Quite patiently, Lu Jianjun consoles Little Tiger while gently rubbing his back. " She is fine! Nothing happened to her." 

Little Tiger: "..."

"Little Tiger, you don't have to worry, she's all fine. Did you hear me?" Lu Jianjun a.s.sured the child over.

Only then reluctantly, Little Tiger nodded his head and became quiet, unmovable but these a.s.suring words didn't help to improve his depressing mood.

Lu Jianjun was a custom with Little Tiger's particular habits and unusual mood swings.

Just like how Little Tiger was embracing his father like a little koala bear. His tiny hands clung onto Lu Jianjun's neck as his chin rested on the broad shoulder. His big brown eyes staring at nowhere.

 Lu Jianjun knew if Little Tiger's mood isn't improved then the little guy won't let go of him as there were many times when Lu Jianjun has to keep him hugging like this until Little Tiger dozes off.

While Lu Jianjun sought to draw the boy face to face and talk as Little Tiger whimpers and opposed when he tried to remove his hands around the neck.

Even after reading dozens of books on parenting still, Lu Jianjun finds this baby boy difficult and challenging to raise.

Helpless, Lu Jianjun carried Little Tiger to persuade him towards the closed window as they stood near the gla.s.s wall from where the east wing manor one side can be clearly viewed.

Lu Jianjun spoke to little guy calmly: "Little Tiger, your m..." momentarily, he stopped in hesitation, somehow unwilling to called Li Na his mother but recovered swiftly. " Your mother is at home. She is resting in your room because she's still weak. Do you want to see her?"

Little Tiger was stunned for a moment, his eyes went wide. Swifty, He raised his head and turned to look back. His eyes went out of the gla.s.s towards his bedroom's window.

'She's at home?'

Subconsciously, his little hand reached out and slightly touched the gla.s.s. His eyes were fixed on that one window of his home but then he retreated suddenly something strikes him and he slowly shook his head in denial.

But Little Tiger kept on gazing in that particular direction instead of happiness and joy his eyes held his dying antic.i.p.ation and empty hope for Li Na. He blinked not wanting to cry for her ever again.

Li Na's hopeless for him!

In the past, no one knew, how much Little Tiger wanted Li Na to be with him? So that he can see her every day, from each morning to every night. He yearned for her to teach him, play with him and the least he expected her to smile at him. But she couldn't even do that much. Her heart never melted and for Little Tiger that feeling was awful.

Little Tiger was perpetually given an alternative to chose between Li Na and Lu Jianjun to spend his time with. As he never once saw both of them together or even face to face. He doesn't know why but his father is quiet and reserved and his mother is cold and unconcerned.

But Little Tiger had a soft corner for his mother and was curious to know more about her so every time Little Tiger choose Li Na over his father. 

Sadly, most of Little Tiger's time spent waiting for Li Na as now he believed that he spent his concern for the wrong person, presently he lost all his hope and excitement for her.

Meantime, Lu Jianjun queried greedily to boost a light of hope and calmly said, "You can see her!"

In the next moment, Little Tiger pulled back his hand quickly and looked at Lu Jianjun as he shook his head firmly. His eyes were determined and firm.

" I..." Lu Jianjun became speechless.

Lu Jianjun was against Elder Li's decision to erase Li Na's memory just because of Little Tiger otherwise, he will be the most relieved person to know that Li Na had lost her memories so that she can move on with her life.

 Li Na was too young when she had Little Tiger. Lu Jianjun still couldn't believe himself that there was a day in his life when he woke up and found a minor girl weeping in pain and agony shrinking in a corner afraid of him. Nevertheless after which he spent nearly an hour behind the bars for committing a crime like adultery with a minor. Amidst all and everything he did five years ago, he went to prison for sharing a bed with her. Unlikely he did that with her.

From those circ.u.mstances... till today, Lu Jianjun couldn't understand whether he should blame Li Na or condemn himself for what and how it happened between them? And how she got pregnant when he didn't even remember doing anything to her? It wasn't like he was drugged or had completely lost his mind! Although Lu Jianjun admits being drunk wearily, he was somewhat aware of his own actions then how could he possibly not remember forcing himself on her but the marks and bruises on her body were evident as later on after Little Tiger's birth ended any scope for his denial.

Lu Jianjun couldn't ignore nor he was able to forget. That seems like the worst thing ever happened to him.

Since then Madam Lu, Lu Jianjun's mother stopped talking to him. She was angry with him about being irresponsible and ignorant and after she knew about Li Na a wedge drew between the mother and son's relations.h.i.+p. Madam Lu couldn't believe her so-called gentlemen son was so immoral to violate a minor girl. She knew he was angry and heart-broken but she never thought he would go that far in his downfall. If it's not because of Li Na's statement denying the probity that he raped her then Madam Lu had made her mind of fixing her own son behind the bars.

Madam Lu still couldn't forgive him for bedding a minor and ruining her naiveté. Although, most women of Madam Lu's fellows.h.i.+p and women's club won't regard this as a problem or issue. If this incident with Li Na were known to others wherein Lu Jianjun, for sure n.o.body would believe that. 

Being peculiar and distant, Lu Jianjun always stayed out of social gatherings. Where it was extremely rare for girls to get a glimpse of this charmer let alone, being intimate with him. He wasn't allergic or cold but distant and unadventurous to explore romantic relations.h.i.+ps.

But regarding Li Na's matter, Madam Lu was worried about her son's reputation been slandered and their child's fate. When Lu Jianjun never cared about rumors and defamation, he was only concerned for Little Tiger. During all these years, Lu Jianjun only bothered concerning his son and focused on his business. There was no room for anyone or any girl. 

This little boy, who was clung onto him and wasn't willing to listen to his father. 

Outside, Lu Jun-hui and Bai Tian waited for long as they felt like half of the day has pa.s.sed while standing there.

And the door opened.  

Lu Jianjun walked out of the room holding Little Tiger's hand.

Lu Jun-hui rejoiced whereas Bai Tain sighed in relief. two idiots remained guarded. When Lu Jianjun saw that look of joy and relief, his expression changed instantly. Their heads dropped immediately as they stood there guilt-tripping and remained rooted like statues.

Lu Jianjun's expression was irritated and displeased as he said in a cold, abstruse tone, " Within an hour, I want Little Tiger back into his room."

Promptly, the rebellious heads raised and appealed for an opportunity to explain themselves, but Lu Jianjun didn't delay to overruled their objection. Looks like they have to s.h.i.+ft little guy's belonging back.

"Am I clear to you!" it wasn't a question but a statement both Lu Junhui and Bai Tian nodded coherently.
