Chapter 3574 Ending The Abomination
We avoided the tentacles through our methods and defended those we couldn't dodge as it attacked.
A spindle needle of metal begins to form in front of me.
It is forming quite slowly.
So slowly that I could have summoned thousands of them by now. Even my eyes got attracted to the tiny thing and wanted to destroy it, but I had protected it by defending and dodging the attacks.
The Eye seemed to feel the danger of it and spent considerable tentacles to attack me, but they were not able to touch the needle in front of me.
The giant eye might suspect or even see what I am doing, but I am not the only one who is fighting it. There are five more who are resisting its attacks and have even formed a semblance of teamwork to attack it.
Even when the Grimms wanted to score more; they also realized they couldn't do anything to it, without the native's help.
As they started to work, together, more and more their attacks began to hit the eye and they are having better coordination to deal with its attack.
Especially that grey beam; the most dangerous of its attack.
BANNNG!
I defended against its lightning-fast tentacles; it was so fast that I was barely able to defend against it.
It is a good thing I did before I had not; it would have hit the small needle forming in front of me.
The defense had cost me; I had vomited the blood with the pieces of the flesh in it. It was a powerful attack, and I am really glad, that these bronze energy constructs are powerful enough to defend against it.
Still, I am only dodging and defending, compared to others who are attacking the eye and even done damage to it.
However, it is happening more slowly than one would expect.
The eye is far better at taking the damage than we had thought, and those grey beams of it are extremely dangerous. Everybody is avoiding them like the plague, including the women, who have taken a beam and now only using long-range attacks.
Her attacks are quite powerful; the stormy attack of wind and lightning is doing the greatest damage of all.
She is relentless, going near to the eye than anyone else and dodging the attack from it every time, by a really close distance.
One and a half minutes more pa.s.sed, and the palm side needle finished.
I didn't immediately launch it and instead placed it by my hand and joined the battle. I started to launch the metallic spears at it, powered by the fire and wind.
It had defended most, but some were able to hit the giant eyes.
I have packed quite a lot of power in them, but to it; it was like a bite of ant. It is painful, but not dangerous unless thousands of them hit it within a minute, which couldn't.
h.e.l.l, I couldn't produce thousands of spears of that quality within a minute, much less. .h.i.t it with it.
BANNNG!
The woman's attack hit it hard; she had launched a literal storm at it. The attack was far more powerful than anything she or others were able to launch until now.
AREEEE AREEEE AREEEE
It screamed loudly, sending out powerful soul attacks. They shook our souls, but we have gotten used to them, that we were able to move and defend against the tentacles that came with them.
The woman is getting targeted the most.
So much so that it had launched the three grey beams in a second. It had not done that before, and everyone noted it down.
The woman dodged all three attacks with incredible grace and a way that she had not used before, but clearly, it was draining for her, seeing how she had slowed down after that.
If not for the two of the natives protecting her for a few seconds; she would have been dealt by the tentacles.
Time pa.s.sed, and we continued fighting, doing more and more damage to the eyes. However, it didn't seem to be enough despite it being piling up slowly.
It felt like we might not be able to last, and I am not the only one who is feeling that.
'Don't hold back, use everything you have,' said the three-eyed man, as he furiously began to launch the attacks at the eye. Even took a grey beam that put him out of commission for half a minute.
This time, it was me, and the woman protected him.
Minutes pa.s.sed before finally my eyes flashed, and I became ready. My eyes moved, searching for the opportunity, and it didn't take long for it to arrive.
'I am going to launch another attack, cover me!' said the woman, and she moved, while we began to launch the powerful attacks at the eye.
The other's attacks are powerful, mine are weaker compared to them.
So much that Crockman cursed me useless.
"Die!"
She screamed once again and swung her halberd toward the eyes, sending out a condensed storm of wind and lightning at the eye.
AREEEEE AREEEEE AREEEEE
This time, the attack was at least thrice stronger than the strongest attack she had used before, and the abomination seemed to realize that too as it screamed loudly as it ever, with all the mouths concentrated at us.
At the same time, it had launched the grey beams at the woman.
'It is time,' I said the lightning storm reached the eye, and the needles moved from my hand soundlessly.
Though it was soundless and smiling, the eye noticed it and gave greater priority to the storm attack, while moving tentacles and teeth to stop the needle, but unfortunately for it, the needles couldn't be stopped.
The moment the needle left; it moved with the power of fire, wind, and lightning.
Yes, the woman isn't the only one chosen for the lightning; I had done it too. It had increased the speed of the needle, so much, that it reached the eye, the moment the storm touched the eye, before piercing inside.
There was barely any resistance.
The needle pierced inside it, and a great shock appeared in the eye. This shock was not due to the lightning storm covering it.
At that moment, it did something; it had never done. It concentrated all the soul energy of itself into the eye.
I could tell what it was trying to do, but unfortunately, it is too d.a.m.n left. It shouldn't have done that when I had released my needle; it might have been able to stop what was going to happen, but now, it had no chance.
BOOOOM!
A deafening boom rang out, bigger than anyone had dreamed.
It was big, and sent a shower of blood, gore, and energy in all directions; that it had blinding with coppery energy everywhere.
It took a moment for everything to clear and when it did; there was shock on everyone's faces. Many of them expected the damage, seeing the blood and gore, but not to this level.
Over 90% of the eye is gone.
Everybody looked at me in shock, not believing something could damage the eyes to such a degree, and even I was somehow shocked.
I thought it would take half an eye.
It seemed like, I had underestimated the explosive formation made of ancient runes and six elemental energies.
The smile on my face turned sheepish, and I turned back to the eyes.
'We have yet to kill it,' I said, and a moment later. We all moved toward the eye, to finish, the unfished job, that my needle had left behind.
