"Argh!" Sophie suddenly groaned in pain, startling the other two angels.

Even though Sophie couldn't see Lucian, she could feel his embrace and his bite on her neck, and he was also sucking her blood. "Shoot him; he's behind me, Arael!"

Hearing that, Arael unhesitatingly pointed his bow at Sophie, and two white arrows darted swiftly towards her. However, before the two arrows hit her body, their trajectories changed toward her back.

Lucian, who was still in stealth mode, immediately released Sophie and flew away. However, the two arrows continued to chase after him, and that was because Arael's arrows were not ordinary arrows. Once the arrow detects demons, it will continue to hunt them.

The two arrows were directly slashed by Lucian, and he quickly flew towards Arael; then he slashed his sword against his wings and cut them off.

"Arael!" Sophie and Mariel shouted at the same time.

Since she was closer to him, Mariel immediately flew towards him and pulled back the fire that covered her body, so her fire didn't hurt Arael.

Seeing that, Lucian seized the opportunity to attack Mariel, and he thrust his sword into her back.

When his sword almost pierced Mariel's back, Lucian's body suddenly froze and he couldn't fly forward, and he was shocked when he saw Feng Ruxue appear in front of him. 'What? Why was this strong cultivator protecting these angels? Usually they don't meddle in each other's business.'

Feng Ruxue then turned to Mariel, who had caught Arael, and she threw a pill at her, which she swiftly caught. "Give it to him, although it can't recover his wings instantly, it can heal his wounds quickly."

"That's good." The two female angels sighed in relief after hearing that, if Arael really lost his wings, he would be expelled from the angel realm.

Sophie then looked up at Feng Ruxue. "Who is she? Do you know that woman, Mariel?"

"She is one of Ling Yun's women." Mariel answered her as she also turned to Feng Ruxue, but she was also wondering in her heart. 'Hmm? Did he purposely send her to protect me? She didn't move when Lucian attacked Sophie and Arael, but she immediately moved when he was about to attack me.'

Feng Ruxue then said. "Don't you want to cancel your stealth? No matter what you do, you can never escape me--not even that Vampire Lord can escape me."

Hearing that, Lucian immediately canceled his stealth and spoke to her. "Why are you meddling in our affairs? This is a matter between us demons and humans, and you as a human shouldn't meddle in our matters."

"Really?" Feng Xian'er smiled at him. "First, your daughter and her bodyguard wanted to kill my husband's aunt, and she is now in his hands. Second-"

"What!?" Lucian exclaimed in shock after he heard Feng Ruxue mention his daughter. "Please tell me where my daughter is now; I want to meet her."

Feng Ruxue then continued. "Second, my husband is attracted to that red-haired angel, and he wants to take her as his wife, but you tried to kill her just now."

Sophie and Arael were momentarily stunned upon hearing that, and they then turned to Mariel with questioning looks, but she quickly turned her head to the side, not wanting to give them an answer.

Even Lucian stared at Mariel in disbelief, this was the first time he had heard of a human being attracted to an angel, let alone that he wanted to take her as his wife.

"As for your daughter, I can take you to see her." Lucian looked at her expectantly; he really wanted to see his daughter, but Feng Ruxue said again. "However, if I take you to go see her, then your daughter might witness your death with her own eyes."

"Why?" Lucian didn't understand that.

Feng Ruxue sighed and shook her head. "Because your underlings killed someone close to my husband, and he was forced to turn her into a demon so she could live again."

Sophie wanted to say something to her, but Mariel hastily stopped her by shaking her head.

Although Mariel also wanted to capture Lucian, she didn't want to have any conflict with Ling Yun. Because she knew for a fact that the people beside him weren't ordinary people, and it would be to their own detriment.
