Chapter 1876

“Is this the bride?”

Qin Nan slowed down eventually.

He saw a golden bridge rising emerging from the ground in a dense ancient forest and rising into the sky.

The weirdest thing about it was there was nothing at the end of the bridge.

Qin Nan inspected it for a while. He executed the Unstoppable Step as he realized its secret. He stepped on certain spots on the bridge and quickly reached the end of it.

A force descended upon him and encapsulated his figure.

A few moments later, his figure appeared in another place.

“Mm?”

Qin Nan glanced around him as he sensed something.

He found himself on a faint-red gra.s.sland. The sky was gray and misty. He could no longer see the five purple moons.

Three different ancient ruins stood in each of the east, south, west, and north of the gra.s.sland. There were copper gates, beast statues, towering trees, and so on, twelve of them in total.

Apart from an ancient fan with a sword and a flag in front of it, the others had nothing around them.

Meanwhile, there were a few hundred cultivators in the gra.s.sland.

There were people from the ancient tribes and the Supreme Daoism factions, but most of the people were rogue cultivators. Qin Nan roughly estimated their cultivation to be around the eighth-layer Heaven Immortal Realm.

Fifteen cultivators were exchanging words while performing a series of hand seals. They were executing powerful Immortal Arts against one another.

“(Sigh), he missed out on such a great opportunity just then!”

“His talents are quite average, but he seriously has a lot of Dao Weapons!”

The cultivators nearby enjoyed watching the battle. They would share their opinions at times.

“Fellow cultivator, what’s happening here?”

Qin Nan approached the closest cultivator and brought his fists together.

It was a man in a blue long robe. His skin was fair, he seemed to be the son of an official.

The young man smiled when he heard Qin Nan’s question, “Don’t you know? When the five purple moons showed up, there was a map in the sky!”

“According to the map, there are twelve successions in this place, hence why we are here.”

The young man suddenly thought of something. He asked, “Cultivator, is your cultivation in the seventh-layer Heaven Immortal Realm or above? If not, they might forcibly kick you out if they find out.”

Qin Nan smiled. It seemed like the people here had reached an agreement. They would not allow those with weaker cultivation to compete for the successions.

“Don’t worry, I’m qualified to be here.”

Qin Nan asked, “Why isn’t anyone claiming the twelve successions? They are right in front of us.”

The young man pointed at the gray sky. He let out a sigh and said, “We have to wait until the moonlight s.h.i.+nes upon the place when the sky splits apart. We can only enter when the twelve statues wake up from eternal slumber.”

“If we tried to force our way in, we’ll be meeting our deaths.”

“To be honest with you, I’ve waited for almost six hours here.”

Qin Nan expressed his grat.i.tude. He immediately unleashed the power of the Immortal Eyes of the Divine G.o.d of Battle and looked into the sky.

The gray sky had an extra hint of some strange energy. It seemed to be rippling.

Judging from the looks of it, it would not take long for the moonlight to be s.h.i.+ning upon the area and the sky to split apart.

“Mm? Cultivator, you have quite an impressive eye-technique! Why don’t we join hands later? We currently have…” the young man said excitedly.

“Chang Yu, are you recruiting people again? Why can’t you behave yourself!?”

A young man with a cold face not far away from them harrumphed coldly. He only glanced at Qin Nan briefly.

The young man called Chang Yu transmitted his voice to Qin Nan to apologize to him. Qin Nan waved his hand and remained silent.

Most of the cultivators had fixed their gaze on the battle. No one was observing Qin Nan after he unleashed his aura. He gladly stood in a corner out of everyone’s sight.

More cultivators eventually showed up, including some peak Heaven Immortals.

Some of them even received an extra glimpse from Qin Nan when their auras attracted his attention.

There were not many Exceptional Geniuses in the Nine Heavens Immortal Realm, but there were plenty of Peerless Geniuses. Many Peerless Geniuses had also achieved the Lesser Success Stage of the Dao Realm. They were only a step away from becoming an Exceptional Genius.

Their strength was not to be underestimated either.

As Qin Nan had observed, in less than half an hour, the gray sky began to move on its own. Wisps of ancient auras surged and turned into strong gusts sweeping the gra.s.sland.

“It’s coming!”

The cultivators were startled. They immediately looked into the sky. The dozen of cultivators stopped fighting one another too.

Whoos.h.!.+

A moment later, the sky split in half as if a great slash had come down right in the middle. Three eerie purple moons appeared above the crowd.

Similar to the mysterious canyon, the moonlight did not s.h.i.+ne upon the place at once. It first shone on a beast statue, then on a copper gate, and so on.

