Chapter 2413 Kiss
"Amazing, what wine is this; it is much better than what you have brought out earlier," said Lady May as she took a sip of the wine.
"I am glad you liked it, lady May," I replied.
"You seemed to have a quite big stock of this wine, seeing how you are splurging it," said Jim. "Yes, I have it but don't drink too much; the effect of alcohol inside it is not easy to burn off with energy," I cautioned, which surprised all of them.
Usually, only magical wines could affect the powerhouses, but those effects could be easily warded off with energy.
It is a little different with this wine; one will have to try really hard for quite a while to burn off the effect of its effect. The more they consume, the greater difficulty they will have to get out of its effects.
"It is true! It is really difficult to burn this buzz." Stephan said loudly and, to my surprise, gulped down the whole gla.s.s of wine before asking for another one from the golems.
He is not the only one; surprises flashed into the eyes of several people, and when they found out what I said was true, they gulped down the wine fast instead of being careful with it and asked for a refilling.
Seeing such behavior, regretful smiles couldn't help but appear on the faces of two council members, looking at their wine gla.s.ses with regret.
There are very few things that could affect us without power; even when we find a good wine, and it affects us, its effect burns down quickly by the natural defenses of the body; so we cant remain drunk for long unless they could find very powerful alcohol which is quite hard.
This effect of wine surprised me earlier; the recipe did not mention such effects, and they are unheard of. As the buzz seemed to be quite adept in avoiding the body's natural defenses, and if I were to guess a reason for it, then it would be the rule-bending power I had added into the wine.
"You have found a real treasure, Grandmaster Zaar; sometimes we really need the buzz to forget everything," said Lord Hunt before gulping down the wine.
Soon, we began eating, and I again received the praises as each course rolled onto the table.
Conversation flowed as people ate and drank; I did not hold back on either food or drink. All of them have worked really hard and deserve this, considering from tomorrow they will have to work even harder.
They seemed to know that as well, as except for a few people, others did not hold back. Even the teacher had drunk several gla.s.ses of wine which little surprised me; unlike her younger sister teacher did not much like wine.
She would only drink two or three gla.s.ses of wine are most and would always burn its buzzing effects right after, but today she already drank four gla.s.ses, and the golem was filling the fifth.
I did not say anything; she seemed to be enjoying herself, laughing, talking. She rarely lets herself be open up like this.
"Grandmaster Zaar, do you have a few extra bottles of this wine? If you have it, I like some," said Lord Hunt as we reached the last course of the meal, "I would also like some," Lady May chimed in.
They are not the only ones who asked for the bottles; Jim and others have already asked for some, even Grandmaster Sethi asked for some, who don't like the least wine of all.
"I have a few extra bottles; I will send them to you," I replied. I have more than enough bottles that I could afford to give some. Aside from two hundred bottles, there are a few barrels that I haven't bottled yet; they will at least give me a thousand bottles.
Not to mention, I have already decided to brew another batch of it. How much I will brew will depend on the benefits it offers.
I am going to study them on Tyrants from tomorrow, and if the result is to my satisfaction, I will brew another badge which will be bigger but also use even more powerful resources than the last time.
"It was a meal to remember Grandmaster Zaar, one of the best in my life," said Lord Hunt as he walked toward the teleportation formation with Lady May.
As they left, the people lost all their reservations; soon, the music became loud, and people began to dance and drink to their heart's content. I did not hold back on liquor and let them drink as much as they wanted.
As long as they do not drink from others' gla.s.ses, there is no problem.
I have diluted the wine to be suitable for them; if Stephan drank from Jim's gla.s.s, then one sip would be more than enough to hammer him to unconsciousness.
While people danced, I discussed important things with Jim and Grandmaster Charline. They are not drunk enough to not think coherently.
I am asking for their opinion about some things; I am not perfect at everything and know when to ask for help. Both of them are exceptionally knowledgeable, and Grandmistress had vast experience, that in a few minutes, both of them solved several problems that had been bugging me.
Three hours pa.s.sed before finally, and people began to leave one by one till only the teacher, me, and golems remained.
"I did not know you could drink so much, teacher," I said to her teasingly, and I got a smile that shook my heart. I have never seen a teacher smile like that, a smile filled with seductiveness.
I was so stumped seeing the seductive smile on her gorgeous face that I did not react when the teacher turned to me and brought her face closer to mine, so close that I could smell her fruity breath.
Before I could understand what was happening, I felt her lips on mine, and it made me feel anything I had ever felt before.
The feelings I had buried deep in my heart erupted that moment, and my hands moved to cup her face as the kiss became deeper.
I began to feel the things that I had never felt for anyone. These feelings I had for the teacher broke the shackles I had placed on them and filled my heart, and transformed into a pa.s.sion that I began to pour into the kiss.
We were kissing like we were air to each other when suddenly the teacher pulled back with eyes wide open.
"What I have done!" She whispered in shock, and before I could do anything, she sped toward the teleportation and disappeared a second later.
