Chapter 3941 Return

Chapter 3941 Return

BANNNG!

The back of my sword hit the bird hard, sending it toward the ground.

It crashed, creating a huge crater.

It stayed there for a few seconds before getting up and flapping its wings.

It retreated, and quite fast at that, but I didn't chase it. I watched it disappear and flew toward the lake a few minutes away from here.

I had no interest in killing the monsters who were retreating.

If it had come back to me. I would have killed it, but since it was retreating, I had let it go.

It is a wonderful realm. I wish I had more time to spend here, but I couldn't.

Still, I am grateful for the time I had to spend here. It has given me a lot. A successful breakthrough, resources, and monsters, of course.

I had collected a lot of monsters. They would be enough for me for years, given how powerful they are.

The weakest monster, I had collected was stronger than the bees. So, I won't need to worry about it for a long while.

I moved stealthily, avoiding any monster. I had come across.

There are many, some are pretty powerful.

Soon, I reached the lake and was immediately surprised that the lake had been occupied by another monster.

It is as powerful as the snake and looks at how things are. It seemed to have suppressed the other monsters already.

I looked for a few seconds, before stopping in front of the gate.

I tapped on it, and it became visible.

It was forged by my clone and had a stealth function. I looked at the connection and seeing stable, stepped into it.

Step!

I walked out on the other side and the first thing I did was to check the gate and a few other things; I had placed around it.

'No one is here,' I thought.

It made me feel relieved as now, I would be able to spin the story the way, I want. If the gate had been discovered by others, things would have become a little tricky.

I removed the gate and began to check on the other spatial anomalies.

A few hours later, I had found a thing. That put a smile on my face. It will make the excuse a lot more believable.

It was nearly midnight; I had finished with my job. Cataloging, all the spatial anomalies.

I didn't leave immediately. Instead, I summoned the abode and practiced my methods, before sleeping.

The next day, I took a long shower and ate a sumptuous breakfast. I spent two hours in my core before getting out of the abode and starting the journey toward the Avros.

I really don't want to return to the Avros.

It is not discovery, I feared, but the mist. I really don't like it despite all its benefits.

Unfortunately, there is no choice. I have to return and take the mist. This time, it might be more since I had made a breakthrough.

I am not sure, how the mist will respond, but I have made the preparations for it.

They wouldn't suspect the thing, given how thorough I was.

Hun!

Three hours pa.s.sed, when I some someone familiar coming toward me. A minute and a half later, he discovered me.

Ranis needed some more time to discover him before I flew toward him as he was coming toward me.

"Captain Rahal," I greeted the man and nodded at the High-Sky Sovereign woman beside him.

"Ranis, where were you? The organization is worried about you, that they had sent us looking for you," asked the man.

The organization didn't care about me; the organization cared about me being turned or spilling the secrets.

It's why, they sent these two so quickly to search for me when I didn't return in time.

"Well, it's a long story," I replied.

The man kept looking at me. I smiled and began to explain what had happened.

I didn't lie entirely; I just added and removed some things to mold the story to my benefit.

"So, you are saying it is a broken realm and there are two gates to it?" he asked, and I nodded with a shudder.

"It's a powerful realm, with its danger climbing to Level 7 when it had rained," I replied, which surprised both of them, and their hearts shuddered.

It is dangerous to even them.

"How do you survive, then?" asked and sighed once again.

"This precious treasure is now nearly spent," I replied. Take out a leaf-shaped crystal, which already has faint cracks on it.

"Inform the organization, when you are in range. That we had gone to explore it," he said, and the woman nodded.

"I would not stop you, captain, since I myself went there, but I would say be careful,"

"There are monsters there, who could chomp both of you out in a single bite. I had also seen the clear signs of people in there," I cautioned.

"Don't worry, Ranis. We will be careful," he replied, and he flew away with a woman.

I shook my head.

They shouldn't go there. That realm is extremely dangerous for people like them. It is only for the Peak Sky Sovereigns or those with that power.

Even average Peak Sky Sovereigns aren't safe in that realm; only someone of my strength is.

I watched them for a couple of seconds before resuming my journey.

Two hours later. I got into the range and informed the organization of what happened in short words, including Captain Rahal and the woman leaving toward it.

A couple of more messages came, asking me to provide detailed information, which I did.

Except for a few things, I didn't plan to hide anything.

Avros isn't a bad organization. Even those who chose the mist didn't have any idea what it was about. To most of them, it was something with a significant benefit.

Only a few are getting the wrong feeling about it, but even they don't have any choice but to continue despite feeling what they are feeling.frewebnoel.com
