Li Na obediently followed her already set daily routine. No complaints about daily exercise, long boring therapies, strict diet plans, all and without a demand. She even ate those sour dishes which taste worst than vinegar all this, just for the sole reason she needs to get wealthy.

During those days, the manor was peaceful and quiet like heaven. For days, she doesn't have a single encounter with anyone of the Lu brothers. Curious, where her boss and bosses boss went she asked the Old Butler Wu. The old gentleman told her about their respective busy schedules thus she didn't bother further and decided to explore more about Li Na herself for time being.

Inside her bedroom, Li Na started to dig out the doc.u.ments and files related to her. There was a bundle of papers and a lot of sealed and untouched boxes there's a lot of stuff.

Firstly, She sorted the important-looking files and also explore the books. Then she took the doc.u.ments as she was impatient to know only one thing which was troubling her from the start.

Sitting on the window sill of the bay window in the bedroom. Her bandaged leg crossed over the other and a cus.h.i.+on supporting her back and one on her thighs. She flipped some useless papers before taking a folder of important doc.u.ments. As soon as she read some official and ident.i.ty proof doc.u.ments, she sighed in relief. " Single. Good. She isn't married to anyone."

Her brows arched as she smirked finding another similarity between them. They have a similar English name. Not bad. But Why does Li Na needs an English name?

An hour pa.s.sed reading as she learned and grasped details about Li Na she can get through those doc.u.ments. Suddenly, she felt like someone is watching her. She reflexively turned to look outside and saw an open window of the West wing villa. Strange no one's there! She seems to notice a frame there. For a while, Li Na's eyes stared towards that particular opened window.

Someone was there!

After a few minutes, She turned back and resumed her reading but then froze. Someone is definitely staring at her. She looked

over but n.o.body's on the window. The window was behind and out of range of her side-eyes so she couldn't peek without turning her head.

She went to thinking, 'Hmm...Are we playing hide and seek? Then you know what I love to play!'

Li Na looked away from the window and began to focus on paper on her lap, she again felt the stare so she raised the paper face to face without turning to look outside and pretend to be reading. She waited and kept on staring ahead for a few seconds then suddenly turned around frightening her little stalker.

There seems to be a little stalker. She saw a little frame before the room went dark as someone immediately switched off the lights before she could properly see the person beside the window.

Knock, knock! A maid knocked on the open door while standing outside as she politely informed the girl. "Madam, the dinner is served."

"Hmm," Li Na hummed in response while staring at the dark window outside before she smiled at the girl stood there locking her hand in hand. Li Na had seen this maid running back and forth in both the villa occasionally.

"Hey, Who lives in that villa?" Li Na pointed towards the big house.

" Oh, West wing. It's Second Master's property." cheerfully answered the maid as her face flushed with a bashful smile.

Amused to catch the joy in the maid's voice, Li Na arched her brows as her expressions were like 'Why are you blus.h.i.+ng?'

Li Na got up to leave the room before startling the timid girl. "Is he married?"

"No," the maid's reply came within a fraction.

Li Na contains her laughter and choked the girl with another one. "Does he have a child?" Hearing that, the maid's expression turned the ugliest and awkward. She looked at Li Na sharply.

'Isn't she too blunt with her questions? Booris.h.!.+ Does she think everyone has a child before their marriage? Shameless woman.'

Gauging the maid's expressions, Li Na chuckled and shook her head. "Hey! No need to cuss me. I think I just saw a child there. That's why I asked!"

In an instant, the maid's expressions turned pale and scared as she shuttered to respond. "N-No, there's no child. Second Master doesn't have a c-child. He's single. Ha! " she laughed hollow covering her fright and quickly denied.

The maid was frightened because earlier Second Master Lu and Young Master Bai had given a strict lecture to all servant and warned them if anyone opened their mouths in front of Li Na or said a single word about Little Tiger, they will make sure that person will be sorry for the rest of their life. It doesn't matter intentional or unintentional. Lu Jun-hui and Bai Tian threatened everyone except Bulter Wu, cause they had to request that old man and he agreed.

Noticing the girl's face broken into a sweat and shuttering speech, Li Na's eye's narrowed in suspicion. " Is that so? Then, Lu Jun-hui must have kidnapped someone's child?"

"NO. How could Second Master do something like that, he's very sweet and gentle. Why are you... Oh...I'm sorry. Madam!" Although she was praising Lu Jun-hui yet none of the words seems reliable to Li Na. Sweet and gentle? My foot!

When the maid saw the skepticism on Li Na's face the maid started to wipe and bowed her head deep as she said anxiously, " Madam, believe me. I'm not lying. The second Master doesn't have a child. I..."

Li Na felt a headache coming over and this girl is acting like a bullied servant. She took pit for herself and let her off. " Ok, stop fussing. I'm hungry." Before leaving the room Li Na turned back as she stood there for a while staring out of the window.

The old lady's face looked extremely pale and upset dark lines formed on her forehead. There was a file in front of her and a middle-aged woman standing near the sofa with an expression of worry clouding her face.

"Elder Li, What should we do now?" the Elder Li pondered for a while as she seems to be hesitant despite that she replied sternly. " Call Li Louwu, and verify the papers as soon as possible." Elder Li said in an insolence manner.

Perplexed by Elder Li's decision of taking help from Li Louwu regarding Li Na's matter. a.s.sistant replied. "Madam Li, He might refuse to cooperate. You know what kind of person he is."

" Then, offer him what wants. Anyways I don't trust Li Na anymore." said the old lady indifferently.

The a.s.sistant was shocked as she and the old lady knew what a price the man will be demanding. Still, Madam Li resolutely giving him liberty to demand. The lady felt worried about Li Na, that man might create problems for Li Na.

Seeing the a.s.sistant went deep in thoughts, Elder Li chuckled and said offhandedly. "Yaya, Just do it. If what was written in this paper is the truth then there's no need to pity Li Na. She had gone overboard and I no longer wants to support her. She has wasted everything she had. You think she needs us anymore. No, Li Na has made her own choices."

The a.s.sistant nodded her head. "Yes, I'll call immediately."

After the a.s.sistant hung up the call. The lady reported back all the details.

" Mr. Li agreed. He needed a week of time." The old lady nodded her head and said. " Prepare the required doc.u.ments for the transaction. Call Master Lu and invite him I want to meet Li Na the next week.", "Sure." said the a.s.sistant.
