Chapter 1620 1613: The Second Va.s.sal

Despite his confusion regarding the transpired outcome of the Mortal Dao and Mystic Dao, Wei Wuyin decided to shelve his thoughts on that for later. Ending his Idol of the Stellar Paragon state, he exhaled before twisting his body slightly and began to make his way back to the Sky Heart Galaxy using mana-a.s.sisted flight. It wasn't too fast, but there was a refres.h.i.+ng feeling of relaxation that flowed gently within his heart and mind.

This trip across galaxies to the Treasured Vale Galaxy had been one of numerous horizon-expanding events and unexpectedly wondrous events. It was quite incredible to imagine that he was just a young infant swaddling in open-crotch clothing blissfully content on a tiny continent just a century ago. Now, he had troubles upon troubles, star-stunning beauties by his side, and an entire empire to maintain and advance.

Just now, he had fought against and defeated an Enlightened Sage by his own power. With his saber, that same saber that his older brother taught him to swing with unshakeable resolve, he challenged the impossible and took it down as existence at the peak of the Mystic Ascendant Realm. To almost every mortal, beings at that level were divinities.

No-they were beyond ordinary divinities!

Back at the Four Extreme Continent, those at the Mystic Star Phase and Soul of Mysticism Phase had been wors.h.i.+ped as divinities for thousands of years.

"Master, will we be going to the Utmost Purity Galaxy next?" Bai Xiu was astonished by Wei Wuyin's brilliance, but after such long-term exposure to him, especially his defying feats becoming a Worldly Saint Alchemist as a mere mortal, his achievement of killing an Enlightened Sage wasn't too impactful for her, a Spiritform immersed in the Alchemic Dao. She cleared her fascination quickly and justified it as 'only reasonable'.

Her master couldn't be gauged using normal thinking or conventional standards of 'what could be done', and this gave birth to an internalized belief of his unquestionable invincibility and boundless remarkable qualities that were layers and layers deep. She was expecting to find more the further she went. Always.

In her mind, she felt more antic.i.p.ation after Wei Wuyin spared that alchemist and their future itinerary of heading to the Utmost Purity Galaxy next. Just the name alone inspired thoughts of Alchemy.

"Yes, we will." Wei Wuyin confirmed with a subtle nod of his head, his gaze slightly absent-minded as an indescribably rare sense of exhaustion pounded at the doors of his mind. It was unexpected but he could understand where it originated from as he felt him embroiled deeper into intrigue that exceeded his expectations.

The looming Heavenly Daos, the upcoming Calamity of h.e.l.l, Su Mei's impending Ascension, the Belt of Mortal Virtue, the Bloodline of Sin and its uncertain purpose, the Neo-Dawn Empire's developing state, his two-year promise with Yue Songli, Wei Xiaotian's existence, the cultivation paths of each Ascendant, the short deadline to obtain a Seed of War, the visit to Blessed Yri Empire, and certainly all his goals upon arriving there.

He had grown stronger, far beyond his original estimates, yet this didn't grant him a feeling of invincibility that others have of him. To him, he was simply wading through as a man with goals in an incomparably vast world, taking it a step at a time, as steady and as determined as one could.

"No matter what it is or who it is, we'll be right there with you to face all of it." Eden's voice echoed within his mind and heart. A glimmer of warmth surged within his chest.

"Always. Always. Always!" Ori added with a firm tone lacking any doubt.

"No matter if it's h.e.l.l or Heavens or the world or an ancient old fox championing a mission to go against the natural order of things or a crazed woman desperate for freedom, there is nothing that will-that could stop me from being with you all." Kratos' intensity remained within each syllable yet there was a notable degree of softness within the deepness of its voice, especially at the last portion of that sentence. It contained an unshakeable resolve and a forceful belief.

"Tch." King voiced a single sound, yet the words within were far greater than any sentence or paragraph.

Element released a soft saber howl. While it couldn't speak words, its emotions were conveyed perfectly, no different than King and Ori. Since it was raised by both of them, this wasn't very unexpected.

Little Defiant unleashed solar flares within his Mind's Eye that were extremely warm, sending waves of this warmth into Wei Wuyin's entire body, especially his heart.

They each said different things or used different ways to showcase their feelings, yet what they conveyed was, in many ways, the same thing as they were of one mind, one spirit, and one life. They were together.

Nothing could change that. Nothing would ever.

"..." Wei Wuyin couldn't help but form the most contented smile. Long ago, he had troubles upon troubles as his family was slaughtered, many before his very eyes, and he had traversed the path of vengeance alone. Every task was absurdly difficult and in the end, after achieving his desired goal he fought a decade for, he was ready to rest-eternally.

Originally, Mei Mei had prevented that from happening. And today, he was happy he hadn't made that choice.

Because while he had suffered an unspeakable tragedy in his heart, and lost almost everything close to him, after decades to a near century, he hadn't just completed many of his dreams since young but had obtained an incredible family. His goals, every step of the way, were no longer taken alone!

