Chapter 2217: New Life

Qin Nan quickly went to another residence and went inside.

The room was clean and tidy with a faint fragrance.

However, it was empty. The Empress was nowhere to be seen.

"Little husband, the Empress already left last night. She told me to let you know that she has left to bring Master Shehuang and the others back to life. She will head to the Thirty-Second Small Immortal Realm when Cang returns," Master Rudao approached from the distance.

"The Thirty-Second Small Immortal Realm huh..." Qin Nan murmured.

He would ask the Empress the questions he had when the time came.

"What is it? Did you only realize that you have always been in love with the Empress? Are you thinking of asking her to be your wife too?" Master Rudao giggled.

In the past, Qin Nan would feel awkward answering the question. He would struggle to find the answer to it, but he said after giving it a thought, "To be honest with you, I'm not too sure either. I've neglected a lot of things in the past."

Master Rudao's eyes flickered with astonishment.

It seemed liker her little husband was slowly getting the hang of it.

"You didn't just neglect a lot of things. You have been neglecting everything like a dumb log," Master Rudao blurted out with a gloomy look despite the excitement in her heart, "Let's not talk about the Empress. What about me? Do you have any idea how much effort I've put in to maintain the peace between your wives? Shouldn't you reward me for my hard work?"

She smiled and whispered into Qin Nan's ear before he could speak, "Shouldn't you be thinking of when you are going to accept me as your wife? Little husband, there might be things I haven't done before, yet I know a lot more than the Princess and Lanlan."

"I'll let you experience the best and unforgettable moment in your life," her eyes glittered alluringly.

Qin Nan shuddered.

"We'll discuss it some other time. I should be going. I have other things to attend to!"

Master Rudao giggled when she watched Qin Nan fleeing for his life.

Qin Nan was still too naive. He was no match against a vixen like her.

A while later, Qin Nan summoned the origin force of the Five Continents to reinforce the defense of the Secondary Lower Realm as a safety precaution.

After he was done, he cast all his worries to the back of his mind and enjoyed pleasant days with Princess Miao Miao, Jiang Bilan, and his father.

Time gradually pa.s.sed. Three years were gone in the blink of an eye.

One particular morning, Qin Nan was greeted by a huge surprise!

Qin Nan cautiously reached out his hand and placed it on Princess Miao Miao and Jiang Bilan's bellies.

In addition to their smooth skin, he could sense a faint movement in them.

"I...I'm going to be a father soon?"

Qin Nan who was the reincarnation of two Supreme Highnesses was speaking in a trembling voice.

He was having mixed feelings of excitement, surprise, and nervousness.

"Humph, Xiao Nanzi, you shouldn't be too happy. It's not easy raising a kid. You should prepare more immortal wines for me, especially those that are brewed over ten thousand years!" Princess Miao Miao said sternly.

"(Puff!) Princess, father clearly told you you shouldn't drink any wine until the kid is born," Jiang Bilan smiled.

"What? Seriously? Xiao Lanlan, why don't you give birth to the child on my behalf!?"

"How am I supposed to do that? Besides, I wonder who kept blabbering on last night when she found out she was pregnant."

"I'm not listening. I'm going to read some scriptures!"

Qin Nan wrapped his arms around the two women as they were having fun.

He was in a great mood.

"Now, Xiao Nanzi, isn't it time for you to go back to the Upper Primary Realm? We'll give birth to the children and stay with father for a while before going to you."

Princess Miao Miao rubbed Qin Nan's head. She liked doing it ever since she became his wife.

"I'll go back after you've given birth. I have plenty of time still!" Qin Nan shook his head without any hesitation.

"That won't do!"

Princess Miao Miao said with a harrumph, "Many factions in the Upper Primary Realm are preying on you, not to mention Cang's return is around the corner too. You are in a precarious situation!"

"You must become a Ruler of Dao as quickly as possible, or even a Heaven Highness so you can destroy them all. By then, our kids will be able to roam across the Nine Heavens freely and marry any Saint or Saintess they find pleasing to their eyes!" the Princess laughed. She was amused by the thought.

Qin Nan's lips twisted. He had to make sure his kids would not become little devils who bullied others by abusing their background.

Jiang Bilan giggled and said, "Husband, the Princess is right. There's only fourteen months left until Cang's return. Besides, now that we are pregnant, we might be able to convince father to spend more time cultivating."

Qin Nan said after a deep thought, "Fine, I'll stay for another month."

A month was gone very quickly. It was time for Qin Nan to return to the Nine Heavens.

"Senior Zhou told me that I can open the second, third, and fourth stages of the Undying Cycle Mountain after I achieved the Master Realm. I should take a look at it first," Qin Nan murmured. He went to the Undying Cycle Mountain. 

"Mm?"

Qin Nan noticed that the first stage looked completely different from before.

The place was no longer surrounded by a white mist, but several ancient mountains that soared into the clouds with various kinds of ancient trees and flowers on them.

Behind the palace that contained all kinds of Dao Arts and Master Arts, and Rules of Dao were three mystical glow like the entrance to different worlds.

Qin Nan immediately observed them with an eye-technique.

"Are those..."

Qin Nan was dumbfounded following a glance.

He noticed the second stage and third stage were each like a small world with valleys of flowers, lakes, ancient woods, and mountains with shocking intents and mystical lights.

Most importantly, only a small portion of them was cla.s.sified as Immortal Blessing places, as most of them had surpa.s.sed the level of an Immortal Blessing Land!

The fourth stage was even more shocking. It was full of all kinds of artifacts which floated in the air like a river or piled up like a mountain. The artifacts each had a powerful aura.

Some of the artifacts were occupying an area on their own. The immortal intent they were emitting was causing lightning flickers across the place.

"A clan, a sect, or an army that wants to be stronger will need sufficient resources, art manuals, and artifacts. Otherwise, they will struggle to grow!"

Zhou Xundao had woken up from his deep slumber. He said, "Zhou Di managed to build the Army of Eternity from scratch mainly because of the Undying Cycle Mountain!"
