Chapter 2349 Second Seed
Sup Sup Sup
I flashed around as ghostly ribbons began to come at me from all directions. These ribbons are fast but also unpredictable, capable of efforts changing their direction sharply, not to mention their ghostly properties.
The information from the Pyramid has said that the best way to deal with these ribbons is avoiding them, which I am doing right now, but there is an even better way which is to directly clash against them.
This way is not as easy as it sounds, as those ribbons are not the normal ribbons against which one could clash.
If one moved their weapons to clash against them, these ribbons would simply be pa.s.sed through it and struck the body.
There are a few ways to avoid that, creating an extremely concentrated powerpoint. So that even ghostly ribbons would have a hard time pa.s.sing through it, but that would need a powerful energy control and a large amount of energy.
The second is something I could do, creating an anti-ghost layer around my sword, which would effectively stop its ribbons.
I am employing none; I don't want to do something different that will attract too much attention as my strength would have already attracted the attention, and the more I will reveal, the greater data they will get about me that would reveal my ident.i.ty.
'First Boost!'
Suddenly, I activated the first boost and appeared it before slas.h.i.+ng at it with the fiery sword.
I could see the sudden silent attack had surprised it greatly, but it had reacted immediately as those ribbons which I had avoided coming close to it retracted back to their amazing speed before forming a sheld of ribbons.
BANG BANG BANG!
The banging sound rang as my sword clashed against its s.h.i.+eld, and I disappeared from my spot and appeared above it before slas.h.i.+ng down my sword.
It is not the only one who has the speed, I have it too, and now I am going to use it.
I moved around it like a phantom, attacking from every angle and direction, just like it did earlier, but unlike it, I am a lot faster and have a lot of flexibility in attacking due to my small size, which is always an advantage.
Many humans bemoan the size difference between Grimms and us to kill Grimm Monsters, the beings of huge proportions.
We need a lot of power and, most of the time, have to attack it repeatedly bring down its huge Grimm body but would be crushed under a single well-powered attack of them.
"You have really irked me, human!" said Rhinoman, and a ghostly silver aura exploded from its body, and I have to say, the aura is quite powerful.
"Wailing Blade!" It said hollowly and appeared next to me before attacking me with its saber, which turned ghostly, and as it came at me, it let out a very faint wail that had a very strong disorienting effect.
If I did not have strong soul defenses, I would have definitely lost it.
This b.a.s.t.a.r.d's attacks are too strange, and even the Grandmasters of the same level could barely hold against it. This is why the one who mostly fights this b.a.s.t.a.r.d is Grandmaster Rhyden; only her abilities are perfectly suited to deal with this b.a.s.t.a.r.d.
The wailing ability is powerful, but it is still weak compared to the raw power behind the attack. One considers this attack with average power; if one takes out the ghostly wailing but they would be absolutely wrong.
The ghostly movement masked that, which is why I did not waste any time and activated the 'Second Boost' immediately.
CLANNG!
Our blades clashed, creating the huge explosion around us while at the same time, the ghostly energies tried to infiltrate inside me, but the bright red fire burning around my sword burned that ghostly energy to ashes.
It had irritated the Rhinoman further as it had attacked me with even greater power as it appeared above me.
CLANNG CLANNG CLANNG!
The sea begins exploding around, completely dwarfing the battle that is happening not far away by both noise and power, but it could be more interesting as our Grandmaster is beating the Bullman so badly that he might able to kill it; if he continued with such momentum.
Hun!
A few seconds after, I had just thought that when a Grandmaster rapidly approached the battle before joining it, instantly decimating the lead Grandmaster s.h.i.+ had.
While Grandmaster s.h.i.+ may be vexed by it, I am happy as instantly; a seed came out of me and moved toward the Fishman that just appeared. It took a few seconds for the seed to reach it before seeping inside it.
Its expressions changed the moment it; if it had not been fighting, it would be done more than checking itself with several of its abilities and soul sense.
'The Bloodlines,' I said with a sigh inside me; the Fishman and the Bullman had nearly the same strength, but despite using eight seeds, double of what I had used on the Bullman, it had still sensed it faintly.
It is twice as hard to use the seed on those with bloodlines than those with Inheritance, and this difficulty increases with the type of Bloodline my prey has. If it is a sensory bloodline or the Bloodline with greater sensory power than normal, then the difficulty would increase the difficulty instantly.
The bloodlines are very territorial, and they would not let something like my seed inside them if they could sense it.
So, the moment my seed seeped inside the Grimm, they would simply disappear, leaving no proof inside, making the Bloodline and other defensive mechanisms of the body find nothing.
It took a few minutes for the seed to spread sneakily, but it did, and soon, I got a complete picture of Fishman in front of me and now could kill it with a single command, and that couldn't help but make me a happy.
I could kill one of the most powerful powerhouses with just a thought.
