Li Na was surprised but mostly p.i.s.sed off at Lu Jianjun when he just bluntly stated that she doesn't love Little Tiger like a fact. As if her asking him about the boy is just as faking her concern. Disturbed, Li Na was extremely unhappy with his words. They kind off hit on her soft spot feeling the hurt as if someone rejects the honest feelings roughly.

After all of her efforts and concerns. Is he blind? Either, he doesn't want to acknowledge her efforts behind all yesterday night's arrangements, she had prepared herself without anyone's help, just to welcome Little Tiger back with his favorite dinner? Isn't she staying back in this prejudiced atmosphere when she had millions of other reasons to flee away and go after her personal goals and family? She chose this child willingly. Wasn't all this evidence enough to prove her love? She wants to shout at him for bringing this issue now yet she couldn't say a word.

Li Na took a deep breath her sharpened eyes subduing the mounted fury. Right, Lu Jianjun had asked about her real intentions.

She replied. " If you don't know me, Mister Lu. Then, don't..." Li Na's tone sharp and curt her temperament slowly leveled down as she has controlled herself.

But Lu Jianjun was staring at her as if he didn't plan to hold back anything, and he can't take it anymore. " Then, what is your purpose behind all this activity? Last night, you wore that deep blue dress?"

Li Na frowned in confusion.

What's wrong with the blue dress? Does the dead Li Na also have some fetish over blue shade? That why he is a.s.sociating with her faking amnesia or he is tricking me into something.

"So, what? I intentionally chose that dress, because I like blue color," she replied doubting the real Li Na's preferences, her voice low and slow.

Lu Jianjun's eyes narrowed.

" And the variety of dishes you cooked. Was all that intentional too," he questioned to see Li Na's frown deepened.

He even has a problem with yesterday's menu. Exactly, What's the issue?

" Yes, it was intentional. I asked Lu Jun-hui about Little Tiger's favorite food during our jog. You can ask him."

" Are you sure those were the only dishes you cooked. Nothing of the charts.", Li Na thought over as she had cooked a variety of them which wasn't for Little Tiger. She didn't reply to his question as she doesn't know about Li Na's choice. Did we also share the same favorite food?

This must be a coincidence.

"Ok, What about the books you read." Lu Jianjun rubbed his forehead as he asked leaning back and closing his eyes knowing her reply very well, still hoping to hear something else:

" Books? " Yes, she had read the books to pa.s.s her boring time while recuperating from her sickness and a fractured leg. " I just ra..."

"Don't!" All of a sudden Lu Jianjun's hard tone rang in her ears as her eyes snapped at him.

" Don't say you just randomly picked those books and then you also generated the sudden interests to finish an entire book of thousand pages in two days, that too...without a.s.sociating to their previous Volumes. I don't think a person with amnesia could just skim through pages and still remembers clearly.", he paused mid-sentence. " And if I ask you a question on any concept, I'm sure you can easily answer it." his eyes opened to glare at her. " Without. any. confusion."

Li Na became speechless. Her soft eyes became intense.

Although during her digging into Li Na's stuff, she had thoughtfully picked up the books. And the ones she had picked up were only those books that are from Li Na's variety of book collection spectrum, mainly consisting of books on mathematics, architecture, science, literature, medicine, law, psychology and a few more distinct fields.

Because of that, Mei Xing couldn't guess Li Na's working field or her interests in major fields. Li Na was young and perhaps was in the middle of choosing a particular field before she died. As for Lu Jun-hui being her boss she has a.s.sumed that she might be just an intern or a part-time working student. So, it's obvious not knowing Li Na's actual interest, she would be picked a book related to herself, that is Mei Xing's field of interest, which could be or couldn't be totally irrelevant to Li Na's preferences.

Was it just a coincidence too? It has to be otherwise how... is going to explain her choices.

' Just when Li Na was freaking out inwardly, Butler Wu came holding a stray with a flowery tea set which had the beautiful and delicate blue flowers printed on white glossy ceramic made it look so beautiful and enchanting.

Instead of feeling pleased, Li Na's eyes were ultimately caught that dark blue color on the tea set. Simultaneously, Lu Jianjun also noticed the tea set as a corner of his lips wickedly raised in a slight curve. They both know what just happened.

Li Na shut her eyes and slouched back on the couch defeatedly. 'Is it also a coincidence or my bad fate?'

On a certain day, she had bluntly given her preference between the royal blue and golden color of the design on the tea set, during her random gossip and playing games like rapid-fire rounds with the maids, while them working so one asked about her teasets color design she would prefer having her tea in. Even though, Li Na had used it to trick them for her own learning about the outer world to make them talk more with her. But the fact that she had made her decision and answers without even blinking her eyes just adds the cherry on top that how decisive she is regarding her own likes and dislikes.
