Compared to Blaire, she is wearing a fitted dress that shows up her curves. She does wonder if what is her relations.h.i.+p to Kier as she doesn't saw any romance aura between the guy she's with.
She combs her hair and dried it with a hair blower. After then, she leans partly and let loose her hair upfront then tied it like a ponytail. She looks up and combs her ponytail with her hand.
She did grab a lipstick last night and now she can able to use it. She forgets an eyeliner but a saleslady introduce her a CC Cream that on sale.
All she is wearing is a CC Cream and lipstick, no eyeliner and face powder. Well, she is not used to those anyways.
After she's done, she comes out from the bathroom and grabs the sandals from the walk-in closet just next to the bathroom. She's now all set.
"Thank you for waiting, Blaire," she said.
Blaire looks up and her gaze did not leave her face. She felt conscious because of the way she was looking at her and she was scanned by a beautiful woman.
"How pretty," Blaire praised her.
She was confused if she heard the word correctly, or maybe she just missed cleaning her ears? Blaire sits up from the sofa then she realized how tall she is wearing four inches red stilleto that added to her original height.
She is a woman and so, she can't avoid to felt envy in her heart.
"Let's go then?"
"Yes," she nodded.
Blaire leads the way and she follows her. She really is pretty, Jean thought.
Blaire walks slowly to pair her pace. "You know, you have a beautiful voice," she praises her.
She was surprised but then, she gives a shy smile. "Thank you."
"I mean it. You don't only have a beautiful an angelic voice but also you have an angelic face."
She was stunned the way Blaire complimented her again. It appears that's the opposite of what she thought.
It was Blaire who look beautiful and stunning. Any man would fall in love with her. A man likes Kier.
"Ah, thank you. You are so beautiful too." She just said because she is speechless on how to answer her. Well, truly Blaire is beautiful, she also can't help not to scanned her several times.
Blaire felt it and she smiled at her. They now reached the elevator and they step inside.
"I kind of guessed, what you were thinking," she told Jean.
"Being cla.s.sy versus to simplicity is totally on a different level. Women like me who has a demanding career, I have to always wear makes up and beautiful clothes. Maintain my composure and image. But, this made me abandon to be a woman sometimes I wanted to be... being without restraint but still, I can be a woman in every way."
Jean doesn't understand what she implied. There's no way that a woman like her who is perfectly beautiful and a rich girl is having issues.
She smiled at her again then continued. "Simplicity is a woman's pride. You can wear baggy clothes but you can still wear cla.s.sy clothes. Cla.s.sy women always think of designer clothes and always look for a new trend the next week."
Jean somewhat understand what Blaire is saying now. Those High Society will always worry what dress they should wear making sure it's a trend which a person like her, she could wear a $5 dollar T-s.h.i.+rt and wash it then wear it many times.
She glanced at Blaire and she admired her even more. She seems a remarkable woman.
"Anyways, do you want to work with me?" Blaire suddenly asked her.
"Huh? Work?"
They are now stepping out from the lift and trailing the parking area outside of the building.
"Yes. You have a beautiful voice, you can sing to any events, especially in weddings," Blaire gives her a convincing smile.
She was totally speechless by what she offers her. It's an astounding offer.
"Events performers earn more than of the singers at our hotel bars," she added.
She was stunned. She somewhat knew how much Lena earns each month and that's enough fortune to support her sister's medication after the transplant.
"Think about it and Kier who made contracts so you can discuss it with him and asks any questions regarding your work. The benefits and insurances."
Jean still speechless about Blaire's offer but this is a great opportunity for her.
"By the way, did you often sing that song?"
"Song? Which one?" Jean has a habit to sing whatever she does. Even if while cleaning, cooking, doing laundry or in the shower.
"The one in the shower."
"Oh, yes. It was my mom's favorite song. She often sings it to us and to any singing contest in our village."
"Oh. I see… so do you join any singing contest then?"
"Ah, yes. But not often. Just mostly I perform in my school."
"That's cool. So your mom who look after your sister, right now?"
"Ah, about that… my mother died five years ago."
"Oh. I'm sorry!"
"It's okay."
"How about your father? I'm sorry to ask you these questions, just consider this as a job interview."
"Oh, then how lucky for me to have a little easy question," she smiled.
"My father died before my mother."
"Then? Who's with your sister now?" She can't help to become curious.
"Ah, my parents' siblings, my aunts from both sides who look for my sister now."
"Aw, that's nice."
"Yes. Even we are poor, but everyone in the family did their best to help out a little. My aunts said they have no fortune to help so they will just offer their time to watch my sister and takes care of her for me."
"Ah, that's so touching. Your family seems nice. You have an awesome family."
Sadness flash in her face. Blaire observes her keenly. She knew, that a person like Jean she will do anything for her family. A smile plays on her lips.
"Now I remember…" Blaire tilted her head on the side while staring at her. "The song you sing in the shower is brother Kier's most favorite song. Because Auntie Kaye used to sing it to him for him to sleep."
"Huh?"
