Chapter 3521 No, You Will Not
"Well, it is unexpected," I said as I looked at the chaotic scene in front of me.
There are broken formations everywhere, things littered on the ground, and some complete formations.
This place is for seeds, and they are not normal seeds. If it had been some normal seeds, it wouldn't have cost three key points to open.
No, all the seeds are precious. Most of them are not for planting, they could be planted, but is extremely hard to do it.
They are resources that could be used directly, like herbs and flowers, and are extremely precious. Now I am seeing more than half of them have been spoiled because formations storing them properly had been degraded.
Seeing the scene, I am feeling regretful and scared, as it is dangerous, but there is also excitement in my eyes.
If this place had been perfectly fine, I wouldn't have been able to take more than one unit of things, but now I could take far more.
It is extremely dangerous seeing there are broken formations floating everywhere around me, but there is a huge chance of this danger, and I would be dammed if I returned without some benefits.
I had spent a lot of time in solving the formation; a time which would have been spent on working on the inheritance.
Not to mention the powerful Sky Sovereign grade.
I took a deep breath into my armor, and the strings began to release from my hand. There are tens of them, and they are spreading everywhere around me.
Using the strings is the best strategy.
They are the sneakiest things I have. So sneaky that even when they pa.s.s through the methods of Peak Earth-Sovereigns and bind their bodies, they don't discover them.
They moved, and soon, a string touched the first thing; a black peanut with amethyst crystalline veins on it.
It touched it, and the black peanut had disappeared.
The string beside it touched another peanut, which was clearly spoiled, and it disappeared as well.
It didn't matter to me whether their condition was good or spoiled. Even the spoiled ones have their uses; at worst, they could be turned into fertilizer.
A fertilizer made of these things would be of quite a great quality.
My strings touched the other seeds, and they began to disappear into my core. Within seconds, I had collected hundreds of things, and this was just the beginning.
As time pa.s.sed, they began to collect more and more things.
When some got out of range, the strings would bring them closer, before I could send them to my core.
Buzz!
Over twenty minutes pa.s.sed when I had finally moved from my spot. Getting deeper into the room, avoiding the broken formation, which is quite a task, seeing their numbers.
Hun!
I was moving when suddenly; I saw a broken formation coming toward me at an extremely fast speed.
I moved my head away; it pa.s.sed through just above my ears, cutting a few strands of my hair as it went.
'f.u.c.k!' I cursed loudly in my heart as I try to control my heartbeats. I really thought I would get hit by that thing. If I had, it would have been a game over for me.
It had cut through the armor, covering me without any resistance, and cut my hair.
A few more inches through the left and it would have pa.s.sed through my brain.
I pushed the harrowing thoughts away and focused on what I was doing, and soon. I had reached the place for which I had taken this dangerous journey of ten meters.
Amidst all the chaos of the broken formation. There are some things that are complete and one of those things is a stack of boxes in front of me.
I looked at it for a moment before taking one box from it. It came out smoothly, without any resistance.
I had put into my storage, where my clone had checked things, and everything was fine. The things inside are in perfect condition; these preserving formations are really good.
Looked at the whole hall and sighed, before starting to make my way toward the door.
I had everything I could and there is still a ma.s.sive fortune here and I have not taken even 10% of it, but unfortunately, I will take a risk for it.
Whatever that had remained was under the formation, broken or complete. It will be extremely risky to try for them.
While I would love nothing more than to take these resources. I love life more and I don't want to risk it, for these resources, no matter how precious they are.
It is not like; I didn't get things. I had got hundreds of times more than I had thought I would get.
I had been expecting everything to be perfect and if that had been the case, I would have been able to take one thing only and not hundreds, like I did.
It took me longer to reach the door, but I did it safely and pushed open the door before coming out.
Hun!
The moment I did, I saw the presence hiding come out. There are two of them and both are Sky Sovereigns, and they are Grimms.
Not the normal Sky Sovereigns, but High Sky Sovereigns. No wonder my waves weren't able to sense them; it is really hard to sense these b.a.s.t.a.r.ds when they are trying to hide.
Especially in an area where there is a huge energy interference due to the broken formations.
"Didn't I tell you someone had opened the door?" said Goatman, a few hundred meters away from me. "You are right," said the Snow Werewolf to its right.
"He is a treasure, with him. Opening many of the broken places wouldn't be a problem," said Goatman, and grinned.
"Listen, native, come to calmly and surrender. We only need you to break the formation of a couple of places. Once you did it, we will let you go," said Snow Werewolf.
"Right," I said with clear mocking and anger appeared in their eyes, but they controlled quickly.
"Yes, and we are even willing to swear it by our tribe," said Goatman and Snow Werewolf nodded.
"No, thank you," I replied, and could see the anger in their eyes.
"You don't have a choice. It either comes with us or we will kill you and you don't want that," said Goatman, trying to smile disarmingly, but failing miserably.
"I have an offer to leave or both of you will end up losing your lives," I said with a smile on my face.
"You b.a.s.t.a.r.d, it seemed like you will not learn till you receive the punishment," roared Snow Werewolf, and began to come at me with Goatman.
Click!
I smiled, and the key clicked behind me, and I opened the door before walking into it.
"It is useless native, we will be here when you come out," said Goatman. To that, I smiled.
"No, you will not," I said, and closed the door, but not before giving the command to over and over a hundred tiny formations, I hid in the field.
With my command, they all lit up, shocking the Grimm.
"f.u.c.k!"
The curse was last thing I heard before closing the door was a curse before everything fell silent.
