting absolutely no sleep, because I had to deal with that s.h.i.+t last night. I couldn't even move with how hard she was squeezing me. I don't need as much sleep as humans do but...

There was also the fact that her nest was made up of entirely queen spider silk meaning it had great resistance, but the off chance that one of those b.a.s.t.a.r.ds popping up at me scares me.

Hey, I know have calmness at (SS) and I'm not particularly scared of spiders now, but they can still surprise the h.e.l.l out of me.

I have completely lost my sense of time with me being in this dungeon for G.o.d knows how long. I just hope it functions like they do in light novels where time inside here is faster than it is outside.

Considering that this is another isekai light novel, there are going to be cliche's everywhere like that one village thing stolen from Dungeon Seeker.

Hikari loosens her grip on me and I take a huge breath of air.

(Hikari) - "Did you sleep well?"

I look at her in the eyes and give her a -_- face.

(Alderam) - "No..."

The room temperature drops a few degrees as I say that.

(Hikari) - "Hmm, did I hear something wrong? How couldn't you sleep well next to me?"

(Alderam) - "Ya know what? I had a wonderful rest!"

I stop trembling as the room goes back to its normal temperature. She reminds me of Kus.h.i.+na from Naruto. s.h.i.+vers then go down my spine.

(Hikari) - "Then let us 'get to know each other' more!"

Then, without warning, she starts to drag me by my neck with her tail in a comedic anime way. You might be wondering, why aren't you using your human form to get away you dumba.s.s? It's because if I try to run or resist, she becomes more clingy.

I try communicating with Nightmare to help me out, but...

(*Nightmare*) - "I'm sorry, but she is scary as h.e.l.l and I don't want to get involved with you two lovebirds as she might kill me if I try to intervene."

*Flashback End*

(Alderam) - "Hikari, have you ever tried to leave this floor? I would imagine that it would get boring after a while.

(Hikari) - "I enjoy my floor as it is my home, but I can not leave. You had experienced the barrier placed near the door. I either have to die or be released by TheLegend27."

(Alderam) - "Who is this person?"

(Hikari) - "He is known as the Dragonborn or the hero of this land who was strong enough to subdue Alduin with his level only being at 81!"

I mentally facepalm. Of course, he is the Dragonborn that just happens to be at level 81. Being level 81 means that you had all of your stats maxed out at 100 unless you wanted to make pickpocketing legendary for the 15th time to increase your level further.

Hey Karen, is it possible to break the barrier with force if enough power is fired at it?

Answer: Theoretically yes, but you wouldn't be able to crack it at your current strength even with Hikari.

It's good that I don't plan to be at my highest strength any time soon. I guess I need to spend that time to be able to go to the next floor because I am not going to even attempt to harm or even kill Hikari.

My thoughts get interrupted when Hikari speaks.

(Hikari) - "Since we have known each other for a while now, I will show you my treasure collection."

What the f.u.c.k do you mean 'a while' it has been 2 days! The treasure doesn't sound too bad of an idea because I have a weird love of s.h.i.+ny things. The instincts of a dragon are so strange considering that their priorities consist of food, reproducing, and s.h.i.+ny things.

After a little while of her dragging me on the floor, we arrived at a large door which she promptly pushed open. What I saw in that room would make any dragon kill to obtain everything in there, but it was owned by one of the if not the deadliest dragon in existence currently.

I plan on taking that mantle from her after I get to my highest form. Hey, I'm not going to kill her, but I just plan on becoming stronger.

The contents of her treasury put Parthenia's to shame with gold, jewels, and silver all around as far as I can see. It is probably like a big-a.s.s item box considering that the room was bigger than the entire floor.

What surprised me the most was the giant life-sized diamond statue of her in the middle of the room. How the h.e.l.l did she manage to get that?

I quickly wipe the drool off of my face and I turn my head away in embarra.s.sment.

(Alderam) - "It's cool, I guess."

(*Nightmare*) - "Am I smelling a tsundere coming?"

