Chapter 2907 Family
Marina is not human, which is obvious looking at her, but when one looks inside, it becomes even more obvious. Like Rai, her human DNA had changed; she is now considered only 87.3% human.
Unlike Rai, this change is now fueled by mutation and thus is much stabler, but it also means it couldn't be hidden, like him. There is also a difference of change in them; Rai is 98% human compared to Marina, and the changes inside him, seem so small, which is why I wouldn't be able to revert her back to her original self.
Or hide the sign of change, as I did with Rai.
The changes are permanent.
Her core is also now different; the old core had been destroyed, and so is her inheritance; she now has a bloodline core, a fused bloodline. One part of it is scaled emerald in color, while the other is in golden amber with lines of purple over it, and both of these bloodlines are powerful.
Extremely powerful, as powerful as her daughters and rai's bloodline, and she had two of them.
If I were to guess right, marina had the power of High-Grandmaster despite being a Grandmaster; it is extremely close to Grand Lord, a hair breath away.
It is, without doubt, the moment she breaks into the High-Grandmaster cla.s.s, she will have the power of Grand Lord and not an average Grand Lord.
If she breakthrough now, she will have enough power to toss me around the room easily.
I have looked through everything, from the moment she had been attacked by the Grimm to the time she consumed the chaotic miracle fruit of bloodlines. I could tell how close she had been to death so many times, and she was right; if I hadn't made all those changes in her, she wouldn't have survived.
I have changed and strengthened her const.i.tution through many ways, from using the resources to const.i.tution seeds and even conditioning her body with a lot of miracle fruit energy.
They have been done to loosen her inheritance so that she could advance, but they ended up doing a completely different thing.
"You have been very lucky to survive; there were more hundred instances during the process where you would have died," I said; there were more like over three hundred, and she survived it all, some through luck, some through her abilities and some through the things I have done.
"I know," she said softly.
"Do you know the name of bloodlines?" I asked, and to that, she nodded. "Though the bloodline memories I have received, one is poison dragon while the other is a lady of the forest," she replied, and I wasn't much surprised, especially hearing the poison dragon; I have seen the same draconic elements in her as I had seen in the Rai.
As for the lady of the forest, I don't know anything about that, but one thing is clear, it is as much as powerful as a dragon bloodline, and it is a green element.
"Both of your bloodlines could be used for healing; have you tried it?" I asked, to which she shook her head. "I have yet to get full control of powers and abilities, and seeing how dangerous they are, I want to get full control before I even start practicing with these powers," she said, looking at her hands.
?
"Don't worry, you will get control over them soon," I said; I know how much she loves healing; it is something she had spent her life doing, and I could understand how painful it is for her to watch the injured, but not able to help.
I talked with Marina for an hour before I let them, but not before placing her on the bed to sleep; she had not slept for more than three days, with a curse appearing all of a sudden and before working on a different thing.
She might be able to help others with her skills, but she still possesses the knowledge. She is one of the best healers in the world, and when she gets control over her powers, she will become best even better than me.
Before, there were a lot of restrictions, but now there are none, with a lot of freedom and power for anyone jealous.
Buzz!
The teleportation formation buzzed, and I appeared in my home, right in the living room, where my sister was playing the game with my father.
"Brother!"
She heard my steps and looked toward me, and froze for a moment before she screamed loudly and came running toward me before jumping in my arms.
"How is my little angel," I said as I swooped her into my arms. "I am good, but mommy still has not returned," she said, tears dripping from her cute angelic face.
"She will; just like brother had returned, mommy will also return soon," I said as I wiped away her tears. "Really?" she asked excitedly.
"Yes," I said.
Mother had not returned, but she is safe; about a month ago, she had sent a message through the mist stone, a sort of artifact that is related to the empire of mist Grand Art.
Though reading the words, it does not look like she will come back soon, and for it, I am sort of feeling glad about it.
Things have become dangerous, and with her art, she will need to join the battle immediately, and Grimm will target her, not only because of her art but also due to her relation to me.
My heart was filled with guilt after I heard what happened to Marina; if she had not been related to me, she wouldn't have been targeted such viciously.
She may have survived with freaky luck, but others would not; this time, the Grimms would not make a mistake. Earlier, I was just a thorn in their path; now, I have become a sword, killing two of their Grand Lords in front of their very eyes; they will take revenge for that.
I consoled by my sister for a while before walking up to my father with my sister in her arms; she was not willing to let me go.
"H..have you?" he asked hesitatingly. To that, I nodded, and his eyes went wide in shock. I told him before leaving that when I return, I might be at that level.
Soon, he controlled his emotions and sadness and clouded his eyes, "Don't worry, I will be fine," I said softly, to which he nodded, but I could see the clear worry in his eyes.
"How have things been?" I asked, "Fine; there is no danger in the pyramid," he replied before looking me in the eyes. "I heard the things might not stay this way?" he asked softly, a voice barely greater than a whisper.
"Things are fine, especially now with Lady Atkins and me appearing; more will come soon, and it won't be long before we wipe away the Grimms from the face of this earth," I said.
"I truly hope so," he replied as he gently patted the head of my sister.
"Have you guys had dinner?" I asked, "No, I was cooking it," I replied, "Well then, I am cooking," I said and got up.
"Rest, Michael; I will cook," he said, and I opened my mouth to object, but seeing his expression, I closed my mouth and sat by my sister, who was now playing with Nero.
