"Onyx!!" called the man sitting in the chair.

Onyx snapped out of her daze.

Frustrated by just remembering the past event, the man motioned his hand towards Louis for his leave, and eagerly Louis stood up. Onyx caught the side glance and annoyance of her master as she charged her men to escort Louis out otherwise this man would die a tragic death without a proper reason. Nevertheless, Louis was still needed to keep a tab on Lu Jianjun whenever needed.

With the Onyx's single word, two guys came inside the room and tied up his hands and covering his eyes just like they began to drag him towards the door. When Louis was about to step out something clicked to Onyx as she suddenly asked him something she was doubtful and suspicious about from the start.

"Louis, Is there any girl staying in Vesallies manor?"

"Huh?Who?" Furrowing his brows, Louis promptly asked.

"Any girl named Li Na?" Onyx replied and indeed Louis remembered his last minute's peep talk with Lu Jianjun about a girl named Li Na. She couldn't stop herself from questioning that doubt though her question shocked her master.

Upon hearing Onyx's words, in a swift movement, the man's chair swung towards Onyx who was seated on the sofa to his left while facing the door, his face then quietly turned in door's direction wary enough to not reveal his darkened expressions to anyone.

Standing at the door, Louis was puzzled by her sudden question. He thought for a bit. "Yes, there is..." he trailed off as he stresses on remembering.

'There is a girl named Li Na who is soon going to be Lu Jianjun's wife.'

Onyx glanced at P intently as if saying yo him 'Did I told you she isn't dead. She just disappeared overnight and look where she is...'

Whereas Louis intently trailed off before he would unknowingly let the other details slip out his mouth as he specifically knows Lu Jianjun was planning to marry the girl they were talking about. It's Lu Jianjun's private matter as he can't afford his wrath upon him.

Louis now realized the seriousness of the matter and how gravely he was stuck between a rock and a cliff as the cherry on top, he actually helped in murdering the woman, he will think thousands of time even before provoking the opposite party.

Back then, the young Louis was studying aboard so he didn't know of their inner conspiracy or deals. Later on, his father has advised him not to ever mess with Warren and the Zhangs Empire as that Louis had probably done now.

Since it already has done then it is done! Louis was just at ease knowing she isn't someone related or known to Lu Jianjun. Still, Louis can't confront Lu Jianjun about this murder as it was hidden outwardly even he wouldn't have known this just an hour ago. However, he'll never turn against Lu Jianjun by spilling about his personal matters. He won't be able to stand that rivalry.

For anyone, it was groundless to doubt Onyxs maneuverings as it wasn't the first time a person with great backings was murdered or disappeared like thin air.

When seven years ago, the famous w.a.n.g Jing suddenly disappeared from the center of the world's stage for almost two years until Lu Jianjun turned the whole world upside down to find her. And, in a comparison between w.a.n.g Jing and Venus Smith, they both have an equally higher status and influential position yet Venus is an anonymous face and name for the world. It must have been easier to cover her vacant place. Rich people gone missing isn't something new.

But, Li Na?

What's her place in this? Where does she fit into all this? Is Li Na spying on Lu Jianjun for Onyx?

If they could anyhow place a spy near Lu Jianjun then they need not had to spend millions of dollars doing business with Louis. They know it very well doing that is equivalent to coveting disaster, sooner as they will only be providing Lu Jianjun clues and hints of their schemes. And Louis knew they won't repeat that same mistake again and again, at least not this time.

Onyx discarded and waved her hand to take Louis as she got to know about the person they were looking for half and a month all over the capital and whole city yet she couldn't find Li Na's corpse or her being alive.

Onyx was smiling while gazing at her master's expression of pure disbelief. "Finally, after weeks, I found your favorite and only beloved kitty. She's was in Versailles Manor that's why we couldn't locate her."

The man leaned back in his chair and closed his eyes. " Onyx, will you stop giving me more reasons to kill Lu Jianjun, I have piles of them. But, how were you so sure about Li Na? I know she won't go there."

" Well, You know that's the only place now, we can't breakthrough or place our spies. And there are many rumors in Glam Queen about Li Na's hookups and close relations.h.i.+p with Lu Jun-hui. So, I just made a random guess..."

"Lu Jun-hui?" his eyes flashed with murderous intent.

" Yes, Lu Jun-hui, Lu Jianjun's younger brother. If you say, we can unveil our battle with Lu Jianjun by chopping Lu Junhui's head off. It'll be a glorious act to gain Lu Jianjun's attention towards us. What do you say?" Onyx suggested filled with excitement and antic.i.p.ations. They have been hiding for too long now, one day they have to come out of the shadows and what could be more climactic and exciting than letting your enemy know about they've come back with a huge blow or damage for their opponent.

"Find out Lu Jun-hui's interest in Li Na? If they're in...then how far their relations.h.i.+p has gone?" he commanded his voice dangerously low.

"As you say.", she nodded. " Am I allowed to personally interrogate Li Na? You know that's the easiest way to controller her. Of course, only if you allow me to use hypnotism on her." Onyx sought his permission thoughtfully because she knows, he treated Li Na as his own belongings since she was around eleven years old little girl.

Silence fell on the room.

After a long time, She called out his name when the man didn't react, unnerved by his silence, "Kai!?"
