After spotting Shen Kui's team, Ran Xiyu asked Ying to follow them from afar so that they wouldn't discover them . Although they knew where Shen Kui's team was headed, they didn't know of their specific location . But it didn't really matter, as sooner or later Jiang Lius.h.i.+ and his team would find them .

Although there were many zombies in the outer circle of Chukyo, they didn't pose any threat to Jiang Lius.h.i.+'s MCV . After driving about half an hour, Ran Xiyu spotted a few people .

"I found someone," said Ran Xiyu the moment their spiritual lights appeared in her vision . "They have a dozen people, and only five of them are paranormals . They must be a survivors' team," she added .

"Since Shen Kui and the important figures have appeared here, there must be a base similar to the Sword Club . Maybe this group is from there . Let's go and ask them," said Jiang Lius.h.i.+ .

"Ying!" shouted Jiang Lius.h.i.+, looking at her .

Ying understood Jiang Lius.h.i.+'s intention immediately . Then, she stepped on the gas, and the tour bus suddenly issued a loud engine sound .

Currently, the big mutant beast was keenly sensitive to danger, so it abruptly turned and stared at Jiang Lius.h.i.+'s tour bus with bloodshot eyes . All of its spikes stood erected, and it pressed its hind legs against the ground . Cement fragments were flung around as it pounced at the tour bus .

"Be careful! The spikes are harder than steel, and they can pierce-" screamed the strongest girl . She had discovered the tour bus but had not expected that the driver would be so rush to provoke the beast .

Truth be told, this team had lured the mutant beast to this area due to terrain advantages and to make it consume its energy . Even they didn't dare to fight against it directly .

Jiang Lius.h.i.+ sneered, and then he said, "The poor beast took the initiative to attack us, eh? Ying, speed up!"

Ying nodded and accelerated . The tour bus was like a released arrow, which was way faster than the mutant beast . In the next instant, they collided, and the sound generated from the collision was enough to almost leave the survivors deaf .

Everyone felt scared when they heard that sound . But what truly shocked them was what followed next . As soon as the mutant beast collided with the tour bus, its skull burst open and blood gushed from its horrifying wound in every direction .

If that were not enough, the beast was sent flying, crossing more than ten meters before cras.h.i.+ng on the ground . Before its body stopped rolling on the ground, it squashed many mutant zombies in its path .  

The survivors were slack-jawed from what transpired . The strong girl was also stunned . They were unable to comprehend it as everything happened too fast . The spikes on top of the mutant beasts were destroyed, while its skull was almost shattered . Its entire head was deformed, with an ugly wound on it . It was apparent that the mutant beast was deader than dead!

The girl looked at Jiang Lius.h.i.+'s tour bus, dumbfounded . 'Impossible! Why is there not even a dent on the tour bus? What kind of vehicle is this?' She had never seen or heard of a vehicle like that .

Soon, the tour bus' door opened, and the girl saw a handsome young man accompanied by several beautiful maidens getting out of it .

"The mutant beast is yours . But, may I take one of its spikes?" asked the girl while looking at Jiang Lius.h.i.+ who was approaching her .

Jiang Lius.h.i.+ waved his hand and answered, "We don't need them, you can have them . "

"Eh? No, you killed…hit it," said the girl, feeling like she was dreaming . How could such a powerful mutant beast be killed so easily?

"I wanted to take one of its spikes because it destroyed one of our vehicles, killing three members of our team, so…"

"We'll do like this, I'll keep the mutant nucleus, as for anything else it's yours," said Jiang Lius.h.i.+ . Before the girl refused, he added, "Even if we didn't help, you'd kill it in the end . Don't worry . Actually, it's us that interrupted your hunt . "

"Oh, thanks . Obedience is better than politeness," replied the girl and bowed . She estimated that s.h.i.+ Ying Squad wasn't short on mutant meat as they could kill such a mutant beast without breaking a sweat .

Then, the girl called all of her members and ordered them to divide the mutant beast's body . Not long after, she walked toward Jiang Lius.h.i.+ with a mutant nucleus in her hands .

"Here you are . You were right, we would sooner or later kill it, but it would take a lot of time to do so, and more casualties would be inevitable . Thank you very much," said the girl politely .

Jiang Lius.h.i.+ was a little bit embarra.s.sed after getting thanked so many times .

"Don't mind . I'd like to ask you something if possible . You are Chinese, right?" asked the girl suddenly .

Jiang Lius.h.i.+ wasn't surprised by her question . Although he had learned how to speak j.a.panese on an acceptable level due to his powerful brain domain, he had just learned its simplest usage . It was hard to avoid grammatical mistakes when speaking, and his accent was a dead giveaway that he was not a native speaker . Jiang Lius.h.i.+ didn't want to dodge the question, so he nodded affirmatively .

"Are you all Chinese?" asked the girl while looking at Ran Xiyu and the other girls .

"Of course, we are," answered Jiang Zhuying .

"You are so beautiful . Except for Sister Angelica, you are the most beautiful girls we've encountered . If you have any issues, feel free to tell me . Oh, where are my manners? I'm called Morita Tomiko . You can call me Tomiko," said the girl .

"Well, Ms . Tomiko, actually, we'd like to join the security are . Therefore, could you lead the way for us…" said Jiang Lius.h.i.+ embarra.s.sedly .

He noticed that Tomiko was not only curious about them but also too enthusiastic . It was like they were old friends . At the same time, Tomiko kept staring at the tour bus . It was clear that she wanted to ask about it, but she didn't know if it was appropriate .

"Oh, do you want to join the Chukyo Base? You are powerful so you will become very popular in our base! I can lead you to our base's management office . I'm acquainted with Sister Angelica over there," explained Tomiko quickly .

Jiang Lius.h.i.+ was rendered speechless after listening to her reasoning .

Tomiko asked, "Oh, Mr . Jiang, from what kind of materials is your tour bus made of? How could it be so powerful? It would be quite easy for you to catch a cute mutant panda . . . "

Tomiko's reasoning shocked Jiang Lius.h.i.+ once again, but he still answered, "Special alloy! If we encounter a cute panda, it will indeed be easy…" Then, he noticed that Ran Xiyu and Li Yuxin were staring at him fervently .  

"Pandas are actually fierce animals…" muttered Jiang Lius.h.i.+ .

After chatting with each other, Jiang Lius.h.i.+ had a general understanding of the situation in Chukyo Base . The base's management was relatively strict, and it had its own guard team .
