The moment she turned, she heard the doorbell ringing.

She turned to Mu Chang.

"Its really late, who could it be?"

Mu Chang wrinkled his brows. Who would come here so late in the night?

"I don't know."

"Let's go and check."

Ru s.h.i.+ checked the monitor and saw three men on the screen. She felt that the one in front looked vaguely familiar.

"How may I help you?"

The three people except w.a.n.g Lu were shocked as they heard the woman on the monitor.

So it was really true. Mu Chang really was living with a woman.

"h.e.l.lo, do you remember me? I saw you today at the café. I'm w.a.n.g Lu.These are my friends and we are looking for Li Mu Chang. We're his close friends," w.a.n.g Lu said with a smile.

He glanced at the display and switched it off.

"They said they're your friends, so why are you ignoring them?"

Have they just been ignored? The three men could not believe what just what happened.

"Let's go I will tell you who she is."

The next morning when Ru s.h.i.+ came downstairs, she saw Mu Chang sitting on the sofa lazily reading the newspaper.

"Aren't you going to work?" Ru s.h.i.+ asked .

Mu Chang looked up and saw her coming down.

"No. Come and eat. After that I'll take you somewhere."

"Where? I have cla.s.s in the afternoon."

"I know. We won't be long".

This morning Li Yi called and told him that she had applied to an art school before going out with Feng Lu.

Because she knew that his mother would not like an artist for a daughter in law, she chose a business school instead.

After she finished eating, they left.

When they reached their destination, she saw that the place was a great landscape.

She could hear the birds chirping, the sound of the river and when she looked up, she saw a cabin in the middle.

"Wow!! How did you find such a place? Its beautiful!" Ru s.h.i.+ said as she scanned the area.

"Li Mu, you've come," A voice said behind them.

Turning around, she saw a middle aged man coming towards them. His face was stern.

"Mr. Yan, good morning."

"Good morning. Is she the one you were talking about?"

"Yeah. Ru s.h.i.+ please meet Mr. Yan."

"h.e.l.lo, nice to meet you," says Ru s.h.i.+.

"Mr. Yan is a world cla.s.s painter. He has won a couple of awards and he owns his own art gallery in the States. If you're able to pa.s.s his test, which I know you will, he'll be your teacher."

The moment Ru s.h.i.+ heard him she stiffened.

"World cla.s.s painter? Teacher?" she asked

"What are you talking about?"Ru s.h.i.+ continued.

"I know your love for art, so I invited him to come and help you. But h.e.l.l only teach you if you can impress him. "

"Yeah Miss Ru, if you want to be my student then it have to be based on your own abilities."

"OK....what do you want me to do?"

"Come with me," beckoned Mr Yan.

Ru s.h.i.+ turned to Mu Chang

"Go with him, I'll wait for you here."

When Ru s.h.i.+ entered the cabin, she saw paintings hanging on the wall. They were beautiful. She could identify all sorts the emotions from them.

No wonder he's world cla.s.s .

"Here, next week Friday you should have finished reading everything"

Ru s.h.i.+ stared at the pile of books in front of her. She thought he would let her draw and see her skills but he gave her books to read?

As if he could read her thoughts he said coldly, "You need basic knowledge first."

"Oh, I see," Ru s.h.i.+ replied.

"I hope you can read English, because the books are all in English".

That is when Ru s.h.i.+ realized that all the books were in English. Thankfully her mother taught her English from a young age. She never knew why her mother taught her English and French but now she was really grateful that she did.

"Yeah, I can"

He put the books in a bag for her, since the books were more than ten.

"Good, see you next week. Don't be late".

"You want me to finish all of these by next week?"

"Why, you don't want to?"

"Oh, no! I will definitely learn."

Mr Yan snorted and his expression was more serious.

"Drawing is challenging but necessary craft, especially if you want to be become a proficient painter. So I hope you aren't lazy".

Ru s.h.i.+ accepted them and came out.

When Ru s.h.i.+ came out she saw Mu Chang waiting for her.

"How did it go?"

"Well, he gave me books to go and read. Next week he'll a.s.sess me."

"OK, let's go. I know you're intelligent you'll definitely surprise him".

Mu Chang glanced at his watch.

"It is still early. Let's eat before we go back".

"OK."

Ru s.h.i.+ glanced at the window as she fell into her thoughts.

She has to say that she was really happy. She has always wanted to be a artist but circ.u.mstances did not allow her to pursue it.

She thought she had to bury those dreams but now he had given her a chance and the opportunity to achieve this dream once again.

She turned her head and stared at him, she was grateful to G.o.d for making her meet him.

She does not know what the future has in store for them but if he never let go of her, then she would never leave him either.

"Kitten, you know staring at me like that will make me think that you're raping me inside your head. Its not like I mind though. I mean who doesn't want to seduced by a charming woman like you huh?"

Mu Chang chuckled as he said.

Ru s.h.i.+ rolled her eyes at him.

"Thank you," Ru s.h.i.+ said after a moment of silence.

"For what?" Mu Chang asked as he glanced at her.

"Don't say thank you, after all, my woman deserves the best"

Ru s.h.i.+'s heart skipped a beat when she heard him call her his woman.

"But, you know if you're really grateful you can show it in a very s.e.xy way you know."

You can wear a s.e.xy maid's outfit while you lie on my bed when I come home tonight." Mu Chang said as he winked at her.

"You..!"

Ru s.h.i.+ playfully pushed him.

"Careful kitten, you wouldn't want your future husband to be deformed by an accident. It would reduce my performance and we wouldn't want that. Right?"

Ru s.h.i.+ blushed when she heard him.

Mu Chang laughed when he saw her face so red.