(*Alderam*) - "f.u.c.k OFF YOU STUPID CAT!"

How the h.e.l.l am I going to survive here for 5 years if I can barely survive 2 days?

3rd Person P.O.V.

After those words were said, Alderam spent his 5 years with Hikari. Alderam kept pus.h.i.+ng the getting to know one better phrase to avoid complications.

He grew as his body was slowly but surely preparing for an evolution.

Meanwhile, Leo arrives at the dungeon clearing 20 floors with little difficulty due to the fact that Alderam cleared the bosses before he arrived.

Also, the cult heads to the front gates of the kingdom of Dawn to go through with their plan to destroy for their lord...

Alderam P.O.V.

After finis.h.i.+ng dinner, I went to our nest? It's confusing but just roll with it. I then hear a message I have been waiting for all this time.

Evolution is now possible as you have met the requirements of being level 100 and having a body suited for it.

"Evolve."

My body starts to change. I guess the options are gone considering how far I am down the darkness dragon path, but let's see what this has to offer. I wonder how badly this one is going to hurt considering the time.

Answer: You will not feel pain during this transformation as your body is now suited for it. However, you will be knocked out for 2 days for it to be complete.

I fall asleep...

Leo P.O.V.

d.a.m.nit, how far did this dragon go downward? I can't seem to feel his presence at all and I now have the darkness attribute in my body.

It has taken me a few months to get here, so he couldn't have gotten that far.

That little dragon probably got help from the dungeon master himself to get to the lower floors because there is no way that a child dragon who is only 6 years old could clear the bosses and the floors.

I just made my way to the 25th floor and I see again that there is no boss to be seen, but a village with weak presences. The only reason why the people thought it to be too dangerous was the bosses getting stronger.

(Leo) - "Hey you, have you seen a dragon around here? He is black and is on the small size for a dragon."

(Villager) - "Sorry, we haven't seen a dragon anywhere." He smiles and says. "Would you like to come to have dinner with us, you seem friendly."

I take a look at his status and see something interesting.

(Leo) - "You fool, do you think I will eat with a cannibal?"

As the villager hears this, he lunges at Leo with a knife hidden in his back pocket to which Leo moves his head slightly to the side to avoid it with a casual look on his face.

The next thing the villager knows, his hand is gone and then his head goes as well.

(Leo) - "Tch, pathetic, at least be somewhat capable."

I walk to the next floor...

Alderam P.O.V.

I slowly open my eyes to see a happy Hikari right in front of him.

(Hikari) - "I can't believe that you evolved into an ancient dragon!"

Before I even ask her she drags me to a large mirror and I look at myself to see 4 more sharp horns on my head flowing backward and golden lines running around my body going all the way to my tail with a black tattoo on the top of my head.

(Hikari) - "How do you feel?"

How do I feel? My body is radiating pure magic and I fully believe that I could destroy Leo with ease now.

(Karen) - Due to your evolution, your weakness to light has been nullified. You are now not weakened to the light attribute.

Very good, I will check my status in a little bit. There is something I need to take care of first.

(Alderam) - "Hikari, can you help me destroy the barrier going to the next floor, I need to continue."

Talk about bad-a.s.s! The wait was totally worth it, I feel like I just scored 1600 on the SAT.

(Hikari) - "You talked about your quest to kill the holy knight right?" She gives a small smile but hidden behind it was pure terror. "Who is he, let me do it for you!" She does a closed eye smile but I can tell there is even more rage behind this one.

Man, this woman has always been so scary, but I am going to need her help to destroy this.

(Alderam) - "Please, I need you to help me."

(Hikari) - "Fine, but as long as I get to go with you AND get to 'meet' your holy knight friend."

(Alderam) - "Alright, if I refuse this offer, we will both go back to being alone, so I will accept your offer."

We both walk over to where the door is and fire our strongest breath attacks which mine can now match hers. The barrier starts to crack and then shatters after around 10 seconds.

(Alderam) - "Let us go..."
