Chapter 2647: HG-Q-PX347 I

"Lord Zaar, the connection had formed with the ruin," the gate technician informed. "Thank you," I said, and my armor appeared on my body before stepping inside.

Once again, I was in a spatial tunnel where I stood without making the slightest movement, as one should when traveling through the spatial tunnel.

The ruin I am going to call is HG-Q-PX347, a recent ruin that came to our world, not even a century old. We had sent a Grandmaster when it had arrived and that Grandmaster returned within an hour, almost dead; not long after, we sent a High Grandmaster, and she returned less than half a day.

She was fine, only slightly injured, but she did not want to go back to the ruin again, and since then, n.o.body had gone to this ruin.

Unlike the ruins of Master and below category, there are more than half of the ruins of Grandmaster and above cla.s.s ruins that hadn't been explored. It is simple for a reason for that, first is, we do not have many Grandmasters, and second, they are dangerous, especially of the 'X' category like this one.

Sending the Grandmasters into such ruins is a huge risk, as losing a single one of them is a great loss to the race as they could be used to fight against the Grimms.

Such ruins of x category and above are only explored by the desperate or those who are at the end of their life and want to be useful before taking their last breath, but now things are going to change.

Seeing how the war is s.h.i.+fting to the ruins, I don't think any ruin will remain unexplored, especially with the pa.s.sing time where we would need more and more resources and might even go to the x.x.x ruins, which means death.

More than half of the people that go there don't return at all.

Thud!

A few seconds pa.s.sed, and the tunnel before it reached its end, and I got thrown out and landed hard on soft, colorful sand.

'Welcome to fantasyland," I said as I got. This is ruin HG-Q-PX347 or fantasyland, as the two people who visited this place have called it.

I have appeared on the riverbank, which has nine-colored sand, soft to touch and glittering, that I couldn't resist but taking some of it.

In front of me is a small river with crystal clear water, with a faint inviting smell that even Grandmasters would have a hard time resisting. It is not just the river and sand that is beautiful, but also the plants and the sky like it is the most beautiful fantasy created out of someone else's imagination.

Though it is very beautiful, it is just as dangerous, more dangerous than that.

There is a reason why they called it fantasyland, and it is not because of the beauty of the ruin. No, the beauty had played a little part in why those two have called it the fantasyland.

It is the psychedelic law that is woven into the fabric of this world, powerful enough that even most High-Grandmasters won't be able to resist it.

The Grandmaster who visited this ruin had needed over a year to get out of the hallucinating effect of this ruin psychedelics; it had imprinted itself into his very soul. The High Grandmaster had suffered hallucinations for more than two weeks before she was able to get out of it.

She was none other than Lady Redhorn; I talked to her yesterday, and she said it is the most dangerous ruins she had ever gone, and I should think about ten times before coming inside it.

Talking to her has helped me a lot, and I have made a lot of preparations. My clone had already sat in the center of the huge circulation formation, and all the soul defenses of my armor had also been activated, but I felt it affecting my soul.

"The laws are really too powerful," I said with a sigh.

The power of law had already been nearly destroyed through the thousands of years, but less than a fraction of the power that remains is still affecting me to this degree, and the more I stayed in this ruin, the greater the imprint will be and which will bring the powerful effect of the psychedelic.

I could already feel some of its effects, like relaxation and slightly increased heart rate, and even some sweating.

"Activate the soul was.h.i.+ng formation," I said to my clone, and the formation he was sitting in lit up and began to send the white waves into my soul while at the same time, I began to circulate the soul cleansing method into my soul.

The effect was immediate, especially of the soul cleansing method. It used the soul-was.h.i.+ng waves like a cleaner, and while my soul is the floor and imprints are the stains.

I am quite shocked as I have read the data of that Grandmaster and Lady Redhorn and knew how hard it is to get rid of these imprints, but I am getting it easily.

It took me a few minutes, but I understood the reason.

My soul is different; it is extremly pure and far too stronger for its level, and, most importantly, it has been affected by rule-bending power. It could be said that the rule-bending power had merged and had been constantly, since the moment I had created my core, making it very different from the other souls.

It made me relieved, as initially, I was planning to stay here for three to four days, but now it looks like I could stay longer, though I will have to be careful of those dense psychedelic zones that Lady Redhorn had talked about, those sounded extremly dangerous.

"You two, come out,"

I said to Ashlyn and Nero, and soon, both of them came out. This is a dangerous ruin, and I wouldn't have brought them if I had not been able to ward off those law imprints, and since I could ward them off, it is, without doubt, that they will be able to ward it off.

"Don't go too far," I said to them as they took up in the air.

"Yes, father," Chew Chew

They said and flew away; I did not immediately follow them. Instead, I took out the gla.s.s bottle and gently filled it with water. The water is filled with thick psychedelic marks. I don't have use of it now, but I am sure I will once say, not to mention, it is a thing one should have in hand.

After collecting the water from the river, I flew up into the sky.

I have a mission in this ruin, I have to find the source of the intense reaction that sensors Pyramid had sensed before the Grimms do, which I am sure have come to this ruin, but the thing is, I don't know where to look, and this ruin is quite big, not to mention extremly dangerous.

The residual psychedelic law imprints are the biggest danger of this ruin, but it is not the only danger; there are some things here that could kill me far more quickly than the psychedelics.
