During her meeting with the queen, she complimented their dresses. She then asks them if they can make her a few designs like Carlene's Ballgowns, and so, Carlene left with the queen in the secluded room to make sample sketches.
Astounded at how talented Carlene is, she meets no one as incredible as she is. Sometimes, she thinks about how mysterious a person she is... and every time they were doing things together; it left her a great impression of how amazing a woman she is. She always has this feeling of familiarity.
She sighed once again. Marivella looks up to scan the night sky.
Dark clouds forming above, hiding behind is the timid moon as the rain threatens to fall tonight. Scanning the vast thick clouds began covering the city of Paris, Marivella closes her eyes and wished to the moon having a glimpse in a while before it disappears one more time. Her troubled heart prayed.
"Marivella…"
"Carlisle?" surprised, she opened her eyes and turned around to face the man she aches to see one more time before she sailed to Korea. She prayed to see him one more time because she was on a tight watch.
"Why are you here? Wait— what are you doing?" she asked him nervously.
Worriedly, she looked around might a Korean soldier saw them talking. Prince Yoo Joon requested the king that no French soldier or Royal guards would come closer toward her.
But he dragged her somewhere... firmly, Carlisle held her hand and brought her into a pavilion below the Grand Hall. The place is cannot touch by the lights, and so she cannot determine his expression at the moment: either he is angry or sad? She craves to know.
"Let me go, Carlisle... please," Marivella pleaded.
She wants to hide her feelings and deny them over again. She has to suppress her love for him to hurt no furthermore.Â
Carlisle halted but did not let go of her arm but grasping her other arm, holding her both tightly, he appealed.
"I am the one who begs you, Marivella. Please, don't do this to us. I know you love me too!"
She sighed. Sad smiled tore her lips and replied to him. "Carlisle, we already talked this morning. Everything between us is over."
"But I agreed on nothing! I never accepted we break up!" he argued.
"Enough, Carlisle," she looks away, even if he cannot see her face clearly, but she wants to hide the glistening water trailing down her cheeks. Marivella presses her eyelids to stop the tears.
"Even how many times you will push me away, I would never stop longing to see you, and loving you. Even if how many times you deny me, but I will never keep my distance," he a.s.serted to her.
Marivella bit her lower lip, not to sobs. Heaving a deep sighed, she expressed. "Please, understand Carlisle. Don't make things hard for you to accept the things to what it was now."
Carlisle's gaze burning her face. His hold on her arms burying deeper to her chest. She could feel the weight it conveys.
"Marivella, let's go tonight. Leave this place and leave everyone who against our relations.h.i.+p!" he begs one more time.
"My family is never against us."
"That's why let's leave tonight! I know they will understand! They once runaway to resist the marriages their parents arranged for them!" he reasons.
"But it doesn't mean it always the right thing to do!"
"Marivella..."
"Please, Carlisle. We cannot force to change the way our fate design." Marivella phrases meaningfully.
"Yes, you are right. But I would never accept that you are not for me! So let's leave tonight, Marivella. Let's prove that no one can separate us," he pleaded.
She sighed. "I already told you, we can't do that. Let accepts this is our fate, Carlisle."
"Then, if loving you is to defy my fate. I don't care if whom I destined to! As long as my heart knows it was you, I will love you even the afterlife, Marivella."
Hearing this from Carlisle's mouth, she no longer stopped her tears from flooding her face. Shaking her shoulder, she feels Carlisle's warm chest covering her chilling back.
"You are the only woman I loved, always remember this even in your next life and our next life," he whispered behind her ears. "I don't care even how many lives I should have just to be with you. No one else, but you still the one I will ever love. Only you..."
Flooded with tears, Carlisle covered her mouth and kisses her pa.s.sionately. Marivella did not refuse but let him warming her confused heart.

Quinn heard everything. It fl.u.s.ters him hearing himself making these promises and doing those love confessions. Likely, it's not only Charles who looks an idiot but Carlisle shamelessly conveying his love to the woman dear to him.
