Chapter 59: You Will Never Rest In Peace

At a distance away from this cheerfulness and gaiety of Stygian's mansion. There was a hidden base from all eyes.

The stygian mansion itself was located in the outskirts region as this base was perfectly covered. Buried deep under the dense trees and bleak mountains, highly protected and secure through radar jamming signals, that even by using the satellite image mapping for observing this base, still, it was somewhat impossible to detect, making those high definition images completely blur and smudged.

To verify this hidden base one has to enter this deadly haunting forest, only to die, natural death or to be a meal of meat-eaters.

Walking through the empty pa.s.sage and in between the steel-like walls. Louis was sweating, terrified as his eyes were covered with a blindfold and ears stuffed with cotton b.a.l.l.s. His shallow breaths and heart were hammering so loudly as it was the only sound he could hear in this whole darkness along with the rustling of his own clothes while walking.

Now, he deeply regrets to voice his request. Did he dig his own grave?

On single gesture and, at any second Louis will be dead meat. As this is not a normal way in which guests or allies were treated.

'Is this how a visitor was taken to meet when they said Prince values his presence? By making them defenseless and vulnerable? Or it's my D-day?' Louis was so freaked out internally and felt pressured that he felt like he will pa.s.s out at any moment if this concealment continued any longer.

Louis doesn't why but his senses were weakened and multiple chills ran throughout his body as something untouched yet magnetic was dragging his hand and guiding him in certain directions like a magnet drew an iron piece. What thing is it? He couldn't feel any human presence around him.

Silent like an eagle, Onyx stood at a distance as her body and eyes were filled with coldness and an intent to kill arouse in her with the thought of 'the place', Prince hasn't left yet.

Nutcrack! Undeniably, being a psychiatrist she's well aware he's a nutcrack. But she must follow his orders and fulfill his every personal or public demand and follow the protocols.

Treating their guests like hostages. No, it wasn't like this before. At least, not before the death of Onyx's former master, this unusual custom was made by the young master.

Every single person that her young master wants to meet has to follow this protocol, no matter... who's that bigshot or celebrity he or she is. But there's rarely a few people young master likes to meet often.

Learning from her past mistake, Onyx scrutinized the man carefully, if by any chance Louis has some sort of mental ability to map the road in his mind as a certain someone did once. Anyhow, even if he has, still he won't be successful.

Onyx had done a huge mistake in the past by underestimating that person and resulting in their First Late Prince was executed brutally. So this time every person going to meet their new Prince was escorted by her personally.

After a while, Onyx gestured her men to take him inside and they released his blindfold and freed him entirely.

It took him a while adjusting to the bright fluorescent light in the room but the moment he saw where he was, his eyes widened in shock and terror. His breath stuck in his lungs at the sight of cruelly ripped off bodies with many loose st.i.tches on their skin. Buried in a huge ice slab those dead bodies stood straight like zombies before him. His feet tremble in fear as he stammered backward in fright.

"Oh my G.o.d..." he breathed out the words as the remorse smell entered his nostrils, Louis bends down and puked out all the wine, he drank previously.

"Hahaha..." Suddenly, the morgue room echoed with deadly laughter of a man giving Louis terrified gooseb.u.mps all over his body.

"So weak..." the man remarked amusedly contented to see Louis drained face.

Louis looked around terrified but he couldn't see him as man's voice rang throughout the room but felt as if he was sitting inside his mind and his laughter ringing his eardrums.

Just as Louis felt he was faint, the guard standing behind Louis stepped forwards and led him to the bathroom as a cleaner immediately cleaned the dirt. Just like in the past, guests, who visit this acquisition room vomit at first sight so it was nothing new for them.

Outside the gla.s.s cubicle of dead bodies, Underworld's Prince was sitting warily with a smirk on his devilishly handsome face. His solid amber eyes having a deep gold-copper tint, perfectly resembling a black cat with s.h.i.+mmering golden eyes which were exceptionally rare to find.

In that abnormally freezing and icy morgue room where a few dead bodies were tucked frozen into ice slabs, Onyx entered the outer chamber and saw his smirk as she shook her head.

"Why do you have to see him here? You know I hate this place." She voiced out her irritation as she expressed her newfound hatred for this room and sat down.

The chair twirled slightly to face the lady as the man said insolently. " I just wanted to show him what trophy we bought together, after all, I couldn't take without Louis's help. At least he should what a treasure we stole that night."

"I thought you adore this room, Don't you?" Onyx lowered her eyes as she replied.

"Uh-Huh, I used to but before you bought her. You know I hate her more than anything." Regardless of the fact, the dead bodies of men were tortured by her she was disheartened that she didn't get to torture the girl she hates to her core.

"She is dead, Onyx. Get over it! Does she still terrify you that much? " he asked her as his golden eyes narrowed sharply.

"I'm not scared of her, she owes me a favor. I wanted to kill her with my own bare hands and break her bones into millions of pieces... in the same way she discarded my arm. "Onyx looked over her left hand which was artificially fixed with many metal rods, screws, and pins as her bones were cracked mercilessly.

"You did her postmortem and whatever, you can. Are you not satisfied with that," he tilted his head to look at the morgue room.

Onyx only glanced at the huge ice slab with a female dead body whose eyeb.a.l.l.s were taken out leaving two black holes which once... had blazing fireb.a.l.l.s in them. Above those two holes, there were loosely binding st.i.tches visible to eyes on dead's forehead that was hardly sealing her skull crack through which Onyx has pulled out her raw brain to see what specialty it had, that she couldn't play with it through her hypnotism. that she healed so quickly from her torture as this woman was one of those few people, Onyx failed to hypnotized.

Suddenly, Onyx's lips raised in a sly smile seeing that angel face with fire like blazing eyes was rotten to death and there was no one to claim this dead body just like other bodies.

Onyx herself dissected 'her' body with her own hands, although Onyx wanted to do that when she was alive, still, 'her' death was more important than anything else for them.

Onyx could never forget how lethal was 'she'... yet always smiling without care.

For the first time in her life, Onyx failed to break someone's spirit. No matter what cruel method she used, mental torture, hypnotism, playing with 'her' most sensitive and painful part of 'her' memories. Even physical tortures, shock treatments or beating 'her' to near death. If Onyx could, she would have killed 'her' at that time but she wasn't allowed to. And for the once she regretted to obey orders as she saw this dead girl walking out of h.e.l.l, dragging her broken body... in front of her own eyes. Onyx couldn't do anything as she lay on the ground defeated and scattered with crushed bones. Once, 'She' escaped from her clutches they could never get a hold on...But it was like a dream come true to see her dead body.

A winners smirk appeared on Onyx's lips as she thought of her end result. 'Venus Smith, you will never...rest in peace. Ever.'
