Li Na sneered as she could see the storm brewing in Lu Jianjun's dark eyes.

Does he hate Mei Xing or he doesn't? However, she still could not conclude or pinpoint it. But her instincts were alarming her.

"Okay, Mr. Lu, I'll be honest with you. But before answering your suspicions. Just to a.s.sure you as you did to me, so returning the favor let's be clear of this. You see this face?" Suddenly, Li Na pointed towards her face as she confidently asked him. Lu Jianjun frown slightly and Li Na smiled usually and stated, leaving no room for ambiguities. " This is who I am. You see my face, you know my name, And that's the truth."

She isn't lying? But he was impressed and don't want to or possibly can't deny her with that much of her confidence and determination she held into those pairs of gleaming eyes.

Marking her words, Lu Jianjun's expressions shadowed. As though he was trying to suppress his furor, his loose curled fist clenched together firmly. "Don't play word games with me. You think I can't see the person and mind behind the face."

" Aren't you an impatient one, Mr. Lu?"

Lu Jianjun didn't say anything. Why doesn't she just quit or give up? He envied, even after been cornered she isn't the easy one to surrender. But he was more concern for whatever was roasting in her brain.

Li Na took his silence as approval as she proceeded. "Okay, then? Since you know everything, I should just admit. You're right, I don't have amnesia, cause I never said it. And about having memories, I do have them and those aren't Li Na's...and sadly I can't share them with you but, probably I'm not the one you wish to 'kill', " She spoke freely and coolly as Lu Jianjun became more focused on her.

" You see, I never asked for your introduction. That means I know you already before we meet, right? So you're not a stranger for me." While saying so Li Na stretched out her sleeves, retreating her fingertips entirely into the sweater when he appeared to be reminiscing. She was a little nervous inwardly while covering her already hidden wrist tattoo which has his name embedded beautifully.

Concurrently, she also rushed her brain to revive their past engagements.

All this while, Lu Jianjun, and Li Na held intense eye contact as if they are lost into each other's eyes. After a while, they blinked mutually and lost the sight, breaking their stupor.

'Not even to Mei Xing.' Li Na's smile widened a little as Lu Jianjun's frown deepened.

Nope. There was no introduction between them. He knew her so does she knew him beforehand.
