Why she's stuck inside here? Why she's not woken up yet? What is happening to her? When she could go back to reality?
Ca.s.sie has been asking this to herself over again. She already came up to things that happen to her like: she hit her head on the steps, and she was just sleeping all this time.
Is she in a coma right now?
Sound crazy, but her days in this dream were long and boring. She wishes to go back to the island. But above all, it is to see her parents and Quinn.
Ca.s.sie was already in the kitchen and making a breakfast of herself as she felt so much hunger This is one thing, she could have felt these things like it's happening to her for real.
"Well, well, you have a thick face. Why should we look after you? Are you some kind of princess? Huh?"
Lydia said sarcastically who surprisingly shows up in a sudden behind her.
Even Ca.s.sie prepared herself to not surprise whatever she'll encounter in this dream, however, it cannot avoid it would shock her that the people she was close to her reality were treating her this bad. Her aunt Lydia is glaring at her. Confused, she wanted to speak out, but no words were coming from her mouth.
"Now that we feed you, you must do the house ch.o.r.es," Lydia instructed Ca.s.sie.
Surprised from Lydia's a.s.sertion, she just nodded. Why does this scene be familiar to her? Ca.s.sie thought. She seems to remember that there is a book she once read before. The family died from the accident, adopted by an uncle, have a wicked stepmom and step-sister. Could it be possible her dream is base on someone's book? She ponders when Lydia slammed her palm to the table.
"Are you deaf?" she yells at her.
"I— I'm sorry, Aunt Lydia. I am not paying attention."
"All that I hated most, is I have to repeat everything I had said!" she screams once again. "I said, make me some breakfast!"
"I— understood, Auntie," she replied. Startled, she quickly makes breakfast for Lydia.
After she made more breakfast, she called Lydia and Mimie. During the meal, Lydia keeps ordering her if what she must do after they all leave for work and school.
"I could see that you are useful. Starting tomorrow, I want you to make our breakfast. Mimie will go to school, so you will make our breakfast earlier than today." she said, then added. "But don't you dare to tell your uncle I told you this!"
Why does she mistreat her? She doesn't like this dream all, Ca.s.sie thought. It makes the people she loves treated her bad. Except for her uncle Martin, he always good to her.
Lydia and Mimie now left for work and school, leaving her alone in the house. Since she has nothing to do, she follows what Lydia ordered her and that to clean the house. Gladly, she used to help Auntie Ling in house ch.o.r.es, even though they have cleaners coming to the villa and do the cleaning to the entire house twice a week, she regularly cleans her bedroom.
Ugh. So boring. She already finished the cleaning and even cleaned the entire kitchen because she could feel too alone. Ca.s.sie staring at her reflection in the mirror. Her almost bald head makes her unrecognizable and giving her a look of a cute boy. She was twelve and so; she doesn't grow those chests yet. Well, there is a sign of them already, but she could still make them unnoticeable.
Later in the evening, Lydia arrives with Mimie. She could see that they went shopping as they were carrying those bags of a well-known brand that established here in Paris. Lydia traveled her eyes to the entire house. She looks pleased.
"So, you were this useful," she praises. "Taking you in is not bad at all," Lydia smirks at her.
"Mama, come on! I want to try them now!" Mimie is pulling Lydia toward the stairs.
"Um, Auntie Lydia! What a dinner we have tonight?" she asked.
"We've done already," Lydia replied, then resume climbing the stairs.
Ca.s.sie left astounded. She has no dinner tonight? But the fridge is full of meat she can fix something for herself, or else, she'll starve inside this dream. She was frying a pork belly at when Lydia and Mimie came down from upstairs.
"What are you doing?" Lydia asked her.
"Um, am I making dinner for me, Aunt Lydia."
"Really? So, you can cook more than breakfast, huh?" Lydia commented while staring down at the food she prepared.
Ca.s.sie makes herself some vegetable salad and fries some potato and pork for her supper.
"Mama, I'm hungry," Mimie whispered to her mother.
"Mimie is hungry, give them to her," Lydia ordered.
She's dumbfounded. They already said that they've finished having dinner, now they were taking her supper. Hesitant, Ca.s.sie gave the food to Mimie which she was starving already. Left hopeless, Ca.s.sie prepares another meal for herself.
"Ca.s.sie, can't you hurry? I am starving, I need food now."
Ca.s.sie presses her lips. There is no use if she complains. Everything still unclear to her, and so she can't engage a fight yet. Her Uncle Martin was out of the city regarding his work and will just come home the next day after tomorrow. If she complains now, might it kicked her out, and that is not good for her situation if she's gone astray right now. The sky is gloomy again, it looks like it will rain again tonight.
Quinn, where are you? She sighed. Tears are about to fall from her eyes. She is becoming living in despair. She needed him to take her away from here.

They were at the West Wing of the mansion where the pool located and there is a kitchen extension built especially for grilling but also for the usual meal.
"Good morning!" Landon greeted happily.
The older adults who gathered at the breakfast table look at each other. It seems Landon doesn't remember if the scene he did last night. They thought.
"Looks like, you have forgotten what happen last night," Henry teases him.
"Really? Did something happen last night?" he asked innocently. Hannah, who just listened, shook her head.
Later she figures out that Landon was only acting last night. Instead, he went to an all-out-war of his life who claimed the victor.
Well, in her marriage with Landon one thing she proves. Men are easily making them happy. Three factors feel like they conquered the world and that by pleases them, s.e.x, and love.
So then, as she was in love with her husband; it is why she wanted to please him through s.e.x.
