Chapter 3544 Inheritance Finished
Eight and a half hours have pa.s.sed since I had left the circle, and I have crossed quite a large distance.
I have even killed three Grimms; unfortunately, they didn't have a bloodline. Though they might not have the bloodline, they had pretty good things in their storage.
A few of the things were from the places I wanted to visit, but couldn't.
If I continued my journey at such a pace, I would be able to get out of this place in two days. Though it would be challenging; the last leg, takes a lot of time.
It might even take a lot more time than I had imagined.
I pushed the thought away and continued with my journey and did it for forty-seven minutes, before suddenly stopping with a huge smile, on my face.
"It is finished," I said with joy-filled voice.
The inheritance is finished.
I looked around before entering my core. I immediately appeared at the door of the library, before entering inside; there were four of my clones, who had already started checking it for the mistakes.
I looked at them for a moment, before turning to a copy.
The smile on my face became bigger because the inheritance had more than double the ancient runes used in it and the formation was a little more complex than the previous.
The previous ones have also been improved by me and the clone.
Now, the ancient formation contains 2% of the inheritance. 2.1% to be exact, which is more than 0.92%, in my Sovereign upgrade.
The number was small, but it had brought a tremendous effect.
This upgrade will bring even greater change. Now, I know how the ancient runes interact with common runes in the inheritance and make changes according to it.
The thing that benefits me most, is that my knowledge of the ancient runes has increased by leaps.
The study has its benefits, but it will help tremendously when you use the runes in the real world. Especially in complex things such as inheritance, the challenge really helps to take the understanding to the next level.
The inheritance is finished, but it would need to go through the checks. While there are barely any problems with clones, looking at everything, still it is necessary.
The clones are not omnipotent, they also make mistakes, and I don't want any mistakes in my inheritance.
Some of the mistakes could kill the host.
Every year, many hosts of inheritance die, because of the mistake they make in their inheritance.
Just three years ago; one had died, and it is why, there is a strict rule for the hosts of inheritance to make the breakthrough in the secure locations.
I wanted to help my clone with the inspection, but I have a journey to make. So, I sighed with regret, stepped out of my core, and resumed my journey to the exit.
Three and a half hours pa.s.sed, and I continued with my journey. Stopped only when I would come across the dangerous monster, native or the Grimms.
There are a lot of them here and most of them are making their way toward the exit.
I am glad this section of the pale city is covered in sensory suppressive corruption, or I would have needed to move far slower than I am moving right now.
It is one of the reasons why, I have chosen this route.
Hun!
A minute pa.s.sed when suddenly, one of my soul waves caught something in the distance. The information it brought wasn't as detailed as I liked, but what it brought made my eyes light up.
I wasted not even a second and began to make a way toward, what I had sensed.
It took me a little over twenty-minutes, but I reached it and there was a battle between the two groups. One group is native, with five people and the other is a Grimms with nine.
The natives seemed to be holding themselves against the Grimms, but Grimms had an edge, and the natives were just defending.
Looking at the signs; it seemed to be going on for at least an hour, with two Grimms and one native seemed to have been killed.
I looked at the Grimms and couldn't help, but curse; of the nine Grimms. There is only one with the bloodline and this Grimm is one I had sensed when I was entering the circle.
High-Earth Sovereign Frost Horned Chimpman.
It is quite powerful that even with my increase in strength, I wouldn't be able to stand against it, much less defeat it.
To make matters worse, they are fighting over the plain ground, not over the ruins of a building or something. I couldn't get close to the fight without getting discovered in this favorable, sensory-suppressive corruption.
Still, despite that, I want the Grimm. I had finished the inheritance and with it, I will be able to reach the limit.
It will, beyond doubt, take me to the limit.
h.e.l.l, I am so close that even Initial Earth-Sovereigns bloodline essence would be enough for me.
So, I took the risk that might kill me and ran toward the battle; within a second, they noticed me. However, there wasn't change on the Grimm's face, seeing the aura flaring.
Though the natives look optimistic.
Soon, I reached the battlefield and moved the Grimms; it sensed me and immediately separated from the twin-tailed man, which it had ganged up with another Grimm.
The Grey Scaled Crockman, of the High-Earth Sovereign stage, came at me with the dark green-toothed blade of huge size.
"Die, you filthy native!" it roared and swung the blade with its full power, wanting to finish me with a single attack.
Burst 100%.
"Not yet, little crock!" I said back and swung the spear toward it, with the power of the burst flowing into my veins.
CLANNNG!
My tiny spear clashed against the huge blade of the Crockman, creating a powerful shockwave at the same time, caving the ground both of us were standing.
