Chapter 3016 White Door
We have reached the area, and it is different than what I had seen so far and more like what Rhaek had described.
For the first time, I am seeing the signs of the buildings. They are in a very dilapidated state; some even collapse with the slightest touch.
It is not surprising, as this ruin is old and the flow of time here is more than twenty times faster, but once destroyed, most buildings are spatial cracks, and the energy is powerful enough to erode everything in time.
The energy here is denser, as dense as that area of a few hundred meters, which had made my whole-body red.
The twelve days have given me enough time to make changes in my armor, and unlike the changes in my stealth, these are working as I had expected them to.
I could not bear this energy; though it was painful with every breath, making me feel like I was being cut by thousands of knives, it would not kill me, even if I stayed here for days.
Which is more than good enough for me.
Ten minutes and killing one monster later, we reached our destination. A black spherical building with a white door.
It is different than the rest of the buildings, which are eroded; this one is quite a great shape compared to them. There are cracks here and there, but the building is standing, with barely any sign of tear on the door
Surprisingly, no building could survive here with everything in ruin, trying to destroy it, but this did, and it couldn't make me feel curious.
A part of me was also telling me to stay away from this place.
As this building is in ruin is above the limit, and danger inside it is going to be of the same category; I shouldn't take risks when I nearly have everything; I need to make a breakthrough.
That I shouldn't be wasting my time here and instead focus everything I have on creating the inheritance.
They are wise thoughts, and I should follow them, but there are dangerous thoughts as well, which are telling me. Since this ruin is above the limit, that place might be as an artifact or a talisman of the same category, which might help in killing the Grimms.
The bad thoughts win, and I walk against the white door.
The building had no name, just the door, with a really complicated formation, which I couldn't solve immediately.
So, I copied the formation and left, fifteen minutes and one monster later. I took out my abode in another safe underground s.p.a.ce Nero had found.
The entrance is a little small that I had to crawl, but it is fine. As long as it is safe, I can control my fear of small s.p.a.ces.
Soon, I reached the end, where there was a small s.p.a.ce big enough for me to stand, which was more than enough for an abode, which I took out and crawled inside, where there was abundant s.p.a.ce.
I walked into the living room and closed my eyes, and the next moment, I appeared at the library entrance and went inside.
The formation is very complicated that I could not solve it within an hour or two. There is also the danger of the monsters, who seemed to sense me quite easily.
So, it is best I solve the formation safely, where I could even take the books as reference and use wonderful tools, thanks to the grace of Grimms.
I did not take help from my clones; they are busy, and this I could do it; it might take a little more time, without their help, but it is fine.
That building is not going anywhere, and I have no compet.i.tion who could enter the building before me.
Six hours pa.s.sed, and I was very close to solving the formation.
I am solving it faster than I had imagined; it seemed like taking the reference from the books helps a lot.
I have done this before; as usual, I did not have the books I needed on that very specific subject, but now I do, and it made everything quite easier.
Seeing that, I couldn't help but imagine the inheritance I would have been able to create if the big threat of Grimm wasn't looming in the world.
With such vast knowledge, I would have been able to create inheritance at the level I would never have dreamed of, and I would still do it with the limited time I have.
Twenty-two minutes later, a smile appeared on my face as I finally solved the formation, and I got out of the library before opening my eyes.
'It is time to open that door,' I said to myself as I walked out of the above, taking it with me.
Twenty minutes later, I was once again back in front of the white door of the spherical building, and without wasting any time, I waved my hand, and a formation appeared and flew toward the door.
I have to thank Grimms for it again, especially old snake and Rhaek, as it is because of them I am able to open this door so soon.
It is all thanks to the ink they have provided.
All the ink I had was at Grand Lord cla.s.s, and since we had sent Jim away, the only person who had the ability to create the ink that was above the limit, there wasn't ink above the limit made by humans.
The ink I am using is from the old snake; combine, there are twelve pots total, which is far less than I like, and I might need to make some myself, which is going to be a challenge itself.
While I have a level, I do not have the skill.
So, if possible, I have to use the ink sparingly as I don't think I have enough time and resources for thousands or hundreds of times; I will need to try before succeeding at making it.
Buzz!
The formation stuck and buzzed as it lighted up while I watched with great trepidation.
It is my first time breaking into the door of this level, and anything could happen. Like a beam could shoot out of the door and vaporize me. It had happened many times and could happen to me.
Click!
I was having those thoughts when a clicking sound rang out from the door, scaring the h.e.l.l out of me.
I controlled my emotion before turning to the door with a cautious expression.
I looked around it for a second for any danger, and when I saw none, I walked toward it before placing both of my hands on it and pus.h.i.+ng.
Krrrrr!
I did not have to use much force, as the door opened smoothly, and when it opened wide enough, I walked inside, with the door closing behind me.
I did not care for that as I was busy staring at that scene in front of me; I have imagined many scenarios, but not this.
There are seven skeletons lying around in the hall in various positions; looking at them, it is obvious they were killed, quite brutally, by signs I see.
I looked at them for a few seconds before turning to the center of the large hall, where there was a door, and it seemed human size.