By the time Marivella and Madison summon by the queen and brought them into a room, he followed them, hiding. And when Marivella steps out of the room, Carlisle follows her outside the grand hall.
Full of curiosity, he follows the lovers... and carefully making faint steps; he plans on eavesdropping at them.
Later on, he spotted a few Koreans, and so he speaks in the Korean language, enough for them to hear the people approaching the place. He then hears a horse leaving in hasty. After he a.s.sured that Carlisle and Marivella fled, he approached the soldiers.
"Good evening, gentlemen," he greeted them who was very surprised a French man can speak their language.
Astounded, the one who stood as the captain responded to him.
"Good evening, master."
"It seems, you were lost, soldiers." Quinn jested.
The captain glances at his company then gaze back at him. Hesitant to share anything, the captain replied to him once again.
"We are looking for Lady Marivella, Mister?"
"Henry is what they called me," he answered. "The lady must stroll somewhere in the pavilion to breathe some fresh air," he told them.
"Could you tell us where we are that place, Mister Henry?"
"The pavilion located on the west side of the Castle," Henry pointed the left side, the west direction.
"Thank you, Mister Henry." They bowed at him then leave hastily.
"You're welcome! Good night, gentlemen!"
"Yep. Enjoyed searching," he grins. Learning different languages in the present life is such a help.

Leaving successfully at the Grand Hall, Carlisle and Marivella went back to the villa owned by Charles's family...
Warm breath burning her skin, Marivella pressing her back on the door... arms hold on tight around Carlisle's neck, he showered her kisses she cannot protest.
When he began undressing her, she let him bare her completely. Tears once again trailed down her cheeks. Who would have thought? That the person who would tear down her betrothal robe is Carlisle.
Her clothes falling down her ankle, Marivella responded to his kisses hungrily.
She gasps when he carried her and carefully places it on the bed. Lovingly, his warm palm caressing every inch of her body and bathe her with kissed. She sighed, surrendered completely.
Their hands intertwine, and Carlisle kisses the back of her palm, showing affection in every way he could.
Reuniting their body, he made slow thrusts. She'd noticed, this is the most sensual make love Carlisle showed her. Despite this, he is very gentle and careful when she wants more.
She wants more memories of him. She wants more familiarity with his body. Tears flooded her eyes once again.
This is too unfair.
When it is goodbye, it was felt so wonderful. She cried.
"Shush… I love you! I will do everything for you." he kisses her eyes, drying them. "Let us run away tonight..." he begs once again.
Marivella keeps silent. She can not answer his invitation, and she doesn't want him to know what's on her mind. She sighed.
She rested her palm on Carlisle's chest, partly pus.h.i.+ng him away from her to catch a glimpse of his face.
"Running away is not a solution, so that we could be happy and ends our struggles. I know it is not, Carlisle…" she phrases.
"I cannot love anyone as to how much I love you, but we are living in a different world," she added.
"We are living in the same world! There's no difference in between! If other people don't support our relations.h.i.+p, then let's go to the place where people know nothing about us and do not care who we are."
"Your mother has a great connection. She can find us easily."
"Why would you care about my mother? If she denounces me for disobeying what she wanted, let her be. I only care about you."
"She's your mother, your very family, Carlisle."
"But she's not happy for whom I loved. Besides, our love only consists of two people. You and I are all that matters, would you understand that Marivella?"
"Carlisle…"
Sweet words and promises of love…
Running away would be an answer and the path to love freely and is to be happy? Honestly, it made her confused about what to choose. She loves her family, and she would choose them. But Carlisle prepares to oppose her mother and forgets his family.
"Let's forget about this for now," he said, combing her hair and caressing her face. "How if, we just think about you and me at the moment? Okay?"
Peering at him lovingly, she nodded. Magically, this part of the city brightens up by the moons.h.i.+ne. She could perfectly catch sight of Carlisle's glistening body on top of her.
Slowly, Carlisle leans toward her and covered her lips. Pa.s.sionately, she responded to the heat he offers her.
One more time, they made their bodies one. And this time, Carlisle took a faster pace.
