Screech...!

The harsh sound of a chair sc.r.a.ping against the floor could be heard.

When Li Na's eye's blackout and her head felt dizzy as if the world around her was spinning. The hand supporting her chin slid and her head would be slammed on the table heavily. Just in time, long fingers wrapped one side of the forehead, just a jot before her head thumped on to the hot pipping and sour soup bowl in front of her. If so then she could have burned her side face.

Everyone gasped in fright! It happened so quickly that they were left with shocked.

The back of Lu Jianjun's left hand was burnt while supporting Li Na's head. Retaining her fall he stared at her fatigued and pale features.

She is so careless! Doesn't she understand her own body conditions?

Previously, Lu Jianjun called her name two times when he saw Li Na's eyes rolling back but she didn't react. It's when he saw her head was drifting to fall and would be slammed on the hot soup then abruptly he got up from his chair.

He breathed a sigh of relief! She wasn't hurt.

While carrying Li Na, Lu Jianjun can feel her skin getting colder and her shallow breathing upon his neck. His brows furrowed slightly as being this close he couldn't feel or hear the heartbeats. He cautiously laid her onto the bed where the nurse immediately gave her medication along with her moderate drug dosage.

He silently watched Li Na from a distance and noticed her complexion turning pale as the nurse gave her various injections.

So...Li Na is addicted to this level.

It's been nearly 9-10 hours that her nervous system has been active. Though it was a chronic relapser Doctors had warned her to be cautious and don't stress or burden the brain functioning. Still, she was acting healthy and being stubborn to eat.

And if she continues to be reckless then she might have a nervous breakdown that can lead her to fall into coma or worst death.

Seeing the drugs shot Lu Jianjun was somewhat troubled. Is she really this much reliant on drugs, that she'll die without them?

He pondered over his decision.

"Sir, Let me treat your hand." said the nurse as she extended her hand looking and expecting for his hand, ready to treat the burn with a first-aid box.

Flas.h.i.+ng a cold look, Lu jianjun briefly glanced at Li Na as he didn't bait a glance at the nurse and said in a monotone. "No need. Just treat her." And he pa.s.sed through her empty hand, Lu Jianjun walked into his bedroom across the hall. Inside the bathroom, he held the burnt hand under the cool running water. His skin had formed the deep red patches as the upper layer of the skin was peeled off. The water was harshly hitting his pared skin but he didn't even flinch nor a single line formed on his face as if it wasn't his hand and he was completely detached from the burning pain or unable to feel that scorching pain.

She's so haphazard! What if her face would have burnt instead of... Idiot! She's slowly recuperating and still looking for more troubles.

Stupid Girl!

Lu Jianjun applied antibiotic ointment and encircled a bandage to protect the wound from infection. After treating his wound he left the bedroom and walked towards West wing, which is also known as Lu Jun-hui's resting chamber but at the present moment, Lu Jun-hui's resting chamber was in great chaos.

After taking medications, Li Na's body was lethargic but her subconscious mind became attentively active after taking drugs. The previous memory continued like a real dream as if she was actually living in her past life. Everything felt surreal just like a hallucination she experienced in the diner. Where she completely emerged into the past memory.
