"I can tell you, but . . . " Shen Kui struggled to say while gritting his teeth .

"You aren't qualified to negotiate with me," interrupted Jiang Lius.h.i.+ coldly .

Shen Kui remained silent for a while before he finally spoke . "We found a damaged s.p.a.ces.h.i.+p in the relic…"

After listening to Shen Kui's description, Jiang Lius.h.i.+ felt excited . 's.p.a.ces.h.i.+p, it's true!"

Genesis may have found the s.p.a.ces.h.i.+p, but Sta.r.s.eed, the core that could control it was missing . Sta.r.s.eed was also damaged and had been searching all that time for a compatible host . Only after finding and integrating with Jiang Lius.h.i.+, did its restoration process began .

After learning everything about the lost civilization's relic, Jiang Lius.h.i.+ wanted to know everything about Genesis and the Weapons they possessed . Under Ran Xiyu's supervision, Shen Kui recounted everything he knew .

At last, Shen Kui stared at Jiang Lius.h.i.+ pitifully . "Mr . Jiang, I've told you everything I know . Could you let me go?"

"Do you think it's possible?" replied Jiang Lius.h.i.+ . "Back in the Sword Club, when you sent the bats to attack us, did you harbor any thoughts of sparing us? What about Long Teng's members, my compatriots? Did you care about them at all?" Jiang Lius.h.i.+'s voice was getting colder the longer he spoke .

Finally, Shen Kui succ.u.mbed to despair . He ground his teeth, and his energy fluctuations increased vigorously . Even so, he was not courageous enough to fight against Jiang Lius.h.i.+ again .

Jiang Lius.h.i.+ pointed at Shen Kui's face with the six-barreled Vulcan, and merely from its sight, the latter's body turned weak and limp . Then, Jiang Lius.h.i.+ pulled the trigger, and Shen Kui's head burst open with raging blood flowing out of it . One of Genesis' mighty Advocates, Shen Kui, lost his life just like that in an unremarkable garage before fleeing with his tail between his legs .

Jiang Lius.h.i.+ looked at Shen Kui's body and shook his head . This Advocate was far inferior to Tsukuyomi .

"Brother Jiang, what about the relic and Weapons you mentioned earlier?" asked Li Yuxin while treating Jiang Lius.h.i.+ .

"We should go to the relic . Besides, I'd like to search for Genesis' Chancellor and fight him," he replied .

Even before doomsday, Genesis started developing a great force and lay low in antic.i.p.ation . When it was time, the organization emerged and swiftly cast its ambitious nets across the world .

Although Jiang Lius.h.i.+ had killed Shen Hai, Tsukuyomi, and Shen Kui - three of the 11 Advocates - he had to kill the Chancellor, or else Genesis would not fall .

Suddenly, Jiang Lius.h.i.+ looked outside, dashed out like a bolt of lightning, and grabbed a person standing outside . That person let out a gentle scream but didn't resist . It was Angelica, and Jiang Lius.h.i.+ was clutching her shoulder tightly .  

"What are you doing?" asked Jiang Lius.h.i.+ with a frown . He stared at the emaciated-looking Angelica, whose eyes were quite big . Jiang Lius.h.i.+ felt as if he was lifting a cat .

Angelica blinked . "I didn't come to eavesdrop on your conversation . I only approached after hearing the gunshots . You've killed Shen Kui, right?" she asked .

"Yes, do you want to avenge him?" asked Jiang Zhuying .

"No, of course not! Since you've killed him, I consider you as my savior," replied Angelica with a smile .

Jiang Lius.h.i.+ frowned again as he could not understand Angelica's thoughts . She Kui was her boss, so after killing him, how could she consider Jiang Lius.h.i.+ as her savior?

"Don't mind what I said . You just need to know that I'll help you to the best of my abilities with any request you might have," explained Angelica .

Jiang Lius.h.i.+ didn't delve deeper in the matter after hearing that . Although Angelica looked delicate as a doll, Jiang Lius.h.i.+ didn't have a good impression of her . In his mind, Angelica was a strange fellow . As long as she didn't provoke him, he would bother with her .

"I happen to need a few things, and you can help me find them . As long as you find everything, we will leave your base and won't bother you anymore," said Jiang Lius.h.i.+ . He was a reasonable man that could distinguish the good from the bad .

Soon, Angelica wrote down everything Jiang Lius.h.i.+ needed . "Well, I'll search for these as soon as possible . " No matter how much Angelica racked her brain, she could not understand why Jiang Lius.h.i.+ needed all those things in the list .

"Don't worry . I'll find everything," repeated Angelica and bowed to Jiang Lius.h.i.+ .

Angelica nodded . Then, she invited Jiang Lius.h.i.+ and his teammates to stay in her manor . However, Jiang Lius.h.i.+ refused and just ordered Ying to drive his tour bus to an open s.p.a.ce outside of Chukyi Base . Living on the tour bus was the best choice, and it was safe with an excellent accommodation environment .

Naturally, Angelica was stunned to hear that they lived on the tour bus . After giving it further thought, she realized it was normal . After all, Jiang Lius.h.i.+ could kill a level-3 mutant zombie barehanded .

"Don't bother them, and cla.s.sify their residing place as a restricted area . No one is allowed to get close to them," ordered Angelica . She didn't want any reckless fellow to bother a malevolent existence such as Jiang Lius.h.i.+ and ruin her image in the latter's eyes . Angelica believed that as long as she had the chance, she could make Jiang Lius.h.i.+ feel that her kindness was genuine .

"Post the announcement immediately and collect these resources as fast as possible . " Angelica handed the list to her subordinate, ordered him to copy it and then hand it to every paranormal in their base .

Soon, the first batch of materials and mutant nuclei were sent to Jiang Lius.h.i.+ . The latter stored all the materials first and then opened a box, in which were five level-2 mutant nuclei . Seeing them, a huge grin appeared on his face . It was evident that Angelica was quite efficient . Although they were only five nuclei in the box, Jiang Lius.h.i.+ knew that Angelica was doing her very best to please him .
