The person talking was Supreme Rudao.

Qin Nan was completely stunned after hearing how she was addressing him. He even wondered if he had heard it wrong.

Why would Supreme Rudao call him her husband?

Supreme Rudao straightened her face and harrumphed coldly, “Still calling me senior?”

Qin Nan quickly changed the way he addressed the woman. He collected himself and said with a wry smile, “Mengyao, I think it’s too sudden for me. Besides…”

Supreme Rudao interrupted displeasedly before he could finish, “What is it? You’re not willing to become my partner? Or do you think I’m not worthy to be your woman?”

She purposely emphasized the words “not worthy”.

Qin Nan subconsciously shook his head. However, he realized what he said would further worsen the situation. He took a deep breath to calm his thoughts and said, “Mengyao, the thing is, I already have partners.”

Supreme Rudao was stunned, “Who are they?”

The old man mentioned that even if she exceeded the Nine Heavens Supreme Realm, she was still unworthy to become Qin Nan’s partner.

Was there any woman that was worthy to be his partner?

Qin Nan hesitated a little before he briefly explained the relations.h.i.+p between him, Princess Miao Miao, and Jiang Bilan.

The situation was completely out of his expectations. He could only tell Supreme Rudao the truth so she would give up on the thought.

“Not bad, they are willing to sacrifice themselves for their loved one. They are indeed worthy enough to be your partners.”

He could not get himself to marry a woman whom he did not understand and had no feelings for.

She paused and wore a playful smirk, “We will surely develop some affection toward one another over time. We can marry later.”

If two women from the Secondary Lower Realm were able to win Qin Nan’s heart over, she believed with her cultivation and her beauty, it was only a matter of time until Qin Nan fell for her.

Supreme Rudao murmured to herself. She took out the Heaven-Shattering Saber and asked, “Then, can you show it to me? I’m pretty curious.”

She added, “Don’t worry, I’m not going to learn it. I’m a saber artist after all, but I can give you some suggestions to help you change it into a saber art.”

Qin Nan did not think twice since she already gave her promise. It was not like he could say no either. He nodded and held the saber firmly. He calmed his thoughts as he recalled the art in his mind.

After some time, his eyes were engulfed in white flames. His aura completely changed too, like an immortal saber that had lied still for ten thousand years being drawn out of its sheath.

Qin Nan dashed forward at a shocking pace while slas.h.i.+ng forward. The slashes tore the rift apart as a huge force swept forward.

Supreme Rudao’s eyes flickered with astonishment as she murmured in her heart, “His talents are just too shocking. It’s supposed to be a Halberd Art, yet he already found a way to execute it with a saber. At this rate, he’s going to figure it out with just a few more attempts…”

Despite having the thought, she said calmly, “Stop, you won’t be able to transform the art at this rate.”

Qin Nan halted in his track and withdrew the saber intents.

Qin Nan’s eyes were filled with antic.i.p.ation.

The person before him was a saber artist who had achieved the Nine Heavens Supreme Realm. Her experience and knowledge clearly surpa.s.sed his.

He could feel gentle breathing on his shoulder. He could even feel his heart beating quicker.
