Chapter 2552 Golden Light Fire Claws
'Second Burst!'
I activated, and immediately powerful energy welled inside me, stuffing into me to the brim. My speed increased immediately with power; I spun fast and attacked the drill-like claw that was coming to tear me apart.
CLANNG
The drill clashed against my sword and stopped, but the next moment, it had attacked with its other claw, which also had the golden fire light enveloping it, and it was spinning like a drill.
I gave the claw holding my sword a hard push, and moved my sword to deal with the other claw that was coming toward me.
I defended against it, but I did not get even a moment of rest as the other claw that I had pushed back came at me. I again pushed the claw back; this time, it was prepared for the push, but I was even more prepared, and with a flick of my wrist, I changed the direction of force, making it nearly stumble.
CLANNG CLANNG CLANNG!
It glared at me, but I gave it a sweet smile and moved my sword at its chest, but it had reacted quickly and stopped my sword and followed with another attack, which I stopped, before moving my sword to counter another.
This Golden Fire Werewolf is very powerful, but its fighting skills are lacking a little. It had the skills of the Grandmaster while holding the power of the High Grandmaster. It is not utilizing the power with the efficiency that it should.
I did not want to tote my horn, but I was quite lucky and talented when it came to combat. I learned very quickly; even the teacher and professor noted in the first week they had met me. Though not everyone is talented, and it is a harsh truth.
This Golden Fire Werewolf is powerful, but it still needs some time before it would able to utilize its power with the skill and precision it needs.
It is not the only one in this predicament; some of the humans in a project that is leveling up to the Grandmasters also have the same problem. Some of the younger ones do not have the necessary skills to utilize the power of the Grandmaster to its full might.
Pyramid is working on it, but the time we have is too short; I hope the comprehensive training program that Pyramid has designed will help to at least survive against the Grimms with the same power or higher power, as long as they survive for long enough, they will acquire the skills they need.
It is a good thing; 80% of the people who are advancing to the Grandmaster cla.s.s are old and experienced ones.
I have identified this problem since the beginning and thus especially focusing on the experience powerhouses, even if some of them require extra work. As these people are equal to three or four worth of inexperienced ones.
CLANNG!
I once again deflected the attack and moved to counter another; I was playing pure defensive, and I do not like it even a bit. Usually, I play defensive, but when I am against such enemies, I like to go offensive when I know their skills, but here, it is quite risky.
The b.a.s.t.a.r.d is still quite watching the battle, not far away from me, and I had to devout quite a lot of concentration to it.
If I fully lost myself in battle, it might take advantage, and before I know it, I would be in its stomach. I have read its information, and in its younger days, it had directly swallowed quite many tyrants directly in its big mouth.
It might have even swallowed the Grandmaster, but we don't have a record of it doing that.
If it hadn't been here, I would have fought without any worries, but with its presence, I have to be careful. While it had disappeared from me, and I was also a little angry, I still took it as a challenge, and not to mention, this Gosdr is no weakling.
What it did not have with the skills made up for more than enough with power; even without Fasra's presence, this Grimm is quiet is a challenge.
"I have heard so much about you, Zaar, but it turned out you are only so-so without your stings, could only fight defensively," It mocked as it attacked me with drills even more powerful.
The shockwave created by our attacks created the fiery zones around before they get filled with elemental energies the next second.
If we had been fighting somewhere else than here, we would have changed the topography of the whole place. There would have fiery rivers and crushed forests around us, and all the life that is not powerful enough would have simply died.
The power of the High Grandmaster is no joke; they could crush the mountains and swallow the rivers. That is why said, it is the power of the G.o.d.
"I may be so-so, but you are even worse considering, even after thousands of attacks on your part, you weren't able to give me a scratch," I mocked back, and it immediately wiped out that mocking smile on its face.
"You are right; even after so much time, I wasn't able to land an attack on you," It said with a face full of seriousness, and the next second, a golden flame mark appeared on its head.
Seeing the mark, I instantly became serious; the Golden Fire Werewolf is one of five great tribes of Grimms and has a mark. Only those very talented could produce a mark; it is talented, and so was the Golden Fire Werewolf that appeared in the champions.h.i.+p.
I had killed it, and I will kill it; it is a good thing; it is ready to bring out all its power. I want to test my full strength too.
"So, I am going to bring out my whole strength, and I hope you survive at least a minute in front of it," It said, and the golden flaming mark on its forehead burned and a powerful bloodline aura released from its body; creating a huge phantom of the golden fire werewolf.
The suppressions clouded over the huge area as the phantom appeared, even the Black Sharkman had become serious as it appeared, and the human and Grimm Emperors who had just walked up began fainting as a vast aura of phantom washed over them.
The bloodline phantom had stayed only for a second before it went inside the Gosdr, giving it a terrifying aura.
"Golden Burning Light Claws!" said Gosdr solemnly, and dense golden light covered its claws before it began burning.
The light fire was so powerful that it began to affect the same around it heavily. I could it stretching around it as the fire tried to melt it.
"I had not thought I would need to use this move against you, which is good too; ever since I had advanced to High Grandmaster, I wanted to test it against the human," It said before a disappointed expression appeared on its face.
"It is quite sad that I could not kill you; the coven would be very mad if I brought your dead body to them," It said with a sigh before its eyes turned sharp as a sword, and it came at me.
