San Bao picked a snow globe for Qiao Dongliang. She even specially requested Qiao Dongliang to place it beside his bed. Coincidentally, there were various photographs of Zhai Sheng’s family of five placed on the bedside table of Qiao Dongliang.

Zhai Sheng had long pa.s.sed the keys of this house to Qiao Dongliang. This time, besides giving one set of the duplicate keys to Qiao Nan, Qiao Dongliang did not intend to give the keys to anyone else.

This was the only way that Qiao Dongliang would feel safe in this house. He could then display whatever he loved and cared about most in places according to his wishes. He did not need to worry that they would be touched or thrown away by others.

It was certainly very fast to travel from Ping Cheng to the capital via a flight.

Qiao Nan was carrying San Bao, who was having a cold, in her arms. Zhai Sheng carried Da Bao and San Bao with one hand each. When Qiao Nan was carrying San Bao and waiting for the luggage, Zhai Sheng carried Da Bao and Er Bao into his own family car before returning to fetch his wife and daughter.

The family of five was tired from traveling when they arrived home. Even the two adults felt tired, let alone the three children.

As soon as the door opened, Qiao Nan said, “Auntie, can I trouble you to bring us five cups of water? It’s time for San Bao to take her medicine.” When they boarded the plane, San Bao refused to take the medicine on the excuse that she did not feel well. She insisted to do so only when she arrived home.

They were finally home. Qiao Nan could not allow her daughter to escape from taking the medicine. Would her cold recover quickly if she did not take any medicine?

“San Bao needs to take medicine? What medicine? Is she unwell?” Miao Jing stood up anxiously. However, Zhai Hua, who was back in the house of her maternal family, was quicker in action. She s.n.a.t.c.hed San Bao from Qiao Nan’s arms. “San Bao, what is wrong? Are you having a fever?”

Qiao Nan changed her shoes and removed her jacket. “No fever. She’s having a runny nose and a slight cough.” After was.h.i.+ng her hands, she took the plain water from the auntie. Qiao Nan did not bother to drink first. She served her three children and made them feel comfortable first. “San Bao, we are home. You have to take medicine.”
