Chapter 3422 Obstruction
I hid the small dish and continued to skate over the lake.
I would have stopped, but that would make the whole thing even more suspicious. It is better to continue doing what I was doing before.
A few seconds later, I saw White Bear Beastman flying toward me, and I thought he would simply fly past, but now. He didn't and instead appeared to fly beside me.
"You are moving with purpose," he commented, appearing too close to my comfort.
"I love skating. It has been a while since I had skated like this," I replied, without much glancing at me.
"I don't think so," he said with a grin and activated the inheritance. and a spear appeared in his hand, which he moved toward me in attack.
In the same instant, the stakes released from my legs and moved ahead, while I stopped as the armor activated on my body and my sword moved toward his spear.
"CLANG!"
Our weapons clashed hard, breaking the snow underneath in an instant.
"As expected, you are not weak," he said with a grin. "I am not. So, you should just f.u.c.k off or you will pay dearly for it," I said. Looking at him angrily.
He didn't say anything and instead looked at me and even at the skates, which are still moving ahead.
"It seemed like you do not have anything, but I will not be retreating," he said, and another grin appeared on his face, and he attacked and this time, his attack is more powerful than before.
I didn't hesitate and harnessed more power and swung my sword toward the spear.
CLANNG!
His spear clashed against my sword and both of us shook, but not a single one of them took a step back and instead moved forward with another attack.
This b.a.s.t.a.r.d is going to pay for what he did.
Would it have killed him if he had just let me go? Now, we are fighting, and it might attract attention, despite the isolation effect.
Not to mention, he is not weak, but that will not matter. I will not let him go without making him pay the price.
CLANNG CLANNG CLANNG!
Our attacks clashed again and again and again. We kept attacking each other without stopping.
The grin on his face getting wider by the second while my expressions remained unchained. As I observe every move of his with six of my clones.
I want to defeat this b.a.s.t.a.r.d and for it; I am giving my all.
I had even stopped my sixth clone mid-forging. It will waste the material. It was practicing, but I do not care; the only thing I care about is dealing with this b.a.s.t.a.r.d.
"Piercing of the clouded frost!"
He shouted and attacked me with another attack; this attack seemed to gather a large amount of ice energies into the tip of his spere and I prepared according to it.
CLANNG!
The weapons clashed, and I felt the tide of frost energy coming at me, overwhelming anything that came in its path, before covering me with it.
"Hehe!"
He smiled, seeing me encased in ice, and attacked with the more powerful move.
BANG!
The ice exploded into piercing and I moved my sword to defend against the coming attack.
CLANNNG!
My sword stopped the spear and attacked, while he watched in surprise.
It may have been surprising, but there was not the slightest delay in his reaction as he defended against my attack.
Time pa.s.sed, and we attack after attack, but not a single one was able to hit the other. Forget hitting. We are not even letting the attack, get too close to us.
He is professionally trained and has the experience to back it up.
No wonder the b.a.s.t.a.r.d had been so arrogant. It makes me want to defeat him even more and I want to do it in a way which would be embarra.s.sing for him.
I will do it.
"I have wanted my first battle in a month too intense and I have to say, you have not disappointed me," he said laughingly as he defended against my attack and launched his own.
"Don't worry, I will make it even more worthwhile by defeating you," I said as I defended against his attack and launched my own.
"Nice dream," he replied as he responded.
I didn't say anything further and continued with the battle. Getting more and more data with every second.
I have enough data. I feel like I will succeed, but I didn't attack and instead continued with battle.
I will only get one chance. If I missed it, the b.a.s.t.a.r.d will surely, with his experience, a people like him know, when to continue with the battle and when to retreat.
So, the chance needed to be perfect; that in no condition, he will survive from it.
Ten more minutes pa.s.sed, and I continued fighting.
I could tell it was feeling slightly frustrated seeing he was not able to land even a single attack, despite fighting for nearly half an hour.
Though he is keeping that frustration in control.
Now!
Another minute pa.s.sed when suddenly, I saw the chance and acted immediately.
I wanted to wait for a few more minutes, but the chance was too perfect to give it a miss. I might get it if I waited.
For a moment, he didn't sense anything, till our weapons reached close and my sword moved past his spear, while I took a step forward.
At that moment, he understood what I was trying to do, and an alarm appeared in his eyes, which he instantly controlled and moved his spear toward me.
Seeing that, a smile appeared on my face, and leaned back while taking the steps forward, avoiding his very clash spear by less than an inch.
A little more, he would have been able to cut my neck.
I have avoided his spear, and my sword had reached him, and I could see the fear in his eyes, that anyone would have in his condition, but there was no regret or a plea of mercy.
Seeing that, I couldn't help but feel a respect for him.
Though that didn't stop my sword as it kept moving, crus.h.i.+ng all the defensive methods he had activated.
Finally, the last defensive method was crushed by my sword, and it reached its head.
BANG!
That's when I flicked my wrist and back my sword, hit his head hard. It was such force that it made him unconscious in an instant.
He begins to bleed from all the holes in his body as he fell down into the lake and started to go down,
It was not a simple force, but also energy, that hit the specific spot. Which will make it hard for him to wake up,.
He will not die; no one in this place die. The realm saved them a moment before that and sent them out.
I wonder whether he will be able to wake up before that happens. The chances of it are likely I have hit him pretty hard.
I looked at him for a couple of seconds before looking around and, to my surprise, felt nothing.
It seemed like the isolation effect was stronger than I had thought.
