Chapter 345: Poison You to Death

"How did you know that I'm a G.o.dly doctor?" The G.o.dly doctor turned around and questioned her coldly. "Who sent you?"

Ning Shu hiccuped, then said, "I smelled the scent of herbs on you, so I called you G.o.dly doctor to be polite. After all, when one encounters some third-rate Jianghu swordsman, wouldn't one still address them as chivalrous hero to be polite? It's just a polite way of address, that's all."

The G.o.dly doctor was very good-looking, but he was seriously too cold and was like a moving iceberg.

The G.o.dly doctor simply glanced at her, then started walking faster to try and throw her off.

Ning Shu lifted her skirt to run after him. Even as she gasped for breath, she shouted, "G.o.dly Doctor, let's become friends!"

"Are you ill?" The G.o.dly doctor furrowed his brows.

"Do you have medicine?" Ning Shu sighed. "I just want to know whether there are any other ways to deal with someone that has taken an aphrodisiac aside from humping."

Ning Shu followed the G.o.dly doctor back to his house. His residence was much better than Wen Ruhua's. At the very least, his was a house made out of bamboo and was kept very clean. In front of the house was a neat medicinal field.

There were all sorts of herbs planted.

Ning Shu sighed in relief. There was finally a nice place to live.

The G.o.dly doctor walked into his house. Ning Shu made to follow, but he quickly closed the door, almost squis.h.i.+ng Ning Shu's nose.

Ning Shu was getting pretty cold. It was very uncomfortable to wear wet clothing, so she plopped herself down on the ground and started slapping on the door as she shouted, "Big Bro, can you give me an old garment or something? I want to get changed."

There was no sound from inside the house. The G.o.dly doctor was completely ignoring her, so she started banging on the door. "Bro, don't be like this. As long as every person lends a hand, there will be a brighter tomorrow. Can you lend me some clothes?"

"Scram." The G.o.dly doctor's voice was very cold. "If you don't leave now, I'll poison you to death."

How vicious!?

Ning Shu didn't dare to provoke a doctor that could save and kill with the same hands, so she left the forest and bought some hemp garments from some peasants before coming back to the bamboo house.

The G.o.dly doctor had already come out of the house and was currently checking on the herbs. Ning Shu hastily walked over to greet him and asked, "G.o.dly Doctor, have you eaten yet?"

The G.o.dly doctor glanced at her very coldly. "What did you come back for?"

Ning Shu said earnestly, "I want to learn medicine from you."

The G.o.dly doctor didn't seem to have heard her, so she repeated it louder. "I want to learn medicine from you!"

The G.o.dly doctor furrowed his brows. "Is there something wrong with your brain? Which village did you come from? I've said so before, without my permission, no one is allowed to approach this place. Do you want to be poisoned to death?"