When the ancient ruins were all under the purple moonlight, they suddenly shuddered and emitted brilliant immortal glows which transformed into various kinds of rare phenomena.

There were beasts roaring into the sky, a human figure waving a sword around, an illusion of a great calamity, and more.

As a matter of fact, some of the rare phenomena indicated the kind of successions that the ancient ruins were offering.

The knowledgeable cultivators could easily tell which of the ancient ruins were Lands of Treasure or Lands of Danger judging from the rare phenomena.

“Let’s go to that!”

“HAHAHA, this must be a sword art!”

The cultivators burst into an uproar excitedly.

However, among the twelve extraordinary objects, the ancient mountain resembling a fan emitted a brilliant moonlight which immediately suppressed the rest of the rare phenomena.

An ancient aura burst out of it and surged across the gra.s.sland.

“There must be a great Land of Treasure behind the fan!”

A rather aged peak Heaven Immortal murmured to himself.

“Moonlight? Is the place behind the fan one of the six Lands of Treasure that Doom mentioned?”

Qin Nan’s eyes glittered. He immediately flew toward the ancient fan without any hesitation.

“Is he…”

The cultivators that were overwhelmed by their excitement, or were heading toward the other ruins were startled upon seeing where Qin Nan was going. They immediately fixed their eyes on him.

“Cultivator, what are you doing? Stop at once!”

Chang Yu immediately unleashed his immortal force in a panic. It turned into a glowing hand grabbing at Qin Nan.

“What do you mean by this?”

Qin Nan stepped aside to dodge the hand and frowned.

He only met Chang Yu a moment ago, but he did have a good impression of the young man.

“You…you don’t know?”

Chang Yu was startled.

“Why do you bother wasting your time on him? Time to go!”

The young man with a cold face from before grabbed Chang Yu and dragged him away forcibly.

“Brother, wait, I have to tell him!”

Chang Yu struggled while blurting out, “Cultivator, that place, it’s…”

Before he could finish, three figures with auras of the ninth-layer Heaven Immortal Realm went up to the ancient fan and stood in front of it. They stared at Qin Nan coldly.

“Senior Gong Wuhua and Senior Yun Zhongyue have their eyes on this place. They have left the sword and the flag behind. If anyone dares to enter it without permission, we will show them no mercy!”

“Since you aren’t aware of it, we won’t punish you for it. Be gone!” the man that was in charge crossed his hands on his chest and said arrogantly.

“Gong Wuhua? Yun Zhongyue?”

Qin Nan was startled. He soon recalled them to be the two out of three Exceptional Geniuses that visited the Realm of the Primordial Blood. They were from the Extreme Living Gate and the Sanqing Ancient Sect.

He now understood why the others did not dare to approach the ancient fan despite the rare phenomenon it triggered. It turned out that the two Exceptional Geniuses had already reserved it.

If it was only one Exceptional Genius, the cultivators might still consider it, but now that two Exceptional Geniuses were involved, they would not dare to provoke them.

“So he had no idea.”

The rest of the cultivators shook their heads upon collecting their thoughts. They did not bother watching it further. They began to make their way toward the ancient ruins they had chosen, yet they immediately froze after hearing what Qin Nan said next.

“What if…I’m not leaving?” Qin Nan said calmly with a grin.

“Cultivator, you…”

Chang Yu, the cold-faced young man, and the rest of the cultivators were astounded.

Was the guy seriously provoking the two Exceptional Geniuses?

“You’re not going to leave?”

The three cultivators were startled. The young man in charge blurted out, “If that’s the case, you shouldn’t blame us for showing you no mercy!”

The eyes of the three cultivators immediately turned cold. They unleashed their auras while executing Immortal Arts to attack Qin Nan. They were clearly trying to kill Qin Nan ruthlessly.

“Too weak.”

Qin Nan shook his head. He did not even unleash his aura. He simply split into three figures, each throwing a punch at one of the cultivators.

BANG!

The three cultivators let out cries of agony as they slammed heavily into the ground in the distance.

The punches did not kill them instantly, but they had left them with serious injuries.

Qin Nan headed toward the ancient fan without looking at them.

“Such a strong cultivation!”

The crowd was absolutely dumbfounded. Even ordinary peak Heaven Immortals could not achieve what he did with just a few punches.

“Be careful, the sword and the flag contain the will of the two Exceptional Geniuses…”

Chang Yu was startled when he saw Qin Nan reaching the ancient fan. He subconsciously blurted out with a shocked expression.
