Gray clicked his tongue was he watched the Kessho's lay on the floor with their heads bowed down towards him. They were trembling in fear.

The sight disgusted him.

"This is war..."

He pulled his katana impaled into the ground out of it, before walking over to the nearest Kessho.

His head was lowered, his arms and body wouldn't stop shivering.

The closer Gray got, the more the sweat in his face would increase.

Gray glanced at the king and noticed that he showed neither remorse nor care for his underling as Gray approached him.

Rather, he looked as if he wanted Gray to quickly dispose of him.

*Step*

Gray's footsteps came to a stop once he finally stood before the Kessho captain.

"Aren't you going to stop me?" Gray asked.

"..."

"...I am the Kessho King. Any Kessho who would dare to bow to any other deserves to die. That is a sin those of our race must pay." He replied, emotionlessly. "Dispose of him."

Gray raised the katana up into the air. "Is that so?"

*Step*

He took a step away from the Kessho and began walking towards the King.

"You.. Did you just tell me what do?"

"I don't mind getting free XP."

Gray's expression grew colder as he smiled at the King.

"But more than that, there's one thing I can't stand."

He got into a stance, pointing the edge of his blade towards the Kessho king before saying. "Ordering me to do something despite being my enemy."

While maintaining the stance, Gray looked around.

"The order of it doesn't matter, all of you standing here, right now in this room will die. That includes all of you Kessho's bowed down."

"So just sit quietly... And wait your turn-"

Gray vanished, appearing before the Kessho King with a swing aimed right at his neck.

The Kessho king didn't move an inch, instead he slowly turned his head towards Gray, with the same still expression.

*SLASH!*

Gray slashed right through his neck.

Gray's eyes widened, although visually he could see his sword going through, it felt as though he had sliced through thin air.

'This ability-'

[Void: Black Hole.]

Gray's heart skipped a beat.

[Mark of the King First stage: Active.]

[Cooldown On Pause Step Removed.]

[Pause Step can be used without feet touching any platforms.]

Gray didn't wait not even a fraction of a second before [Pause Stepping] away,

Upon doing so, he instantly vanished appearing at the far end of the room.

As he stared on what was on the other side, his heart began to pound from all the adrenaline.

A large black hole manifested, light instantly left the room as everything had become black and white.

The air was being sucked towards it like a vacuum, the walls, the ground, the entire floor was shaking heavily.

Gray looked over to the Kessho's who were on the floor and watched as they were slowly being pulled towards it.

He then looked over at his body, it was moving slower, much slower than normal.

It was as if time itself had slowed down.

At that moment, the system itself took the initiative to answer his question for him.

[The black hole exerts an enormous force which warps the space-time present all around it to such an extent that time around it slows down considerably.]

The entire ship was breaking down.

"AHHHH!!!!"

"HELP ME!!!!"

The Kessho's screamed as they were instantaneously dragged into the black hole.

[Pause.]

Gray was able to stay in place thanks to pausing himself.

He looked over at the Kessho with a surprised look. He couldn't believe it.

'He has two abilities?'

Not only could he phase through objects but also create vacuums such as black holes?

'Time stop!'

Everything came to a stop.

There was nothing but silence.

Once again, time had stopped.

With the pattern on his head glowing brighter and brighter, Gray inspected the scene.

Although he'd be able to move a few times without suffering much damage since the mark was activated, it was still a risky move.

Especially considering that he was immune to physical attacks judging by how Gray's attack passed right through him.

Thanks to everything being stopped, with a closer look Gray noticed something off.

There was a hand and a head sticking out of the ground just beside the King. It was grabbing onto his leg.

It was then that he realised it.

'The other guy is using his ability on the Kessho King... Fuck... This is going to annoying.'

It was truly a troublesome ability.

[Mark OF The King First Stage: 3M 37S]

He had a little over three minutes and a half left, he needed to think of something fast. The timer was still moving even with time stopped.

'Time resume.'

The instant time began to flow once again.

The king's brows raised.

"Just now, what did you?" He asked.

Gray grew visibly confused from his question.

