Mu Chang asked coldly as he looked at her.

Qin Jieli frowned as she stared at him

Why does it look like he's dissatisfied that she's here?

Shouldn't he be happy?

Mu Chang threw the wine gla.s.s on the floor as it cracks into pieces.

"I asked you a question!"

Qin Jieli stepped back because she was afraid.

She has never seen Mu Chang behave like this.

"I...I just came to check on you."

Mu Chang stepped towards her as he asked

"Why?"

Qin Jieli looked at her toes

"I saw you arguing with Ru s.h.i.+ so I thought you needed someone to talk to."

Mu Chang chuckled as he looked at her.

"Someone, to talk to? What makes you think I wanna talk to the person responsible for our fight?"

Qin Jieli looked up when she heard him.

The anger, pain and disappointment in his eyes scared her.

She felt an inexplicable danger.

"You...I thought we're still friends?"

Mu Chang snorted

"Well, not anymore. Also, I'm fine. If you're done you can leave."

Mu Chang said.

The moment he turned to walk away Qin Jieli hugged him from behind.

"How can you ignore me? I only came to give you company like in the past.

Anytime you're feeling sad I was always around. Why now?!"

Mu Chang felt his back wet with tears

He grabbed her hands and removed it from his waist. He turned to look at her.

"That's in the past. I think it's best if you forget about that stuff. I've moved on so you should too"

He said calmly

Qin Jieli's hands trembled

"Moved on? With a girl who doesn't even appreciate you. She's just a gold digger....."

"Qin Jieli!!!"

Mu Chang shouted her name as he interrupted her.

"So what if she is? At least she's better than someone who left me for two years with contacting me and never thought about my feelings. Don't ever call her a gold digger. Do you hear?"

Qin Jieli clenched her fist as she stared at him.

"Li Mu Chang are you forgetting what I did for you? You're very ungrateful!

He said calmly as he looked at her.

"You've helped me. I appreciate it a lot. If you need anything you can call me but from now onwards we are strangers. I wanted to treat you like a sister but now I can't. It's good that you showed your true feelings today or else I wouldn't believe Ru s.h.i.+ when she told me that you still love me and there's no way you'll let me go."

He smiled sadly as he stared at her.

"You can only blame yourself for this Qin Jieli. You disappointed me first.

You can't just leave and expect me to wait for you without telling me."

Qin Jieli face was now wet with tears.

"But...I told you the reason."

Mu Chang looked into her eyes as he spoke.

"I know but it's too late. I don't love you anymore."

Qin Jieli stumbled back when she heard him.

"No, no I don't believe it. You're just drunk. You need to remember our time together then you'll realize that you still love me. "

Suddenly Mu Chang felt her lips on his. Mu Chang stiffened as a nostalgic feeling washed over him. Because he was quite surprised it took a few seconds for him to respond

Qin Jieli felt happy as she saw Mu Chang didn't push her away

So he really does like her. She knows that witch must have seduced him.

She just needs to let him remember their time together then he'll surely come back.

Mu Chang pushed her away when he realized what has just happened.

He used the back of his hand to wipe his lips.

"You...!"

Qin Jieli got angry as she saw him wiping his lips profusely as if she's dirty!

"This should be the last time you attempt something like that or you'll regret it."

Mu Chang glared at her as he said

"And oh listen carefully because I won't repeat it. I don't love you. Ru s.h.i.+ is the one I love and I'll surely get her back. I don't know how or when but she can only be mine. "

Hatred filled Qin Jieli's eyes when she heard him.

"Now leave, due to our past relations.h.i.+p I'll pretend this, never happened. Also, I've let them terminate our contract. The less I see you the best it'll be for everyone. I hope you find someone else."

After Mu Chang said this. He walked away leaving Qin Jieli on the balcony alone.