His brother...Wei Wuyin could only hope that he would be proud.

He could only...

Within the vast flow of time, in a wave of incalculable choices, a silver-eyed young mortal of unearthly handsomeness that exceeded the common imagination with a grace of innate Imperial presence piloted the Minor Elysium toward the Sky Heart Galaxy. Under his impeccable control, he halted the s.h.i.+p as the vessel known as Easy Spring and its interim captain.

"Oh?" The silver-eyed young mortal gazed upon the incoming, domineering vessel with a glint of amus.e.m.e.nt. In terms of appearance, there was no difference between timelines, yet there was a subtle lack of a l.u.s.tful charm within his temperament. This was Wei Wuyin!

Next to him, a far more beautiful version of Mei Mei was present, her temperament and presence had all subtly changed as faint traces of the Imperial Law emanated from her, all originating from the silver-eyed young mortal.

"What a pretty s.h.i.+p," Mei Mei commented.

"Hm? You like this s.h.i.+p?" Wei Wuyin asked curiously. Mei Mei blinked and her feelings were on full display. Minor Elysium was a great s.h.i.+p, but it wasn't theirs and would eventually have to be returned to beings that exceeded the Mystic Ascendant Realm. Wouldn't it be great if they had their own void vessel that could traverse the stars? So she nodded directly.

Wei Wuyin held her hand, his eyes turning gentle, "Then, I'll obtain it for you." His response surprised no one as Su Mei, Yao Huoyi, Shui Fengbao, or Young Master Shang.

A scarlet-eyed, bare-footed, and long silver-haired Zuhei stepped on the railing. Wei Wuyin didn't have to say a single word before he laughed himself through the Dark Void.

"Don't damage the s.h.i.+p," Wei Wuyin reminded.

Howl!

Zuhei replied as he turned into a sanguine comet of light that blitzed toward the Easy Spring!

-----

Within a world of a single color, a wise voice resounded.

"The divergence of a single choice can instigate an uncountable amount of choices. Two entirely different fates, but leading to the same road. But which will remain in the end, I wonder?"

After several hours of flight, the Sky Heart Galaxy had more or less digested the events. The beasts were running rampantly to right the abnormal, thrown-off orbit of many of their home planets. Meanwhile, the humans had an indescribable feeling that their fortunes and fates were changing somehow. It was inexplicable but it rang in each of their hearts.

Unbeknownst to this, this was due to Wei Wuyin deciding to extend the reach of his Neo-Dawn Empire into the depths of the Sky Heart Galaxy.

Three days later, a phenomenal event occurred that shook countless beasts, beastmen, and humans: numerous gargantuan and powerful beasts were making their way across the Dark Void and starry skies of many planets toward several locations.

A few witnessed these beasts of varying types entering Void Portals and vanis.h.i.+ng abruptly.

In a Secret Realm large enough to accommodate even the gigantic hyena, Wei Wuyin stood there while under his True Dragon Transformation, observed by numerous Genesis Beasts with strengths at or beyond the Worldly Saint Phase. His True Dragon Aura caused many of them to squirm and observe him cautiously. The sheer presence of his physical body was terrifyingly stimulating to their instincts.

They knew he was...strong.

"Greetings," he introduced himself through mental transmission, directly conveying his meanings without language barriers. "I am Wei Wuyin, the Ascendant Emperor of the Neo-Dawn Empire. Today, I've come here to discuss..."

The beginnings of Young Master Shang's heartfelt wish to start, but Wei Wuyin had no intention of fulfilling his goal of flipping the supremacy of races. Since beasts ruled this land, they will continue to do so, and while he could likely slightly affect the Prohibition of Heaven and grant humans greater strength within this galaxy, he wouldn't.

This day, Wei Wuyin was challenged by various leaders among these intelligent beasts, and he crushed them all using raw strength and his True Void Dragon abilities, acting as a true hybrid. After the stick, Wei Wuyin revealed himself as an alchemist amongst the species of humanoids and showed them the beauty and power of alchemy. Many of their internal problems would be solved with these products.

The Sky Heart Galaxy soon fell as a Galactic Va.s.sal of the Neo-Dawn Empire, especially after Wei Wuyin displayed irresistible power, dominance, and means to a.s.sist these beasts in progressing down their paths to their ancestors. Moreover, there was not much in terms of changing their habits and culture, only a few non-negotiable rules.

Decades in the future, the Sky Heart Galaxy and White Abyssal Galaxy would have advanced societies of beasts and humanoids intermingling without extreme discrimination, unprecedented as they cultivated together and contended against each other for resources. Humanoids will raise beasts for greater strength, riding them to battle, and beasts will one day raise humanoids to fight alongside them.

There will come a day when a young man who witnessed the day the stars vanished and a young girl yet to be born will gaze upon the stars in this galaxy ruled by beasts and feel genuine happiness to be alive.