'Did he notice I had stopped time due to the distortion created from the black hole?'

He didn't have much time to think about it however, as the black hole was visibly expanding.

[Void: Void Eater]

A dark aura began to flow through the King's arm.

The King swung his arm horizontally towards Gray, and Gray instantly felt another attack coming.

He leapt up to avoid, only to turn pale as the entire space below him was scraped away.

A strange sound echoed throughout the room, and not only the walls, but the air and body of the other Kessho's who had been lying on the floor were removed from existence.

All that remained from that single arm swing, was but a few legs and organs which had somehow managed to escape the vicinity of the swing's attack.

Gray looked down and then up, another swing was heading vertically down at him.

[Pause]

He created a platform, kicking off of it by leaping to the right.

*VWOOOM!*

Air came rushing into the ship once again, as a cross shape appeared from a vertical portion of the wall having been completely removed.

The air sucked Gray right out of the airship causing his figure to disappear into the distance.

The King lowered his arm upon seeing this.

"Disappointing." He repeated before looking over at the black hole.

It had expanded so much that it looked as if it was about to consume him.

Just as he was about to cancel it to prevent it from growing, his eyes quickly flashed to the right only to find Gray right beside him.

While mid-air, Gray had a swing on motion heading right for the King's head once again.

The swing ended up passing right through the King meanwhile the King thrust hand radiating dark energy at Gray.

*Swoosh!*

[Void Ea-]

[Fast-Forward.]

*WHAM!*

The side of Gray's kick ended up landing cleanly to the side of the Kessho King's face, sending him flying away.

The Kessho who was grabbing onto his leg went flying out of the ground with it. Their body's were coated in a dark aura preventing the Black orb's gravitational pull from getting to them.

*Shatter*

They flew out of the ship.

Gray on the other hand, groaned in pain as the same feet which he had used to kick them away, was devoured whole by the black hole.

Before the rest of his body could be dragged in, Gray {Pause Stepped.] out of the ship.

The furthest he could go now was [Forty meters.] with the mark Active.

But even still that wasn't enough for the Black hole's gravitational pull to let go of him.

Even after pause stepping into the air out of the ship, Gray could only watch as the Kessho King plummeted downwards through the air, completely unaffected by the pull whilst Gray was constantly being pulled back.

[Pause.]

Gray paused the air in-between him and the gravitational pulls direction before leaping off of it and instead towards the Kessho King.

With all the gravity acting up on him he wasn't able to get even a meter closer.

Still-

[Pause Step.]

[Pause Step.]

Like a beast with no intentions of losing his Prey, Gray pause stepped away, each time landing onto a platform as he covered forty meters with every leap.

He was gradually approaching the Kessho King who was falling.

He had no intentions of letting him get away.

"COME BACK HERE!!!" Gray yelled out.

[Void: Black Hole Cancel]

[Void: Black Hole]

[Two Fold.]

Gray momentarily turned pale.

The gravity acting upon him from the other black hole suddenly vanished from behind.

Instead another two black holes suddenly appeared before him.

He glanced back at the ship, and noticed it was being completely destroyed, the black hole was gone.

He had disregarded it to create these two new ones.

Still, the fact that he created, two black holes so close to each other, right above the city.

Gray knew that if he didn't finish him off now, then the damages would far exceed any calamity he had encountered.

He charged right down towards the gap in between the two blackholes.

They were soon to collide, but that didn't stop him.

Thanks to the gravity pulling him towards them, he was plummeting at them at a much faster speed than normal.

But there was only one way he was going to get through this.

Pause Step and fast forward would only end up draining his stamina unecessarily.

Gray grit his teeth.

'TIME STOP!!' He shouted inwardly.

Everything came to a stop, the sound he could hear from all the air brushing against his face and crashing against his ears had vanished.

The silence which had first appeared after the two black holes sucked out most of the sound from the area was further amplified to the point where there was now nothing.

Time had stopped.

But Gray hadn't.

*Thump*

His heart beat as he got closer and closer to black hole.

He knew that if he was even an inch off from the gap, there was a chance he'd die.
