The same as before, he didnt tell him anything sensible. It may have been impossible to seek reason or a straight forward explanation from a demon. Demons had strong likes and dislikes, they had a disposition that made them obey their base emotions. They were true to their desires, and wouldnt give up until their greed was satisfied without holding back. The only ones who worked with any self-control were the demon servants.

So, what did Yato want, Tokimori wondered. They did small jobs like searching for missing people, making people get lost, stealing documents, all while wanting to move away to place where his family couldnt interfere, where they could live peacefully just the two of them, up until yesterday, that had been their dream. When he really thought about it, it was none other than Tokimori who said that was what he wanted to do, and Yato had agreed. If Tokimori had a different dream for the future, he would probably agree with that too.

Suddenly feeling a presence, Tokimori lifted his face. Yato on all fours was slowly crawling closer to Tokimori. He should have been two meters away, but he had come about a meter closer.
